What do you prefer? [BL/YAOI]

So I was wondering what you guys prefer in terms of yaoi?

 

Soft, mild shonen ai or maybe hardcore explicit yaoi?

 

I like both to be honest. But I do prefer the cute stuff. I'm a fan of sweet, wholesome relationships lol

So sex scenes aren't really all that important to me when I'm deciding whether I like a story or not.

But if I have to choose between fluffy cute and hardcore explicit then I got for the explicit one.

Fluffy stories are ok, but I do want to see some action. If it's only text and nothing else I'm getting bored soon.

They do make a nice change of pace sometimes though.

But if I had to chose between the explicit (Yaoi) or cute (Shonen Ai), I'll go with the second.

The reason is simple; I'm a romantic person at heart hehe

I reaally like everything that's romantic and cute/adorable.

I like seeing the romance and see the character actually dating.

Not only having sex, not that it's not great to see though.

But I enjoy and read both as much hehe

I love a mix of both, so long as there's a few kisses or more in it. I read more yaoi than shounen ai but that's more because I don't know many shounen ai.

For me it doesn't matter, as long as the story is good (as i've always said xD). It can have hardcore yaoi or not, as long as the story gets my attention enough to wanna read the next page, then im good anyway.

I guess I'm fine as long as both the plot and characterization are decent. Great flow is a bonus I'm not particular with smut but I'm super weak against fluff and cute interactions so that's that~
