Well, just recently they legalized gay marriage (where I am from), but before that our city was already considered on of the most gayest places in the states. Haha.

 

Our downtown area has a strip with gay bars spanning a few blocks. ^^ I don't do the bar scene, but it's not hard to miss, when you drive by.

 

The the university where I went promoted gay pride and I have gay friends both guys & girls. Every summer we have a 3 day gay parade close to the local college. In short where I'm from seeing 'yaoi scenes' is normal. :hamtaro-005 (9):

Lol, I'm assuming where you're from, it's not as open? Which is understandable as well. Here, even though it's more openly discussed there's always a stigma associated with being openly gay.

But PDA is not very common..All I get to see it are couples looking intently with each other while eating their burger LOL

Yep, blame it on society. Don't get me wrong there's still a stigma here, being openly gay, but it's not as bad as other places.

So this friend of mine found out I like yaoi, so he said he was going to do a scene for me ( he's not even gay) . He went grabbed the hottest guy in our band ( who's nick name is Prince Charming so u know he's super dreamy) and then started doing a yaoi scene it was crazy they hugged, went under each other's shirts and I swear they almost kissed >.
