The law of the country: Sex outside of wedlock must only be undertaken with your own gender Sex with a women must only be in wedlock Marriage can only take place between opposite genders All must marry before their 40th birthday Sow what happens when a follower of these laws meets the man who has fallen for him? Can they survive the onslaught of the country against them? Can one even convince the other not to marry? His writer had yet again failed to produce the manuscript on time! This always happened and he was always left with the same conundrum: whether to put up with it because of the income, after all the guy was a superb writer, or to quit and find another writer that wouldn't make his life a chore. He sighed complaining yet again to the bar woman about his writer. He frequented this bar often so he knew the lady quite well. She was a lovely person, 32. Married of course. He sighed. His work wasn't his only problem; 39 and unmarried, another ten months and he would be breaking the law. He understood the laws, everyone did. But that didn't mean it wasn't complicated and difficult! The laws had first been implemented in order to stop the obscene amounts of pregnancies and then the large numbers of people depending on the few working. This system worked. luka19 Posted February 7, 2015 Share Posted February 7, 2015 I threw the papers on my desk away glaring at everyone in my office as they left. Oh how I hated work when everyone was in chaos trying to get there manuscript's in on time. I stood up and grabbed my jacket heading down to the bar closest to the office so I could just go there, get drunk and pass out in my office again. I sat at the bar drinking deeply glancing over seeing one of my employees sitting there, I tried to remember his name but it was coming to me. I shrugged turning around drinking more. I was 36 at the top of one of the highest company's and unmarried, I still had a lot of time before I needed to be wed, not that my parents weren't pushing me to wed sooner. "Cheer up some gorgeous girl will land at your feet soon and you'll be happier than ever!" Her voice was loud and reverberated through the bar drawing attention to herself and through her to Shen. He rolled his eyes. If he didn't find someone soon he would resort to blind dates, not something he wanted to do. "Do you mind, you are drawing attention, you do realise that it's weird for a 39 year old not to be married!" Although his efforts were in vain by now ears were pricked all around the bar wanting to listen in on their conversation. Not wanting people to know his age, it was embarrassing after all, he downed the drink and slammed it back onto the table. "What am I doing it's Saturday night! I'm going out!" He smiled and winked at the women who just laughed "Make sure you don't wake up in your own bed okay Shen!" She called after him as he left the bar still debating whether to go and socialise with women or hit another bar and find some sexy guy to have a good time with before he sorted his life out tomorrow. He loosened his tie undoing another button of his shirt. He fumbled with it not looking where he was going. He was just about to exit when he suddenly, not having been looking where he was going, slammed straight into another man. "Ahh sorry I wasn't looking." He thought to himself as he turned to walk out knowing his apartment was close thinking to himself until someone banged into him. "No problem." He inwardly cursed himself for showing himself in such a state in front of his boss. "Sorry sir, please forgive me it is very unprofessional of me to be drinking around my boss. I sincerity apologise." His slightly clouded mind though slow knew full well he was on loose ground. It was very bad to be seen as such by one employer. His brain worked in overdrive trying to find a way to regain his professional air. But none came. He cursed himself. Shen stood there waiting for his dismissal, he was certainly put off a job now, not only had her been caught drinking but his boss was more well aware he only had a number of months before he was employing a criminal. "What's there to forgive, you're out drinking and having fun before you're saddled down married there's no harm in that." Jun laughed clasping the males shoulder as he looked a bit tipsy. "Is your place far? If it is you can come crash at mine it's about a block from here." Jun watched Shen's reaction trying not to laugh, the male thought he was going to fire him. "Actually I'm not taking no for an answer come on, you'll crash at my place for the night." Jun pulled Shen down the street with him, his grip strong but relaxed at the same time. He was so astounded by the sudden turn off events that he could do nothing to reject the offer, his feet followed where he was commanded to walk. After a minute he regained his ability to process everything. "Its okay sir I can get back to my place ypi don't need to do this." "Honestly, how could you get drunk, you know if the wrong person picked you up on the street they could have done things to you." Jun pretended to be disappointed but he was really amused as he heard the male respond to him he shook his head. "It's fine my apartment has two rooms just stay in one of them for the night." He opened his mouth again to protest some more but a sudden hazy spell came over him and he almost tripped. All thoughts of protest slipped from his mind. For tonight he would allow his boss to put him up although he was sure he would regret it in the morning, it was always bad to get too close to ones boss. He kept his eyes on the ground making sure that he knew exactly where he was putting his feet so that he wouldn't cause himself to trip again, this was embarrassing enough as it was. As he walked on he became acutely aware of the shouting and loud music. A smile slipped onto his lips. He wasn't that far gone yet. "Sir, let me buy you a drink for doing this it is really very kind and I feel bad." Although his intentions while also wanting to say thank you were partly related to the young women lounging and partying in the bar. At a place like this he could easily get a girls number, or even better get a bed for the night that wasn't in the apartment of the man that could very easily fire him. "Come on." He smiled and pulled the elder man towards the bar. As he took hold of the other wrist he suddenly realised that this man was more then likely younger than him. That just annoyed him, what right did a young man have to be the owner of such a large company when he wasn't even married - or so he assumed. It irked him that his junior was reprimanding and offering him a place to stay. But still he kept a smile on his lips determined to make a good impression on any women he might like. Jun shoot his head. "It's fine, you don't need to buy me anything." Jun relaxed watching Shen face laughing at bit as Shen pulled him towards the bar. "Ya know most of those women are either married or they're husbands are selfish bastards." Jun spoke as he waved towards a young girl with a bruise on her face. Jun shook his head before gasping as one of the women grabbed him and kissed him hard. "Hi Miranda... yeah actually I gotta go." Jun gave Shen a shove forward as they walked towards the bar. He couldn't quite believe it and wouldn't have had he not seen it with his own eyes. He was still gaping in amazement when the other pushed him towards the bar. Looking at the drinks listed Shen frowned, it was such a lousey list. Everything on it was really very bad, it was the sort of bar the sold bad everything the only saving grace being that it was cheap. But he would rather pay more for a good drink than less for something that's tasted foul. He sighed rolling his eyes "can I have two sakes please." It wasn't going to taste the rich flavour it sould but at least it would taste of something. Taking the glasses he passed one to his boss. "One sake, sorry this bar has bad alcohol so it might not taste good." He laughed before his eye caught that of a girl looking at him, he winked at her before returning her attention to the man in front of him.
