Name: Makoto Tokutaro

Mangaka Allies: Yukio Oda

Age: 27

D.O.B: January 1st, 1990

Position: Seke

Occupation: World renowned author of romance/exotic novel's. He also doubles as a well known Mangaka-

he specializes in BL as well as Heterosexual relationships.

❤- Writing, drawing, cooking, gambling, traveling

✘- Deadlines, his editor (she could get on his nerves), thunderstorms, when people ask him the same thing over and over again

Background:

Makoto, is the oldest out of two children- he loved his younger brother with all of his heart, not only that but he was the one who kept pushing the older male to follow his dreams and make something out of himself. Which he did, at the young age of eighteen- he was noticed for both his writing and his art work. Not only that, but both a well known book publishing company and a manga company asked him to work for them- which he accepted and ever since then he became famous.

Snoring was heard coming from a young man with raven colored hair- his forehead was resting against his work desk, his pale hand was holding a pencil limply in his grasp. His white tee-shirt sleeve was off of his shoulder,

exposing even more of his soft flesh. The computer screen in front of him was flashing, a blank white canvas just waiting to be filled with words. Piles manuscripts and draws were scattered all over the work area. The corners of the room had stacks of books, looking as though they will topple over at any given moment. Ringing was heard coming from near by, the sleeping form.

The man didn't wake up, he was a heavy sleeper- nothing could wake him up... That was until he felt something smack him on the back of his head. He sat up right rubbing his head groaning loudly- he winched when he felt a slight knot forming there. "It's about time you get up!" A woman with long jet black hair and olive green eyes was standing there with her arms crossed under her decent sized chest. Her white button down shirt framed her petite form, her black dress skirt ended just above her pale slender legs. The raven haired male leaned back in his plush white leather chair. His face had a little bit of stubble- "Where did you come from?" He asked in a tired tone of voice, yawning loudly- stretching his arms above his head.

"Honestly, Makoto-kun..." The woman huffed out as she rubbed her forehead in a irritated like fashion. "I used the key you made for me! Now, get dressed! We have a packed day today!" She scolded the man who just stared blankly at her for a few moment's, trying to get the sleep out of his eyes. Makoto, groaned and sat up from his chair, he pushed up on his arm rest.

"Alright... Alright, I'm up... I'm up..." Makoto sighed softly as he stood up and scratched his chest, walking pass the 'demon' lady as he would like to call her. The woman really did know how to get under his skin- he headed towards his bedroom while dragging his feet, today was going to be one long day for him.

Name: Chiaki Tokutaro.

Cosplay Allies: “Disaster” (the cosplay group he’s in).

Age: 25.

D.O.B.: May 1st, 1992.

Position: Seke.

Occupation: Works part-time in a café called “Cakez” which is popular amongst the youth and oddly enough business people in that neighbourhood. He is also a popular cosplayer under the name Yuu.

Likes: Coffee, fruit, travelling, making costumes, listening to music.

Dislikes: Sweets (especially chocolate), people who mock cosplay, misunderstandings.

Background: Chiaki is the youngest of the two siblings. He’s quite a trouble-maker but that seems to attract people to him. Though this could be because of his unusual hair colour and laid-back attitude, making it easy to talk to him. He’s friendly to those who he likes and pretty rude to those he can’t stand which got him into trouble and even got beaten up before for speaking impolite to an older person. In the café however he tries to maintain his positive side to the best he can without exploding in a customer’s face. In secret, even his brother doesn’t know, he’s a well-known cosplayer called ‘Yuu’ for both his female and male outfits. He makes his costumes from scratch as he found out some years ago that he was pretty creative in this field and wanted to do something with it.

Chiaki was sitting in front of his laptop, glasses on so that his eyes wouldn’t get too tired from the staring he did. Scrolling through the pages of fabrics and sewing material, sometimes clicking on the items that he deemed fit for his next costume that he was going to make. He didn’t make them at home but at a friend’s house as he didn’t feel like being bothered by his brother with all of this. Honestly, he didn’t know what to expect from the guy if he told him that he was a cosplayer. He doubted that the male would even know the term as he had never seen him show interest in that kind of convention before. Not to him.

He rubbed the space under his eyes as he finally found everything he needed for his next project. It wasn’t a cheap hobby but he liked it so he didn’t know why he would need to stop with it anyway. He even earned some money from it through modelling for magazines and such. It was a relief that Makoto still hadn’t found out that it was indeed him that was in those pictures. Stretching his arms out in front of him after he paid for his order, closing the laptop and then got out of his chair. He started to feel a little hungry as he hadn’t eaten anything for breakfast yet. Not bothering to put on a shirt, he went out of his bedroom with only some jeans on. His hair slightly messy.

As he walked through the house, he noticed someone that wasn’t a family member, staring at her with squinted eyes. ”Ah… You’re here again.” He muttered, a yawn following soon after. The woman had some pretty stylish hair and was always neatly dressed so he couldn’t make any comment about her outfit. Her personality was fine as well so he wasn’t faced with occasional annoyance in his home.

With that, he got to the kitchen and cut up some fruit, making some sort of fruit salad. Grabbing the bowl with a glass of orange juice, he sat down at the kitchen table and started to eat his breakfast sluggishly.

"Well, good morning to you too, Chiaki-kun..." The woman said as she glanced over at her client's younger brother for a few moments before she looked up the stairs that the older male had disappeared to. Checking her watch, her nicely formed black eyebrow twitched in an annoyed fashion. "How long is it going to take you to get ready, Makoto!" She yelled up the stairs, feeling even more irritated with the man. They were on a tight schedule for crying out loud! She really hoped the young man didn't fall asleep while taking a shower... Again... She had on more than one occasion had to pull him out of the shower naked and slapped him until he woke up.

Up stairs in Makoto's room, he was in fact standing under the now cold shower water- resting his head against the white tile of his shower. His light colored eyes were closed shut, he had bags under his eyes; he hasn't gotten much sleep due to the amount of work he had to do... However, he opened his eyes when he heard the woman shouting up at him to get ready, jeez she's worse than my mother! He thought bitterly as he started to wash up. A few minutes later, he was out of his shower, drying off his body and hair along with shaving the stubble off of his face. He finished his morning routine without being dragged out of his shower-- for once.

Makoto sighed heavily as he walked down the stairs fixing his button down white dress shirt, tucking the shirt into his nice black dress slacks. Two different colored ties were slung over his shoulders, he wanted to get his editor and his brother's opinion on which color to wear. The woman huffed out when she saw him half way dressed, "We are going to be late!" She hissed through clutched teeth.

The raven haired male waved her off, "I couldn't decide on a tie color... Purple or Red?" He asked in a tired tone of voice, she shook her head- "It doesn't matter which color!"

"It does so! The purple would say out of the box thinking and red would say he's a follower!" He pointed out switching the ties back and forth in front of him.

"Ugh, you are seriously making me angry..." She smacked her forhead with the palm of her hand.

Makoto walked around her and head towards the kitchen, he wanted to eat something before he left. The woman whipped around and stalked after the slightly taller male, "You don't have time to eat! We'll get something on the way!" He paused in his tracks right by the table where his little brother was at, he leaned over and snatched a piece of fruit from his brother's bowl.

He was completely ignoring the woman at this point, munching on the sweet fruit he placed the two different colored ties on the table. "Which one do you like?" He asked as he stole another piece of fruit. His editor looked like she was going to start banging her head against the door frame of the kitchen, she just wanted to make the meeting on time, for once!

The yelling that the woman did was something that became a routine so he wasn’t too shocked about it anymore. Silently munching on his food while scrolling through his phone for something interesting to read. He tried looking up something for this game called Overwatch as he had just started it and already looked pretty fun to play around with. The character designs were pretty neat as well so the more reason he could enjoy it. The scenery was beautiful but the maps could be tricky sometimes, demanding different heroes for each one which went best with it. He didn’t care about that part as he only played those that he felt like playing at that moment even if it meant making it a bit more difficult for his teammates to win the game. Perhaps that was one of his points that didn’t make him likeable when playing games like these.

He didn’t even bother taking of his glasses as they weren’t annoying him, actually it helped him to see the screen of his phone better so he wouldn’t need to squint his eyes. Eventually he found a fun youtuber who got through the gameplay in a nice way so it wouldn’t get too boring after a while. As he was focused on this, he didn’t notice his brother coming to his side and stealing one of his fruits before it was too late. He hit the pause button and lazily looked at Makoto, huffing lightly as he saw that it was a strawberry that got snatched away. ”At least take the melon.” He muttered under his breath as he liked strawberries the most.

Humming as the male asked about which colour would suit him the most. ”The purple one suits you more.” He responded, tapping with his finger on the tie. He then looked at the hour on his cell phone and almost choked on his food as he saw what time it already was. He had to work a full day in the café today as they didn’t have enough people at the moment. It was one of the disadvantages for having students as employees for the most part. He shoved some more pieces in his mouth, before getting up, patting the woman on her shoulder with a pitiful look on his face. ”Good luck with that guy.” He said before running upstairs where he put on a shirt and combed his hair which was still a little wet despite having taken a shower earlier on.

Taking the keys of his motorcycle which were laying on the counter before taking off to his work. Speeding off towards the café, barely being on time once he arrived there. It took about fifteen minutes to arrive. He then ran towards the back of the building and put on his apron as well as the white shirt which was also part of the uniform. Never having changed that fast, but he did it. Within a record time, he got to the front where customers already started to fill the place. He noticed the boss in the corner of his eye, laughing with how fast he was going before.

"I can take care of myself, and thanks for the color input!" The older of the two men shouted after his younger siblings retreating form. Pale hands snatched up the nice silky expensive purple tie that was resting upon the large oak wooden table. He popped his collar up as he wrapped it around his neck, tying it in a nice and neat knot- his light colored eyes landed on the bowl of fruit that was left behind. Of course he would have to pick up after the younger brother, a sigh left his full lips. He picked up the bowl, and walked over towards the pantry looking for saran wrap to cover the fruit- "Makoto, we do not have time for this!" The woman huffed out as she glanced at her watch, it was already a little past nine. A frown was now marring her beautiful pale face; her olive green eyes were narrowing while watching her client move around slower than a snail.

Once he finished wrapping the bowl up, he opened the stainless steel refrigerator placing it on the top shelf behind an unopened bottle of top brand red wine (which was a gift from his publishing company). He closed the door and was ready about to walk pass his editor- until she stopped him, fixing his collar and tie. "Without me, you would be lost..." She muttered under her breath, smoothing everything out before moving out of the way for him to finish getting ready.

He walked away from her and headed towards the long hallway, after a few more minutes of waiting he came back down the stairs with his hair slicked back, wearing a nice black silk vest and a matching black dress jacket. He fixed the sleeves by pulling them down and covering his rather expensive gold and diamond studded watch. His editor was tapping her black high heeled shoe on the flat surface by the door. Makoto grabbed his own black Italian leather dress shoes from the fancy shoe rack, dropping them down he placed his feet in them and stood up straight- looking the woman directly in her eyes, "Already- let's get going, Ayako..."

"Finally! Now we really need to get a move on! Because you have a lot to do today, and I mean- a lot!" Ayako said as she opened the front door and waited for him to go first.

Locking up the house, they both left in Ayako's nice red sports car- heading towards the meeting places that they needed to go,

stopping along the way for picking up food.

"In five, four, three, two..." The camera man pointed towards a beautiful woman with short brown hair and large brown eyes that were hiding behind large circle glasses. Her white button down shirt had a few top buttons undone- showing off a little bit of cleavage. Her long tanned legs were crossed over one another- her short black skirt hiked up slightly, exposing her tanned soft thigh's. "Hello everybody, and welcome to the Utako show!~" Cheers and clapping was heard coming from the studio audience. The woman clasped her hands together in an excited kind of way, "Today we will be joined by the amazingly gorgeous author, of the Dreamer series- Mr. Tokutaro Makoto~" She stood up clapping her hands as she saw the handsome raven haired male walk out and wave at the audience who was going absolutely crazy by seeing his charming smile. He walked up to the woman and gave her a kiss on both sides of her cheeks as she did the same. Once they pulled away she smoothed out her skirt and sat back down on the soft velvet white arm chair, while he sat across from her on a matching sofa. He ran his hand over his jacket, "It's so good to have you back!"

"It's good to be back..." He smiled softly at her, watching as she picked up some cards from a small glass table that was placed next to her. Crossing her legs once again she tapped the cards on her knee, "So, I have just read your previous book- and I must say... It was steamy!" She said in a flirty like fashion as she started to fan herself with the cards.

The audience agreed with her, Makoto laughed whole hardheartedly- leaning back in the comfortable sofa, "Well, which part?" He teased causing laughter to erupt through the room.

Chiaki awkwardly smiled back to his boss who seemed to be enjoying it even more now seeing the expression he was having on his face. Slapping himself lightly in the face to get himself to focus on the job again, he took his notebook and walked towards his section of the café where new customers were seated. The seats next to the window were the most amazing ones as one could view over the shopping street where it was situated. Colourful people walking by, dogs both small and big dressed up into their owner’s taste of fashion. Some pets even had their hair dyed in pink or blue. Well, it was cute to see but he wouldn’t do that to his own pet as he liked it more if they just stayed who they were without the unnecessary styling.

Once he arrived at the table, he flashed the group of girls a smile which made them squeal in return. He knew that it was mainly because of his appearance and his colour of hair only added up to it. Well, it wasn’t unpleasant. ”Have you already chosen what you want to have?” He asked politely, waiting for the orders to be said. Scribbling down everything on a piece of paper before repeating everything: one mont blanc, one strawberry crêpe, one castella, one daifuku mix, one sakura tea, one matcha latte and two strawberry milks. When the order matched the description, he bowed lightly towards the girls and made his way to the kitchen where he placed the note next to the others.

He had quite a lot of respect for those that worked in the kitchen as they had to keep up with everything during the rush hour. Especially when the shop would open, a lot of people would wait in front of the building as seats are limited and the shop is located in a busy area. The most busy times would be around 7am until 9am and 12pm until 2pm. After that it would calm down quite a bit as only those that quite work early would stop by or when school would be over for the day. Everybody would take a seat in the back for a few seconds before getting back to work. Some would eat lunch immediately after rush hours in order to keep themselves up from the chaos.

---

The first rush time was over and Chiaki took a seat in the kitchen together with some other employees. Having to fill in with preparations as well since one of the kitchen staff fell ill and they didn’t have anyone else to help out today. Luckily it wasn’t as busy as the other days, probably because they were on trips with the school or something but that would mean that other schools would also go on one and it would only be a matter of time before they would get to know about the shop. The mere thought of it made a chill run up his spine, rubbing the bridge of his nose in an attempt to get it out of his head.

Then suddenly, he got a cold bottle of water placed against his neck which made him jump a little, glaring at the person in question. ”You’ll seriously give me a heart attack one of these days Mio…” He muttered under his breath but took the drink anyway. Taking a sip from the liquid made him feel refreshed, running a hand through his hair so it wouldn’t get into his eyes.

"Haha, my bad!" The light colored haired male chuckled as he sat down next to the other male. Taking a small sip from his own opened water bottle, this morning was pretty hectic and he was quite glad it had died down for now. Raking his own fingers through his short silky locks he sighed softly, feeling the cold liquid slide down his throat.

He heard laughter coming from two pretty girls that worked at the café; they were huddled together giggling lightly as their eyes scanned over an ad. One girl with long blonde hair which was up in two pigtails had rushed over to the two guys,

nearly bumping into Mio and knocking his water out of his hands.

"What in the...? Tomi! You could have spilled my water on me!" He hissed through his teeth, the girl rolled her eyes and showed the guys the ad- "Isn't it great! We get to finally see Yukio Oda at this years comic con! We finally can see the man behind the Lunar Princess manga's! Can you guys believe it!" Tomi squealed in excitement, Mio blinked and chuckled at her expression.

"How will you know what he looks like? He could actually be a she!"

"How can you figure that out?" The other girl with short brown hair and light green eyes crossed her arms over her decent sized chest.

The male looked over at her and held up three fingers- "One: Nobody has seen the person behind all of those manga series! Two: Who else can write something so exotic and detailed drawings as well! Three: The name clearly sounds feminine!" He nodded his head, quite pleased with his explanation.

She shook her head causing her short hair to flutter slightly, "One of those points I can agree with you on..."

"Which is...?"

"Nobody seen the person, and besides there is one male author I could think of that can write steamy stuff..." She blushed lightly as she scratched her cheek, feeling rather embarrassed.

"Who Kimi?" Tomi asked her cousin with a curious tone of voice.

She saw Kimi look over at Chiaki and point at him- "His brother..."

"Eh? You mean Mako-san?" The blonde said rather confused why her older cousin would bring their fellow coworkers brother up.

Mio laughed while shaking his head, putting his cap back on his water bottle- "You can't be serious? I have read his books, he's not that good of an author..." He felt a harsh smack upside his head. "Ow! What the hell Kimi!" He hissed staring at the girl who had her hands in fist by her sides. "You just have poor taste in authors!" She snapped back, the light colored haired male rubbed the back of his head, feeling a bump growing there. He then turned his attention to Chiaki, "What about you? You have read his stuff right? What do you think? Pretty dumb right?"

---

It had been one busy morning for Makoto, going to different studios, doing interviews, talking with directors that want to make his books into movies, and finally here he was- at the mall, signing books at the bookstore. Flashes were going off all over the place, he felt like he was going blind from all of the pictures being taken. His hand and jaw was starting to hurt, his ass felt numb from all of the sitting he has done today.

Wave after wave of people came just to get a signed copy of his latest book- he wanted to smack his head against the black table that was covered with a soft velvet cover. His books were stacked on both sides of him and behind him- he was drowning in books! His editor was on the phone talking about this and that, more book deals, more interviews, more everything! He was trying so hard to suppress a yawn, the day was still young and he was already exhausted. After the last person left for a moment, he saw his chance to run for the food court- he was so hungry! Just to emphasize his point his stomach growled loudly, making it sound like a hungry bear was set loose among the shoppers at the mall.

Placing his forehead down on the table he felt his stomach trying to eat his arm (not literally), once Ayako got off her phone she put up a sign that said be back later- going out to lunch. "Come on, I promised your brother I would take care of you and I'm keeping that promise... Now come on..." She tried budging him but he was being stubborn, crossing her arms she huffed out a sigh. "Finnne, I'll go and eat by myself at that cute café across the street from here..." He lifted his head up and pushed himself up, composing himself and giving her a serious look. "No... I'll come too, I'm just so tired..." He grumbled under his breath, following his editor to the café.

Chiaki rolled his eyes as he took a sip from the water. Swallowing it before closing the bottle again. Listening to what the two colleagues were chattering about, humming here and there when he agreed with something or just whenever he felt like it. However when the name Yukio Oda came up, he almost choked on air as he didn’t expect that one to pop up here. Well, he was a known author so it wasn’t that much of a big deal.

At the question about liking or disliking his brother’s work, he took a pause and thought about it seriously for once. “Well, it’s alright I think. I read it once in a while when I’m bored.” He commented which made Mio smirk at him in response. “Don’t even think about saying anything about it.” He growled back at her before standing up from his seat. Mentioning that he was going back to the front as he guessed that he’d need to help out a little with the others.

The thought of his brother coming to a convention was stuck inside of his head as he was pretty worried about it. If it was indeed him that was going there, he would need to avoid him at all cost as he planned to go as Shiro from No Game No Life. Growing a little pale the more he thought about it. He wouldn’t have cared as much if he set a male costume but this was a completely different case. Being in a skirt with long blue-ish hair and knee socks. Honestly it would be a challenge on its own to avoid the author as he had a bad feeling about it if it would come to be a reality.

Suddenly a hand was swaying in front of his face which made him snap back to earth and look at the person which was Mio. The male seemed to be wondering about why Chiaki was acting this way but merely shrugged it off as it wasn’t the first time he behaved like this. Breathing deeply in and out before going back to his usual self. There weren’t too many customers at the moment and those that were here already got their orders on their table.

However when the door went open, he was met by the one and only Makoto Tokutaro, his brother. “Aniki?” He asked, not really wanting an answer on that since it was just due to the fact that he was seeing the other. Gesturing towards a table which was in a more calm place, away from the chattering of those that noticed the other. “So what brings you here? Couldn’t miss me?” He said teasingly, almost ignoring the woman who was with them as well.

"Oh, was it that obvious Otouto?" Makoto teased the younger male back, giving him one of his signature heart stopping smiles, before sitting down he buttoned his jacket and took it off, tossing it in the booth without a care in the world.

He sat down loosening his tie as well, his editor was ignoring everything around her- to busy with texting feverishly on her touchscreen phone. Ayako sat down right across from the handsome author, "Two coffee's Chiaki-kun..." She spoke up for the both of them, the whispers around the café- excited ones as people took out their phones and took pictures of the mans side profile.

Girls were giggling, staring at him with such longing stares- muttering among themselves if he has a girlfriend or something.

Hearing those hushed whispers were starting to irritate the author big time, in fact he had half the mind to tell them that he was seeing somebody, which in fact was a lie. He was currently single, due to finding out that his girlfriend was cheating on him with another guy.

It hurt a little, which was why he pushed himself to the point of near exhaustion with his work lately. Shaking his head he looked up at his little brother, "I'll have the usually and so will Ayako..." Just then a rather pretty brunette haired woman walked up, blushing shyly- she was too nervous to approach the author, glancing back at her friends who were edging her on.

Taking a deep breath, she moved next to Chiaki, "U-Um... T-Tokutaro-san... C-Can I get a picture with you?" She asked while twirling a finger around in loose strands of hair. Her outfit... Well- her chest looked like it would pop out of her shirt at any moment, her pants- or shorts were way too short...

He turned his attention on her and light colored eyes scanning her form up and down, to him she looked like a tramp... Scratching the back of his head he gave her a seductive smirk- "Sure, anything for a fan..." He said in an uneven tone of voice, which didn't match his half smile at all.

The woman giggled loudly and sat down next to him, moving rather too closely to him. He could practically smell the cheap perfume coming off her body, holding her phone up in one hand while the other was tugging his arm over her shoulders. She pressed her face close to his, smiling brightly while he forced a smile upon his face. After a few minutes of taking and retaking pictures she got up from the table and gave him a wink.

"Thank you for the pictures~" She walked away all too pleased with herself. Once she was out of ear shot he raised his hand up to his mouth and coughed- "Tramp with cheap perfume!" He coughed yet again in his hand. Makoto was usually a lot more nicer to his fans, but not to the ones who present themselves--- like that....

Chiaki rolled his eyes and nodded obviously towards his brother. “It isn’t that difficult to notice you see.” He said, gesturing towards the lurking females inside the café who were creeping him out a little. It felt like they were watching their prey and would attack at any time. He let out a deep sigh as he couldn’t believe how his brother could keep up with that all the time. At least Chiaki had an alternate identity for his cosplay persona. It was weird how different the responses could be when they saw a celebrity and when not.

However once he got pushed out of the way by some girl, he looked at her confused as he didn’t know what to expect. Did he need to throw in some defensive attacks or was it just some enthusiastic fan. But then again, it could also be a psycho who would all too likely get under Makato his skin to be the first one to read his books. He mentally slapped himself in the face for thinking that way about it. He had read about it happening but it was a rare occasion. He honestly needed to calm down a little.

After considering everything, he went away and then the flashes started to appear in the corner of his eye. He let out a sigh before placing the order in the kitchen which got prepared in a fast pace. He truly respected the staff for that sole thing to start with.

As his eyes went towards the two, he noticed one thing. The great displeasure which showed on his brother’s face. Well, it was maybe not visible to others but he knew the other all too well and with the way the man acted, it was even more obvious. It was like forcing out a smile while helping someone get their hair out of the way so they could puke freely after a heavy night out.

Eventually, he went back towards the table of his brother, hearing what he said under his breath. Not being able to stop a chuckle from escaping from his mouth. “I have to agree with you on that. A bit more and I would’ve sworn that her boobs were going to fall out. I was even going to place a bet with one of the staff about it.” He said jokingly as he placed everything on the table. Keeping his voice down so the customers wouldn’t hear it.

“So… I’ve heard you’re going to a convention for one of your manga’s?” He asked his brother, slightly curious to his answer. And perhaps praying a little for it to not be true.

"I thought she was going to suffocate me with them and her horrid perfume" Makoto said while scrunching up his nose in a distasteful like fashion, he then thanked his brother for the food and black coffee- picking up his mug he blew the top a few times before raising the cup to his lips.

Taking a small sip from it, feeling the bitter caffeine slide down his throat. The woman sitting across from him was busy multitasking; texting and eating her salad that she had ordered. He grimmest at the sight, doesn't she eat more than that? He thought while staring at Ayako for a few minutes before turning his attention back on his brother.

Looking up at him with light colored eyes, a confused expression forming within those beautiful pools- "Um... Yeah? I'm promoting the newest installment of the Lunar Princess manga... Also- I heard there was this amazing cosplay group that was going to be there..." He whispered back just so that Chiaki could be the only one to hear him.

"Not only that, but I need inspiration for my newest manga idea that I have been thinking about..." Tapping his finger against the hot mug, "I'm thinking about a BL vibe this time... What do you think?" He asked the younger male. Loving to know what his input was. He always asked his brother for advice, taking into account his ideas and thoughts.

Chiaki hummed while nodding his head, understanding where his brother came from. At conventions it was even worse as the perfume would be mixed with their sweat and make just one strong stench coming from them. People would avoid them at all cost except by those who had the same thing going on. It almost seemed like the flocked together like pigeons. At least they could’ve brought some deodorant with them.

However when his brother mentioned that he was indeed going to the upcoming convention this weekend, Chiaki’s heart dropped to his shoes. Especially since he talked about a rather famous cosplay group and there weren’t many that could go this time due to work. So he really had a bad feeling about this now as “Disaster” was one of the well-known groups that could go, if not the only one.

At the word BL, he placed one hand on his hip and thought about it. “Well, it’s quite popular these days but most of the stories are really cliché if you ask me. So if you want to make one, you should put your own twist to it and some surprising elements. Now that I think about it, you haven’t gone out with men yet haven’t you? Or at least, I haven’t seen you with one before. It was only girls.” He commented, raising an eyebrow towards Makoto.

“Well, we both know that I have some experience in it but I can only help out for a certain amount… What kind of direction do you want to go with it?” He asked curiously but then got called to another table, excusing himself before making his way. They were regular customers and liked to have a good time, a mix of both boys and girls who got into their first year of university.

One particular blonde haired male, really liked to flirt with Chiaki, being open about it to his friends who enjoyed it even more. They had an open mind though which was a good thing. He was a little stuck as the blonde one didn’t feel like letting him go just yet. They knew they weren’t allowed to touch him and had kept them to the rules for now which was a relief as he wouldn’t know what to do against five people in total.

"As far as you know, I have dated guys..." Makoto muttered after his brother's retreating form. It was true, half of the 'girls' he had dated were guys- but they only dressed that way due to the author's success and being in the spotlight nearly all of the time.

They didn't want any scandals ruining the man's reputation, a sigh left his mouth as he placed his mug down in favor of reaching over for his jacket, pulling it into his lap; rummaging through the inside pocket to take out a pen and a small notepad. Placing his prized possessions on the table, he tossed his coat to the side and opened up the notepad, clicking the bottom of the red pen and writing down some ideas he had just come up with.

"You should eat, your food is getting cold..." His editor finally spoke to him, placing her phone down finally next to her plate of food. Olive green eyes narrowing slightly, causing the author to push the notepad off to the side- picking up his fork and cutting into his hash-browns, still writing with his left hand, while his right hand was feeding him.

Just than, the door opened causing the bell above ding- signaling a customer has entered the establishment. A waitress gasped when she saw who entered, "Oh my god! You're Junren Kagari-san!" She pointed at the beautiful long wavy blonde haired woman who had sharp gold colored eyes that seemed to pierce through peoples souls. Her body was thin and curvy, a simple yet elegant looking white short dress hugged her body perfectly. The puffy sleeves were off her shoulders, straps were resting on her shoulder blades- while knee high white heeled boots shined due to the light hitting the leather.

Makoto nearly choked on his food when he heard that name, you have got to be kidding me... He turned his attention towards the door, his face turned quite pale. Ayako noticed the change in the man's demeanor, "Do you know her?" She whispered to the man who turned his head away quickly and pushed his food out of his way.

"Not a 'her', but a him..." The woman blinked her eyes a few times, glancing back over at the door- seeing as the 'woman' was heading this way, with the waitress who was talking about being a huge fan of 'her's'. Buying all of 'her' clothing lines that come out.

Heels stopped clicking as they suddenly stopped, right next to the author's table, the once bored look was soon replaced with a charming smile, "Actually- can I sit here?" 'She' gestured towards the table that was already taken, the waitress was about to say something but saw the 'woman' sit down right next to Makoto. "Um..."

"Oh, I know him... Don't worry, we dated awhile back~ Right Mako-kun~~" Kagari spoke as 'she' pinched his cheek with manicured fingers. "..." His silence said it all, excited whispers were spreading like wild fire now- the great author use to date the well known fashion designer?

"Stop pinching my face, Kagari..." He spoke in irritation, his eyebrow twitching in an annoyed fashion. The pinching stopped, but it was replaced with a hand soothing over the area- "I can't help it, you are just to handsome! Especially..." 'She' leaned over and whispered seductively in his ear, while running a hand up and down his thigh- "In the bedroom..~" He purred lowly so that Makoto was the only one to hear.

That caused an unwanted shiver to run down his spine, his hand grasped the others in a tight grip. Stopping all movement at once, "... That was four years ago... And besides... You were the one who broke my heart... So, don't get to friendly with me..." He whispered lowly so that they were the ones to hear. He released the other males hand, snatching up his notepad, pen, and jacket- his light colored eyes narrowed at the other, "Do you mind getting up, I have more books to sign..." His tone was even and flat, so unlike his usually upbeat self.

Running into an ex was not his idea of a good day, Kagari sighed softly moving from the booth and smoothing out his dress. Once it was clear for him to move, the dark haired male slid out and reached in his back pocket- taking his wallet out and throwing some bills down on the table.

He looked at the waitress who was watching the interaction in silence, "Could you have this bagged to go?" He asked her politely, watching her nod her head- he gave her a smile before moving around his ex. However, he was stopped by a hand grabbing his arm.

"Makoto... We really need to talk about what happened..."

Prying off the other males hand from his arm, "Why would I want to bring up old memories? You broke my heart... There is nothing more we can discuss..." He dropped his hand and walked away feeling slightly tense.

But only stopped by where his brother was standing at, whispered lowly in his ear, "I'm going to be late coming home tonight..." He said before walking out of the cafè. Ayako sighed softly- so now she knows where one of the character's from his books came from. And what does he mean that the other broke his heart? How did that happen? She was really curious and wanted to find out.

Kagari frowned softly, he supposed he deserved the harsh treatment. But he really wanted to talk, to apologize for what he has done- this was part of the reasons why he returned back to Japan. "On second thought, could I order something to go?" The waitress nodded her head and wrote down what the fashion designer wanted.

He glanced towards the door that was opened, revealing a pretty blonde woman. She was tall and had a great aura around her as if she was someone important. His eyes locked onto the figure of the female before hearing whispers of her being indeed a famous person. A fashion designer on top of that. His eyes widened when he heard her occupation as it had to do something with his own interests. Making clothes wasn’t easy as they had to put quite some time and effort into it. As well as blood, sweat and tears for it to be fabricated.

But he was pulled by the arm by the blonde male who had a now more annoyed expression on his face. Confusing Chiaki as he hadn’t been touched by the other before. Well that was what he had thought. “You sure are cruel for forgetting about me. Don’t you remember me?” The male spoke, letting out a deep sigh as he didn’t get a response.

Barely hearing what his brother whispered as he didn’t know where to focus on at the moment besides the blonde male in front of him. He gave the order to one of the other waiters as the guy asked to talk somewhere more private. He didn’t feel anything dangerous about him and his voice was genuine as well. Nodding as he followed the other outside calmly, gesturing towards Mio that it was fine and he didn’t need any help.

“Seriously… I’ve been coming to this café so many times already and you’ve never wondered about me at least once?” Chiaki paused for a moment to think about it and smiled awkwardly for his response: “Well, I kind of thought you were somebody with too much time on his hands. I mean, you always come with a group of people and wanted to do some jokes on me while you were at it?” The answer seemed to have astonished the other as he couldn’t say anything immediately.

However after a few seconds, the male started laughing, rubbing through the back of his head. “Sorry about that. I was a little pissed since you didn’t recognize me. I’m Rintaro Wakazima. We used to hang out but we went to other schools in high school. We were pretty close actually.” The guy said, making Chiaki his eyes widen as one of the memories came back to him. “Wah… It’s really been a while, how’s it with the goldfish?” “Good. We bought three new ones and we have a cat as well called Snow.” “Really? I don’t have any because we don’t have the time to take care of it. Perhaps I’ll come over sometime.” The two of them had quite some to catch up with and the boss found out as Chiaki stayed away for a bit too long. Getting the day off since it seemed like there wouldn’t be too many customers coming anymore today.

Quickly getting changed before strolling through the streets, on his way to the mall. “I’ve heard from one of the members of Disaster that you’re the famous Yuu. I didn’t expect it that you’d make it this far.” “They surely can’t keep their mouth shut about that huh… Well, it took a lot of patience and effort to become like this. But keep it a secret as I don’t want to be recognized outside of conventions. I’ve seen my brother and it’s just too much to handle with.” Rintaro nodded understandingly, patting Chiaki his shoulder as they entered the mall.

“I’ve been doing cosplay too for the past two years. It’s not as good as yours but I like the vibe that it gives. And when they recognize the character you do, it’s even better. Ah but I want to go over to the gaming store first. They released a new one that I really want to play.” Rintaro said, dragging Chiaki along with him. Passing a crowd that was gathered somewhere in the middle, seemingly waiting for someone to arrive. Perhaps someone that would come to sign, an author, a singer, etc. Who knew.

His wrist was let go off once they arrived at the shop. Looking at all the games being displayed, some familiar, some weren’t. His eyes stopped on one particular game of Danganronpa. He had seen the anime before and wondered about how the game would be like. Yet he wasn’t urged to buy it and just merely looked at the back side of it before putting it back in place.

After that, they went into a cosplay shop which was next door. And there he saw one of the other cosplays he had been wanting to do. But since it was pretty revealing he wasn’t too sure about it. Also being of the anime Danganronpa, the character was called Junko Enoshima. The costume was hanging right in front of him. It wouldn’t be self-made but high school uniforms could be found anywhere so it would be a hassle if he had to make those too. He nodded and checked for his size as he decided to cosplay it sometime. He already had the accessories and wig at home but he never did much with it. He guessed he might go for it as well now.

Luckily Rintaro was at the other side of the shop as he paid for his stuff, meeting him back outside without showing the contents of the bag. They hung out for a little while longer, doing some sightseeing in the mall but nothing caught their eye so they wouldn’t go inside the store. Eventually they took a break and sat down on some kind of circular bench with a plant in the middle. Sipping from their bubble tea while talking about work and in Rintaro his case university.

Returning back to the mall was a hassle, the nerve of his ex showing his face after four years of no communication, and then out of nowhere want's to talk? Makoto snorted as he shook his head, jacket clutched tightly in his grasp.

However- "Look! There he is!" Somebody from the very large crowd said, pointing at the author- his face gone pale for the second time that day. There must be about six hundred people waiting for their copies to be signed, taking a step back he turned around on his heel and bolted for it. That was when the trouble started, the mob of people were chasing after him demanding that he signs their copy.

"Sorry, um... Maybe some other time!" He yelled over his shoulder at the over enthusiastic fans. Unaware that he had ran pass his brother, jumping over a bench with no problem what so ever, "Just sign my book!" The crowd yelled after the man who was dodging others, weaving in and out of people- he turned a corner and disappeared from sight.

By standers were looking on in amusement, taking out phones and recording what was happening around them. It took Makoto seven minutes to lose the crowd of people- emerging from a nearby shop he sighed deeply, holding his chest. Never in his whole entire life was he terrified of his fans, how on earth did it get so crowded like that? He was only gone for an hour and a half!

Looking around to see if the close was clear--- "There he is!" Somebody shouted causing even more running foot steps to be heard. His light colored eyes widened, did that crowd get bigger?! "Ah... Shit..." He cursed under his breath bolting for it yet again, running pass the younger men once more.

Where in the hell was mall security when you need them! He darted in a different store this time, it was a swimsuit store- he jumped over the counter, shocking the women working the cash register. He placed his finger to his lips and begged them to call mall security, after promising them a free signed copy of his newest book. Agreeing they did just that, exhaling deeply- trying to catch his breathe.

He texted Ayako saying to cancel the remaining book signings today. After this he rather curl up in his bathtub and drink that red wine in the refrigerator, actually- that idea didn't seem that bad at all...

"The close is clear.~" The store manager said in a sing song tone of voice, looking down at her favorite author sitting with his back against the counter. He looked up at her and smiled sweetly at her, "Thank you... And sorry for troubling you..." She giggled and shook her head, causing her loose black strands wiggle with her movement.

"It's no problem at all! Just remember your end of the deal.~" He nodded his head, standing up slowly, looking around- sighing softly.

"Of course, but um... to be on the safe side, can I go out from the back?" The woman nodded her head and showed him to the back door, giving him the names of the workers and her name as well. Makoto wrote them down in his notepad. Thanking her once more, he walked out of the door and out to the back of the mall- calling Ayako to come and get him from the back of the mall.

A few minutes of waiting for the woman, she pulled up and rolled down her passenger side window- "You could have went out the front..."

"Like hell I could... You didn't see the crazy mob that tried to jump me for my autograph!" He snapped back, walking up to the door and opening it up- moving the packed up food into the back as he sat down. Closing the door, buckling up as the car started to move away from the backside of the mall, he leaned in the comfortable white leather seat.

Rubbing his face with his hands, feeling tired and irritated. He was glad to hear that the rest of the events were canceled for the evening. Good, he could just relax when he gets home.

As a crowd of people started running in one direction as if they had set their eyes on their prey, Chiaki couldn’t do anything but to just stare at them. It mainly consisted of women and here and there some men who were really bad at running. It hurt his eyes just watching them do their best but failing to do so. It must’ve been due to the celebrity that came to the mall, otherwise he wouldn’t have a clue as to why they would’ve reacted that way.

Taking the last sip from his drink, he looked back to his old friend. Having noted that he was studying medicine in university after changing courses completely. He was first going for economics but it didn’t interest the guy at all. Well, it was a nice choice as Chiaki wouldn’t have been able to keep it up if he didn’t like it in the first place. His hair was being ruffled through, making him chuckle in response to the other’s touch. “Well, I’ll see you on the convention than? And it’s really weird that we’re cosplaying characters from the same anime. Can’t wait to see the finished outfit.” Chiaki said to the other.

With that, they said their goodbyes and Chiaki was left by himself. He didn’t like being by himself but he had gotten so used to it that he didn’t mind so much anymore. His parents that were constantly somewhere else and his brother who did the same. It wasn’t unusual for him to be the only one at home. He’d watch movies or play some games to keep himself busy as making costumes wasn’t an everyday business. He sometimes needed material he didn’t have so he would need to wait until he saved up enough.

If he remembered correctly, he remembered that his brother was going to get home late today so he wouldn’t need to hurry. Nor would he need to prepare a meal as the guy would probably eat out or something like usual. The fire in his eyes died out a little as he was by himself, getting a more cool aura around him as if he was used to fighting. Which he was. He had never told his family before but he had gotten in a lot of trouble and got wounds over his body that could be hidden. Sometimes he had a scratch or bruise on his face but brushed it off as running into a door made of glass or some other excuse.

The main reason for it was because of his popularity which was at its best in high school. Not everybody liked it and had to let it out on him, feeling threatened by his presence alone. Sometimes he would just skip school after calling one of the teachers, saying that he felt ill. Luckily they believed him and let him of the hook as it didn’t happen too much. Those days, he just wanted to get rid of all the messed up feelings that he was having. Slowly he learned to deal with it by learning martial arts and keeping himself coolheaded. It was tough but it was his only way to go through it. After he defended himself, his ‘attackers’ got a different view on him and the fights got less and less until they almost completely stopped.

Slowly making his way back towards his house as he didn’t feel like hurrying. His eyes staring through the people as if he wasn’t looking at them at all. Buying a bento box with some dumplings in a convenience store while he was at it. And then as if he had been asking for it, it started raining. Fantastic. He didn’t have an umbrella with him either so he had to fasten up his pace a little bit. His rosy eyes were almost completely covered by the strands of hair that stuck to his face. Opening the front door of the house and closing it behind him. His clothes, hair, everything was dripping wet due to the sudden downpour. Letting out a sigh before moving to the kitchen where he put down his bag of food. Leaving a trail of small puddles.

Windshield wipers were moving quickly, trying to clear the visual sight for the driver of the nice black sports car. It was quiet between the two of them, Makoto was staring outside of his window with a contemplating look crossing over his face.

Glancing over at the man sitting next to her, Ayako decided to go for the kill and ask the man about his ex. "So, what is the deal between you and Junren Kagari-san?" Freezing at the name he exhaled softly, rubbing his forehead with his thumb and middle finger.

"... He's my ex... That's all you need to know..." He muttered bitterly, cutting the conversation at the knees. Confusion crossed over her face as she stopped at a red light, the only sounds in the car was the rain falling and the ticking of the turning signal.

"What did he do to you?" She tried again- once again she noticed his shoulders tensing up, his grip on the jacket that was in his lap tightened to the point where his knuckles were turning white.

"Let it go, Ayako..." He spoke bitterly, he was so temped to just exit out of the car and walk home since it was only a few blocks from where they were at.

The woman shook her head, turning to the left when the light turned green- "Makoto... Please... Forget about me being your editor for a minute and consider me as a friend..." She spoke softly, trying to coax him out of his closed up shell.

"..... He broke my heart, used me to boost his own career and then left... He was nothing but a user..." His sharp gaze moved over to look at her.

"Is that what you wanted to hear?" He asked bitterly, Ayako tensed up as she finally heard the reason behind why he was acting the way he did earlier. Once they pulled up to the driveway, Makoto got out of the car after unbuckling his seat belt and reaching behind him, grabbing the brown bag from the backseat.

"... Are you mad at me?" She asked watching his movements, he ignored her before slamming the door in her face. For the first time ever, she cringed at the loud sound. Apparently she had just opened up some old wounds, due to the unreadable expression on his face- jogging up to the front door, he maneuvered his coat in his other arm as he reached behind him and took his keys out, grabbing the door knob and unlocked it.

Walking into the house and closing the door harshly behind him, causing the pictures on the wall to rattle- kicking off his shoes he placed them in the shoe rack. Noticing another pair of shoes just laying freely by the door, shaking his head he picked them up and placed them were they belonged.

Locking up the house, his light colored turned towards the floor, seeing a small puddle leading towards the kitchen. Raising an eyebrow up- he followed the water puddles, once he turned the corner still looking at the water on the floor. Finally reaching the kitchen, he placed the paper brown bag down on the counter, along with his coat. "So, instead of bread crumbs I followed a trail of water puddles?" He teased the younger male, holding up his now freed up hands quieting him before he said anything. "I canceled all of my other plans, I did not want to relive what happened at the mall!"

An unwanted shiver ran down his body, just hearing those shouts and yells... Shaking his head vigorously, shaking off some water droplets that managed to get stuck in his hair. He walked around the marble counter top and grabbed a hand towel from the bar that was attached to the oven, unfolding it as he reached up and started to ruffle the younger males hair, trying to dry it.

"Honestly, Chia- you talk about me needing to be looked after..." Makoto's light blue eyes narrowed slightly, big brother instincts were starting to kick in when he noticed how soaking his brother was. "You look like a wet dog... Go upstairs, take a bath and change!" He said finally placing the towel down.

Noticing the bento in the corner of his eyes, he shook his head. "I'll put that away and make you a good homemade dinner, now go do what I asked..." He turned the younger male around and pushed him out of the kitchen. "Also, when you are done with your bath- clean up the water puddles! We don't want anybody slipping and falling!"

Staring out in front of him, looking at nothing as he was standing in the dark room. Not having bothered to even switch on the light, making do with the natural light coming from outside. Drops of water running over his face, rolling over his cheeks, chin, some of them making their way down his chest. He couldn’t even feel the cold anymore due to being soaked. He didn’t care about it either as it wasn’t the first time for him to come home this way.

When he was in high school, it was a regular occurrence on rainy days. Forgetting his umbrella from time to time or having lost it due to getting into a fight with others who couldn’t stand him. Sometimes he just couldn’t be bothered and went home just like that, ignoring his teachers yelling behind him to use their umbrella’s instead. It wasn’t like anyone would care about him now that he was soaked so why would he need to then. Weirdly enough, he didn’t get sick a lot due to him having a strong immune system. Being both a bless as well as a curse.

It was just like today. Nobody was waiting for him at home, the same empty house that he was used to. They only got home when he was already in bed, about to fall asleep anytime soon. He just kept himself awake to hear the door opening and closing as it was the signal that there was someone in the house. The soft creaks the stairs made as they would make their way up, the soft whispers in order to not wake him up. Only then, he let himself fall asleep.

Once the lights were suddenly switched on, Chiaki didn’t move. His eyes still looking out of the window as if he was searching for something. Then his hair was being rubbed by a towel, making his head move slightly due to the sudden movements. It was like he froze on the spot, without a glance of life to be seen in his body.

When the towel was put down, being pushed forward and the mentioning of his brother making food, his eyes made their way up and looked straight into those of Makoto. Turning his body towards the other to face him straight on. “No need. I bought them already and they’d be bad tomorrow. It’s not like this is the first time I’ve done this so you don’t need to worry.” He responded back monotonously towards his brother.

Turning back around and taking a few steps before stopping. “Make some for her if you feel lonely. She went through the trouble to get you here, didn’t she? So just leave me be like you used to.” He said, a bitter tone in his voice now as he made his way to the bathroom. Not even bothering to bring the towel ,that his brother used, with him. He only brought the bag from the convenience store with him.

Placing the bag of food on his desk before going into the bathroom which was just across. Getting into the shower after tossing his clothes to the side. Letting the warm water run over him for a few minutes, washing himself up and then going straight to his room as he didn’t feel like going back downstairs. Dropping himself onto the bed, he took out his phone and started looking at some videos while stuffing a dumpling in his mouth now and then.

Watching his little brother walk away and out of sight from the kitchen, Makoto felt conflicted- he thought his brother would be happy to see him home. But instead he got the cold shoulder from the younger male, furrowing his eyebrows together in confusion- what did he mean by leaving him alone like he use to? The older of the two brothers didn't understand, than again- as they got older they drifted apart.

When they were younger, they were inseparable- always sticking to each other like glue. However, when Makoto got older he became more involved in working on writing and drawing along with dating, he rarely had the time to hang out with the younger male.

Hell, Chiaki had shown his displeasure more than once when he introduced his girlfriends/ boyfriends. "Ah, damn..." He covered his mouth with his hand, a surprised look crossing over his face. Even now he caught the bitterness the other had in his tone when he mentioned Ayako, but didn't mention her name.... Not to mention he ignored her when they were at the café...

Shaking his head he dropped his hand from his mouth, running it over his hair- Everything made sense... But, how can he make it up to the younger male? He knew he couldn't bring all of that time back that they had lost- all of the times he had made the other feel unwanted... Unloved... In fact that was the complete opposite, he loved his brother deeply and with his whole heart...

Eyes widening even more as it finally hit him like a ton of bricks. Why he couldn't keep a relationship... Why he couldn't love somebody with his whole being, even though he has had his heart broken- but not shattered. Was that why he based some of his stronger characters off of? Was it because of his brother? Realizing the pain he caused the other made him feel like the worlds worst big brother. Shaking those thoughts off he picked up the towel, first things first- he had to clean the water up.

Once he finished drying the floor, he heard the sound of a car driving away. So much for inviting her in, but he was still pissed at her for bringing up bad memories. Sighing softly, he started to walk up the stairs- rubbing his neck, his whole body felt sore and stiff. However, a shower could wait... He had to talk to his brother, finally reaching the top of the stairs he walked towards Chiaki's room with heavy footsteps.

Makoto inhaled deeply, raising his hand up he knocked on the door lightly with his knuckle. "Chia, can I come in? We need to talk..." His tone was soft, way too soft almost like he was whispering. He just hoped the younger male will let him in.

As he was laying there, the scar on the right side of his tummy became more visible. It was on a rather hidden place as mostly nobody would pay attention to that part of his body. If his arms were down, they would cover it as well. It was not that he actually tried to hide it but he didn’t feel like telling anyone about it either. It was already in the past anyway, one that he didn’t want to go back to due to the problems it consisted of. Especially the fights that occurred now and then, he wanted to forget about them.

His finger tapped on a video which was showing some gameplay of the game Overwatch. Reviewing some funny fails or actual good tactics from teams. He had been playing the game for a while now too and it was nice to see what others could do with the heroes in it. Still having a lot to learn as he merely started it about two months ago. It was a nice way to pass time and talk to people who had the same interest as him. They let him think about something else instead of his home situation which wasn’t that splendid to begin with. Yes, they weren’t poor. But money couldn’t buy human affection.

As he heard a knocking on his door, he glanced slightly to the side and huffed. “It’s open.” He responded to the other, focusing back on the small screen in front of him. Munching on another dumpling after saying so. They weren’t that bad actually, though he missed the juicy part of it which was near to non-existent with these. In restaurants they had some kind of soup in them as well which was the best part of it. The flavour of the meat would come in afterwards, making it a good dish.

“What is it?” He asked Makoto, not really feeling like it was something important that his brother had to tell. Once again, he didn’t bother putting on a shirt, only some sweatpants which was the most comfortable for him. There were light outlines of muscle that he had been building up over the years. Mainly due to him practising martial arts which now turned into visits to the gym. He felt like keeping his body fit for the cosplays he did. It was maybe a dumb reason but that way he had the courage to keep going.

Releasing the inhaled breath, reaching forwards towards the door knob- turning it and entered the room once he was given permission to do so. Closing it behind him, Makoto walked over towards his brothers bed and sat down on the edge of it; just like he use to when he would talk to the younger male.

Loosening his tie, he began to speak, "Listen- I know we haven't been close to each other over the coarse of seven years and I know we can't get that time back... But..." He looked over at Chiaki who was ignoring him, sighing softly he leaned back slightly on his brother's bed, the weight dipping somewhat under his hand. "I'm really sorry, if I have ever made you feel alone... That was never my intentions..."

Moving a little bit more closely to the younger male, he placed his free hand on his back. A frown crossed over his face as he felt how cold the others back was, running it up and down slowly- trying to warm him up, even if it was only by a little bit. "I care about you... And I will do anything you ask... Just say it and I'll do... As long as it makes you happy..." The words left his mouth in a non-stop matter.

It was like he was finally opening up, after so many years of being distant. The frown that was on his face deepened when his light colored eyes noticed the scar on the younger males body. Moving the hand that was rubbing the males back to the area, "When did this happen...? Chiaki... How many more of these do you have?" Makoto's voice dropped a few octavos as his fingers ghosted over the marking.

Chiaki took a spoonful of stirred rice which had crispy vegetables in it, chewing on it carefully as he heard his brother entering his room. His video ended, so he clicked on the next one that was on the side. This one was about all the fails of pro players of the game which was pretty hilarious. Especially if they were just going in for the fun and didn’t care about the score. Their mistakes were hilarious to say the least, for those who knew the game.

As the other began speaking, he couldn’t help but listen to the words that came out of his mouth. The male seemed to truly regret the fact that he had put aside his only sibling, but he wasn’t the only one to blame. Their parents set the example. Yet, he still couldn’t let go of the loneliness he had to go through for years. Nobody waiting at home was the worst feeling a kid could have at a young age. Not being able to say anything about it either as he barely got the chance to and if he would talk to them, they would only nag about his grades in school.

Feeling the others hand on his back, confused as to why he was being touched this way right now. Especially since he wasn’t wearing a shirt at the moment so he could feel it more clearly. Though when his scar was touched, he placed his phone to the side and groaned in response to the other.

With that, he turned around and pushed the other down on his bed, glaring right towards the other as he was straddling him. “This is nothing, it’s in the past anyway. Why? You never noticed it before despite me having it for years already?” He said in a rather bored tone this time. Placing his hands on both sides of his brother’s head. “You’re a bit too late for asking about it, aniki.” His face was brought close to the other, yet still had a reasonable distance between them.

He pushed himself up after a few seconds of holding that position, sitting down on his bed, with his back against the wall. “If that’s what you wanted to say, you’re free to go now.”

Makoto laid there in utter shock, his legs were off of the side of the bed- his feet were placed firmly on the ground. He felt the urge to pull the younger male down and kiss him until he couldn't breath, but he should know better than to have those impure thoughts.

Staying in that spot for a moment longer, feeling the weight get lifted off of him, he pushed himself up slowly. "You're right... I should have noticed that a long time ago... And I truly am sorry..." He turned towards his younger brother, moving his long legs up on the bed.

He closed the small distance between them, back hunching in a small curve down,as he placed his hands on both sides of Chiaki's head. His body blocking the others means of escape, "Tell me, Otouto how can I fix this?" He whispered softly, his face only inches away from his younger brothers face.

This was heading into the one zone he has been avoiding for so long- however, there was no turning back at this point, at least... Not for him. "Chiaki, tell me..." The way he said the younger males voice was low and boarding on the line of seduction.

When he got now trapped between the wall and his brother, Chiaki slightly panicked for a moment as he hadn’t been like this before with Makoto. His eyes, slightly more widened than usual, looked at the other’s face in confusion. Not knowing what to expect as they were siblings and they shouldn’t be doing this kind of thing. Yet there was this attraction that he couldn’t explain.

Being asked about how to get their relationship fixed was one thing, but saying it in that kind of voice was another. His mind was going wild, trying desperately to search for an answer until it finally got to one. It was ridiculous to the point of thinking it was a sick joke but he couldn’t think about another explanation for his brother’s behaviour.

A confused expression turned into a more mocking one, having a smirk on his lips as he watched Makoto. “Well, I first wanted to ask why but since you’re acting this way, you’re giving me two options here as to why you avoided me. Or you have the hots for me or you’re just messing around since you have nothing better to do now. So you tell me… which one is it? Or am I completely wrong?” He asked, his voice mocking Makoto slightly. But in reality he just wanted to know the true reason as to why he was left alone.

His heart oddly enough started to beat faster due to the close distance with his brother and due to the tension that was hanging in the air. He then let out a laugh as he thought it was weird himself, ruffling through his hair awkwardly. Now he was the one that avoided eye contact with his brother.

Chuckling lowly in his throat as he watched his younger brother struggle with the different emotions hanging in the air. Leaning over towards the exposed ear before him, he whispered lowly in his ear- "You are right, I do have the hots for you, a lot longer than you will ever know..." He blew a warm breath against Chiaki's ear.

Pulling back slightly to stare at the younger male, he removed one of his hands from the wall and gripped his chin lightly between his thumb and index finger. Lifting his head up just a little bit, "To be honest- I have been holding myself back since we were teenagers... That was why I avoid you..." Makoto's light blue eyes were narrowed slightly, as if regretting ever leaving his younger brother alone.

"I was unsure of how I felt until I was 20..." He sighed before letting his chin go and moving back on his heels, lessening the distance between them, but not a whole lot, just some... That's when a thought accrued to him, "What about you? Because you acted jealous every single time I brought somebody over! And even today you ignored Ayako! So, start explaining!" He asked in a mocking tone right on back, two could play this game and he knew for a fact that his brother didn't like being put on the spot like he currently was.
