The app should provide push notifications, which I can't test at the moment, since they don't seem to work for me. It probably is a temporary issue from Tapatalk.

 

Note: For those who want to use a dark theme, click on Profile (the 4th button at the bottom of the screen) then on Settings (the circle in the top right corner) and check 'Use Dark Mode':

 

Note 2: As of now, the app doesn't support the chat system.
