Life was a challenge. Nothing was ever easy. No turn was ever predicted. And no offer was ever promised. No one knew that better than Kamui Aoi.

 

The young growing Idol had never had things easy. From having to spend his childhood dealing with his parents arguing to the ultimate divorce in their relationship. The child had had to experience fights no little boy should have had to watch. In most cases, it would have damaged spirits and hearts. Tainting them, making them detached and cruel.....However that was not the case for Aoi.

 

Ever since he could walk and talk, he dreamed of being a Singer. You see, Aoi was born with a gift of voice. His voice was beautiful and many loved listening to the child show it off during times of peace in his short life. And as people loved hearing him, Aoi loved performing for them. It made his little heart swell with pride and love at seeing the amazement in their expressions and the adoration in the face of his mother. No matter how many years passed, Aoi's feelings for music....his love for it remained the same.

 

That being said, when his talent reached the attention of the head master of a music school, Aoi was quick to accept his offer to join. From there, the years seemed to go by quickly. From the moment he first stepped into the school for young talents, to the moment he met his manager and left the school. Aoi's fame grew after the boy's first debut and his manager thought he had a great journey waiting ahead of him.

 

However that didn't mean everything would be easy.

 

Sighing softly to himself, Aoi bent down to retrieve a can of hot coffee that he had just purchased from the vending machine in front of him. Currently, he found himself amongst the many halls of an Entertainment Building. At the moment he was taking a brief break from recording a few of his newest songs while his manager discussed a few things with the other's involved in the album's creation.

 

They had been at it for what seemed like hours and Aoi was tired, however, he would not voice his compliments. If there was one thing the boy liked to be above all else, that was a perfectionist. If things weren't done a perfectly as they could be, Aoi would not be satisfied with it. Even it meant pushing himself past his limits, Aoi wanted things to come out great.

 

That was perhaps why his manager insisted that they remained there during the past few hours.

 

Blue eyes closed tiredly for a second before blinking open once more with a small hint of annoyance in them. Sinking into an available chair across from the vending machines, the long haired boy released a soft sigh and shook his head in exasperation.

 

They still had work to do, he couldn't allow himself to give up just yet. Popping open the can, Aoi took a sip out of the coffee as he pulled out his phone and began to look through a few of the messages there.

“Tilt your head a bit to the left” the photographer said.

Obeying the photographer, he tilted his head.

“Perfect” he said and took the shot.

 

Haru had modeled ever since he could remember. His mom had always pushed him in that direction, and as a kid he had had no choice in the matter. At first he hadn’t liked it very much, but eventually he grew into it.

 

The photographer took the remaining photos he needed for the job.

“We’re done for today” he said.

“We better hurry, it’s only 30 minutes to the next photoshoot” his manager said a bit panicked.

Haru sighed. Being a photo model was hectic, he never had a moment where he had free time. It was always a photoshoot, interview, meeting with fans or something of the like. It wasn’t as if he didn’t enjoy his job, but he wished that there was time were he could just be himself. Just be Haru, and not the famous model.

 

Another sigh escaped his lips as he stepped into the spacey limousine.

“Are you okay?” his manager asked, feeling concerned.

With a light smile plastered on his lips he answered that she didn’t have to worry about him.

She gave him a doubtful look but didn’t say anything.

 

With his headphones playing Aoi’s newest single, he leaned back and tried to relax the way to the next photoshoot.

"Aoi" the voice of his manager snapped the young Idol out of his internal musings.

 

Looking up from his pointless gazing at the floor, Aoi quickly schooled his features into an affectionate smile before saying "Sousuke.....sorry, have I taken to long? I got lost in thought for a few minutes it seems"

 

His manager returned the smile with a slightly smaller one of his own as he replied "You're fine, don't worry about it, kid. I just came to tell you we're wrapping recordings up for this morning. I gotta take you downstairs for a photo shot with some model. It's for the magazine that insisted you pose with someone for them. After that, we need to go to the east side of the building to finish the first half of your music video".

 

"Got it" Aoi answered, nodding his head in understanding. Getting up from his chair, the singer stretched his arms over his head and released a slightly weary exhale.

 

"Don't worry kid, we're almost done for today" Sousuke reassured his Idol.

 

Aoi nodded again, flashing his manager a grin as he followed the man down the hall towards the elevators.

 

The trip down to the floor where the modeling would be taking place wasn't long. In fact, they had plenty of time to relax a bit and talk with a few of the photographers and makeup artists while they waited for Aoi's partner in the shoot to show up.
