The merman sees the guy as his mate and the guy grows to return his affections. Unfortunately, the guy works for a research facility full of crooked scientists. Eventually the guy and the merman mate and it results in the guy being changed into a merman as well. In the end the couple gets released into the ocean and live happily ever after. (Possibly making merbabies. I dunno. xD) Its been years so my memory is pretty foggy. :8onion74:
