Virdian* Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Hey there, I have a signature which has two edges that are cut off from transparency. You can still see a bit of the edges, though, therefore it's not 100% transparent. Is there any way to get this full transparent, so you don't see the signature as a rectangular? Best regards Virdian*
Virdian* Posted October 4, 2015 Author Posted October 4, 2015 It's actually just my current signature Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. When you have a closer look-up on it, you"ll notice, it is not 100% transparent, in contrast to your signature. But it definetely has that transparency on it.
Saga Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Yes. Now I see it both on the separate link and on here. There is a trick I often use when my graphics get too big, since I am a maniac for quality, I find gif's and optimized png's...nerve-wracking. The template in this signature part on every theme has for color #161616. I use it for images too big for png, but yet lovely quality on jpg (although not transparent but the trick does its work anyhow). When you want a perfect transparency for your graphic, always put a layer under the rest of your signature layers. This single layer should be either white or dark gray, which will help you spot any non-transparent part. I turn it on and off, when working. I see it is made by someone else so no idea if I can offer you a reedit on Photoshop. If you have an image editing program, delete the non-transparent edges and save as either gif or png. Though, I heard there are sites that 'extract' the image and make it transparent. You might google around and find one, I've never used such.
Virdian* Posted October 6, 2015 Author Posted October 6, 2015 Hm, it didn't quite work out like I planned it to be. I don't know if you want to try to edit it, but otherwise I just have to live with it. I'll send you the link to the PSD via PM.
Virdian* Posted October 7, 2015 Author Posted October 7, 2015 Ok, I think I can live with this ^^ Although I still believe there are some strange edges, must be my imagination D: Anyway, thanks for the help, Saga!
