How old is too old to be a yaoi/bl fangirl?

There's no age limit to be a fan of BL. If elderly people read romance novels, why would they stop, when it involves men exclusively? :T People should do whatever brings them happiness. Though, I might get a kick out of seeing an elderly person read erotica. Are the steamy scenes too dangerous for their heart? O . O

I agree that there should be no age limit but i would find it rather amusing to see my grandmother reading yaoi and blushing... second thought I really do not want to see that.

I'm happy this existed and that the results were "none" because I'll be *gasp* 30 end of this year and I am starting to feel in the minority. Nicely enough no one has ever encouraged those feelings, it's just that I don't meet a lot of people my own age into many of the things I'm into.

 

Plus even when people like comics and anime with me, they seem very shut off to yaoi/bl as an interest of mine, making me, a grown adult, pretty mum on it unless I'm in a forum or at a booth where I know I will encounter people with mutual interests. Even where hentai is openly appreciated, yaoi is still kind of a convo killer outside a mutual space.

 

I hope this attitude continues, and wanted to bump this thread as an aging fan.

I also don't believe there is a too old age to be a yaoi/bl fan. I know people who are in their 50's (with kids in their late 20's or in their 30's), who still love yaoi. Yaoi is ageless, as being a fujoshi/fudanshi is. ~~ cheetah10

 

If one can be a music fan or arts fan all their life, so can one be a yaoi fan all their life!~~
