Putting media on the forum

hi one thing i can never work out is how to put stuff on the forum I'd love to but it goes on about URL I understand how that works but I want to put stuff on via MY DOCUMENTS and stuff on the computer not the internet...is there a way i can do it?

You mean you want to include images and videos in your posts? Only contributors can upload directly from their PC. That is because otherwise everyone would upload from their PC directly to our server and we have to protect a bit the resources of the server.

 

As for the rest, you have to upload the image on a image sharing site, like Photobucket, TinyPic, Imageshack and copy the IMG link they give you and paste it in your post. As for the videos, you can upload them on Youtube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Metacafe, Google, Facebook and then click on the Insert Video icon and paste the link to the video.

OOOOHHHHH right. so can you put pictures from your pc into you signiture (upload em?) and how and can i put pictures into an album?

For signature and album you upload pictures from your computer as well, I was talking strictly about 'putting media on the forum', aka, posting images or videos directly in posts.
