EU Parliament committees vote against ACTA!!

Good news for european internet users!!

 

The committees of the European Parliament voted against the the Anti-Counterfeiting Trader Agreement (Acta)!

 

As you know, and some months ago this was major concern for all internet users, ACTA, SOPA and PIPA where threatening our freedom to use the internet.

 

Finally one good news... ACTA was REJECTED, at least at the european parliment.

It is indeed good news guys, that's why i wanted to share it with you.

 

Funny thing is, there was actually a small revolution when came to light ACTA was going to be voted here in europe, but surprisingly there wasn't much news when they rejected it.

I found that article by mere coincidence.

Good new for europe. I just wish they world do the same in Japan now. -_-

Bob, ACTA is not only of the Europe, if they passed everything with success, then even your internet was blown up, in every countries since some countries already blocked illegal sharing sites allot thanks to ACTA, SOPA and PIPA. But already a big side of the world denied them, now the other side, and the other groups to vote against.

This is excellent news! You're right also - it's weird that this isn't being reported with the same pomp that the propositions were in the first place.

I knew since a week ago. My country was waiting for the European Parliament decision because is a member in UE. Since it was against I'm so happy right now.
