If you download uTorrent and just download the torrent version along with the crack and update, it works fine.

For downloading torrents you need a program. I use utorrent. Google, download and install the program. Then download the .torrent file given in the thread, which will be of a very small size. Open the file and it will open the utorrent program, from where you choose your download location and keep the file on download. The speed of download will depend on what is your upper limit in bandwidth and how many seeds are there i.e. how many people are currently downloading or actively seeding the file. I'm currently downloading the file through torrent and it is giving me maximum speed, so I guess you will also be able to download it quickly enough.

Also, as a side note, there are many other torrent clients like BitTorrent, Vuze and so on with which you can download.
