why did they stop making ai no kusabi remake

I saw the movie and I just saw the ai no kusabi episodes and I really like the intro and the drawings, they look better than the original and I personally never read the books so this show makes much more sense to me because it can add more details slowly instead of putting it into one big movie

i've only just discovered Ai no Kusabi & watched both the original OVAs x 2, & the 4 eps remake. verdict: LOVE IT!

but too bad the remake got cancelled... hopefully it'll be picked up again. i read somewhere that it was supposed to be a 12eps project but due to financial reasons, it stopped at 4. boo!

sooooooooo, to complete my Ai no Kusabi obsession, i'm now reading the books

I read all the books after watching the movie and the show and the books are really good. The movie makes more sense to me
