In an abandoned mansion lives a rumor that has been locked away inside for centuries. Inside lies a beast with a dark past and a cold heart. He yearns for love, but is too filled with rage to try and find it. He has one servant that does everything for him from food to cleaning. The only time someone has seen the beast is when he takes a walk around the house, but even then his face is not seen for he wears a cloak when outside and even inside his home. Disgusted by his appearance, the beast's anger grows and grows. The lonely beast, who feels like the light of day is something he is not worthy of. That is....until he meets a boy who, on a dare, spends the night in the mansion on his own. That is when the two paths cross, and their destinies are rewritten.

However, a beast is a beast....and beauty is a human..does the fear he set in the boy scare him too far to love a beast like him? Or perhaps the boy can see past the ugly and the temper the beast holds to see that the beast is more than he appears to be. Maybe having not always been a beast..?

Daichi always has and still does appear to come off as harsh nd cold, seeming to hate everyone and everything. He really does hate everything, in a sense, having turned bitter and spiteful in turn of his curse and poison. In reality though, when it comes to love and actually opening his heart to someone - which he's too stubborn to do - he is a hopeless romantic, loving to love.

Takumi's camera continued to flash he snapped picture after picture of what he saw. First it was a butterfly on a leaf, then it was the blue sky, and the third was a picture of him laying in the grass. He was enjoying his picture taking until he heard the bell toll for classes to begin.

He had one class that day though, but what made it sour was that it was his math class. Of all the subjects he was taking, Takumi hated math. He didn't need math to take pictures, or to be a photographer. Yet, his curriculum required a math credit.

Frowning and fidgeting his way through the class, Takumi walked briskly out of the classroom, ignoring those who looked at him as he held his camera to his chest protectively and began to make his way home. It was a little ways till he got there though, and it wouldn't matter when he got home since nobody would be there to greet him anyway. His mother and father both died when he had just been born. He was raised up by his uncle who was a professional photographer and at the moment was oversees on a business trip. He had been away for about two months now, so Takumi is by now used to the empty apartment room.

Looking around as he walked, Takumi stopped in front of a metal gate that seemed to have guard something mysterious behind it's cold, steel bars. All he could see was forest and bushes down a trail. Looking up towards the horizon of the trees, Takumi could barely see the tips of what must have been a mansion...maybe even a castle. 'If it's in this condition...I wonder if it's abandoned...' he wondered, taking pictures and looking them over. He heard rumors over the property being haunted, and some even claiming to have seen a demon in the windows.

Having passed by the property and not having seen anything, Takumi decided that that night he would get to the bottom of the rumors and prove that they were wrong....though it was more than likely he wouldn't tell a soul what he saw anyway. Going back to the apartment after making up his mind, Takumi grabbed a backpack and stuffed an extra pair of clothes, a flashlight, extra camera batteries, and some snacks with waters. When night fall came, Takumi left the apartment after locking the door and made his way back to the property.

Throwing his bag over the gate, Takumi shimmied up the wall and hopped over before slowly walking down the path, flashlight glowing brightly as he walked quietly and slowly. 'It's not so bad...' he thought, trying to convince himself of that as his heart was hammering away in his chest from nervousness.

Standing in the green room, a lone male admired his garden he upheld. He didn't dare to keep one outside - that would require him going outside to tend to it. And he refused to step a single foot out the doors of the castle. So he took to keeping a greenhouse, one he tended to and cared. He didn't even let his one and only servant tend to them. It was something the beastly looking man enjoyed. Despite his features, he could be quiet gentle. Though, it still got in the way sometimes.

His hands cupped around a beautiful rose, before his sharp claws swiftly and accidentally sliced the bloomed rose from his life source stem. He gasped a bit, eyes wide with surprise, before they saddened, and then turned to anger. Gritting his teeth, he clenched his fist, crushing the decapitated beautifully bloomed rose in his hand, the nectar from the plant oozing into his hand. He sighed heavily, tossing it aside to the ground before leaving the beautiful, abundant and colorful greenery.

He left through the halls, agitated and self-loathing himself once again. It seemed every day he was reminded of just how much of a monster he was. No matter what he tried to be normal, to be human again, it couldn't be possible. Not with the sharp claws and fangs he had. The pointed ears, bat-like wings and demonic horns....He growled monstrously in disgust as he looked at his reflection in a mirror of his bedroom, punching it. Another broken mirror, probably the hundredth for his servant to replace. As he passed by the fogged window of his bedroom, he noticed a figure approaching the castle, and he narrowed his eyes. Who was coming here? Surely no one who wouldn't regret coming here, he thought, as he made his way down to the main floor.

Takumi walked up to the mansion, noticing something pass over one. Getting his camera ready, he snapped a few pictures before approaching the door. Knocking once, Takumi decided to enter without waiting since the place was rumored to be abandoned and haunted. Nobody should be living there. That was what he thought at least as he looked around the entrance-way. It was obviously old, maybe dated back to the Victorian days? However, the place seemed to be well taken care of.

He didn't call out, much to frightened to do that as he closed the door behind himself. Sniffing, he could smell the fragrance of flowers. He didn't see any gardens on his way in though....he wondered if there was a greenhouse nearby as he looked around and made his way around, looking over pictures and admiring the furniture as he snapped pictures.

Turning on the flash, he steadied his camera before snapping pictures that came out better. He liked the place already, and was about to go up the stairs when...

... he heard footsteps approaching and shrunk away as he hid behind a curtain quickly. Clutching his camera, Takumi just about stopped breathing as he waited for what would appear. That was when the flash went off on his camera...

The tall male bound down the flights of stairs, irritated. Who was this human, that dared enter his palace? He would make sure they would regret coming here. He walked down the stairs, keeping to the shadows - which was easy, considering he never let the lights on in the place, day or night. Being the beast he was, he could see just fine in the dark.

He heard a faint clicking noise coming from the base floor and he growled lowly in his throat. With each click, his temper seemed to rise a notch, ready to find the source and destroy of it. As he was stepping down the stairs, a bright flash went off and he stumbled back, growling as the flash disoriented him for a moment, growling furiously as he reached out towards the curtains, grabbing the human and snatching the device out of their hands, before throwing them to the floor "Who are you?" he demanded with a growl lacing his throats "And why have you come here? This isn't your property to roam" he growled before looking to the object in his hand, narrowing his eyes at it as he turned it in his hands. What was this? He'd locked himself away in the mansion for so many years now that he didn't know what cameras were. Though he stood in the dark, his gold eyes seemed to penetrate the darkness and glow "Speak" he demanded the intruder.

Takumi's eyes widened at the growl, stiffening when grabbed forcefully and thrown to the ground. He didn't move an inch as he trembled in fear from being yelled at. "Ta-Ta-Ta...." he trailed off though as he looked at his camera. Heart hammering in his chest as he looked at the male above him. "T-T-Takumi....m-my name is T-Takumi...." he said quietly.

"The....the rumors.....I..pictures.....camera..." he whispered, speaking quietly to the point where only a few words were able to be heard from him. He hadn't spoken in a long time so it was difficult for him to just speak as he breathed heavily.

"You are.....a demon?" he asked curiously, pointing towards the male's horns. "C-Can I....camera back....." he asked, reaching hesitantly for the camera.

Daichi glared at the intruder, narrowing his golden orbs at him as he spoke. Clearly he was terrified. Of course he was. He snarled a bit in irritation. How dare this human. He watched him as he trembled and stammered, trying to find words. He clutching the camera tightly in his grasp, his strong grip tightening earning a small crack from the camera "What is this?" he asked, grabbing the males wrist that was outreached towards him in the camera.

He growled a bit at what the human called him. A demon. Of course. He snarled "Thats right, I'm a demon. So why did you come here? Thought it would be fun to catch a glimpse of a real demon?" he inquired, a low growl still lacing deep in his throat with each word he spoke, his grip on the others wrist tight.

"You shouldn't have come here....rumors, you say? There's a reason they are rumors, boy. A reason people don't come here. Why do you think that is?" he snarled as he got his face up close towards the other, threateningly.

Takumi's eyes widened as he struggled more. "NO! D-don't break it!" he begged. Squirming more so, Takumi cried out as his wrist was grabbed and tightened around. "T-to get...pictures. I didn't think....demons were real......" he whispered honestly, tears threatening at his eyes. "I-I thought they were just rumors....they said it was abandoned and run by....ghosts and demons...." he whispered, shaking like a leaf.

"P-please....give me back....my camera!" he said, trying to be stern. Looking at the demon, Takumi looked closer, before frowning. "You.....are not a demon....." he mumbled. "Why do you have horns and wings? Demons have tails....and red skin....and....they don't smell like flowers." he frowned, cringing away when the male got closer to him.

"D-don't hurt me....please." he whispered, beginning to have an anxiety attack as he started gasping for air with tears in his eyes. "I'm....sorry....for.....coming...in....without permission...." he cried out, squirming the best he could as his face reddened from panicking.

Daichi raised an eyebrow as the other seemed to act frantically about the object. He looked to the object in his hand curiously. "Camera? What is that?" he growled, but curiosity showed in his voice as he looked at it "Pictures?" he inquired looking back to him. He glared once again, composing himself and getting over his curiosity. The boy was like a puddle of tears in his hands. How easy. He scoffed a bit at how frantic the boy acted, but intrigued buy how he seemed to care so much for this camera object.

He opened his mouth to snarl something else at him, before he spoke that he wasn't a demon. He blinked, eyes widening slightly as he looked back to the male "Not a demon?" he inquired. He remained silent for a moment longer before turning and walking off fast paced, dragging the male along behind him and keeping the hold on his wrist "You'll regret having come here" he said as he made it to a room, and threw him in there as well as threw his camera object into the room.

"You wanted to see what it was like, huh? You'll see just how far curiosity can get you. You're so interested in this place, then you can stay here!" he snarled, slamming the door shut before turning on his heel and leaving off. He wasn't going to let a human go, someone who'd actually seen him to go off telling stories about him now. But he was curious, and thought of his words he said.

"You are not a demon..."

Takumi nodded when questioned about what he said, "N-not a...demon." he whispered, only to begin panicking again as he was dragged. "Please! I won't say anything! L-let me go!" he begged, crying out when thrown into a room. He slid quickly for his camera in a baseball dive as he caught it quickly and hugged it to his chest.

He looked up at the man beast with wide and frightened eyes. Frowning he went to the door and touched it. 'Locked.......' he thought, moving away from the door as he examined his camera. 'What is he going to do to me here? K-kill me?' he thought, digging through his bag and taking out a picture of his uncle. His uncle told him that the camera belonged to his father, it was a memento and he treasured it regardless of not knowing his father or mother.

Takumi felt miserable, sitting on the bed in the room as he curled up and looked at his camera. Flipping from picture to picture slowly. 'Will I die here...?' he wondered.

Daichi glared at the male, having tossed him in the room with a snarl of his last words before he left. He sighed heavily, stomping down the hall in his shoeless clawed feet. He headed to his room, huffing and puffing in irritation to himself, questioning himself. How could a human have come here? Why? He thought he'd done well to get those rumors and everything spreading in the nearby town so that no one would bother him, and they would just leave him there alone to die, in his miserably beastly state.

Just with that thought running through his head, he growled, slamming his fist down on the desk "Dammit!" he hissed to himself. He sighed heavily for the tenth time before plopping himself down on the bed. He glanced out his window into the fogged night, closing his eyes as he fell back on the bed, laying on his back, and running a hand through his hair, trying to calm himself. Being what he was, it was easy for him to get angry, and for that anger to pump through his veins for several minutes afterwards.

sorry it's so short >_

Takumi frowned as he remained in the bedroom, before thinking of an idea. He began to take pictures around the room, even opening the window to take more shots. Smiling at the images, Takumi fidgeted a little as he sat on the bed and waited for the beat-like male to return to the room.

He wondered what he could do to make the other male calmer. Perhaps a few good pictures would cheer him, since photography was all that Takumi thought of from sun up to sundown.

'Will he smile from the pictures?' he thought, a small and rare smile playing on his lips as he waited. He was growing more and more excited about improving the beast's mood, so much so that he forgot about being afraid of him.

After sitting in his room and calming down, the beast of the castle had ended up falling asleep without even realizing it. Again, it was another restless night, full of nightmares haunting him, and everything he could have done to avoid this curse poisoning through his body, making him look like this. And he used to be so attractive too...he could get any male or female he wanted. He sighed heavily to himself in his sleep, puffing out air as he tossed and turned.

When he awoke it was just before sunrise, the slimmest sliver of sunlight peeking behind the horizon. His eyes fluttered a bit in confusion, before remembering the events of the previous night. He frowned - what had he been thinking? Locking a human up in here? He sighed, shaking his head to himself as he stood up, still grumpy. He reasoned with himself it was okay. It was the humans fault for coming and trespassing in here in the first place. He walked out of his bedroom, glancing to his servant he found and ordered him to start breakfast up.

The servant suggested to him to perhaps give the boy food, make him comfortable. This only resulted in Daichi snapping at the male about not to tell him what to do. But even as the servant left to go tend to food and everything, Daichi still headed in the direction of the captive boy anyways. He hesitated, clearing his throat awkwardly before knocking on the door and unlocking it.

Takumi realized that the beast was not coming, and instead of continuing to wait there he removed his clothes except the shirt and his boxers before falling asleep beneath the covers. They were warm around his body and the bed was so soft. He fell asleep almost instantly, lightly snoring as his eyes fluttered ever so slightly while he dreamed of his uncle and photography.

In the morning, Takumi remained asleep, snuggled up to the pillows as he smiled in delight. When he heard a knocking on the door, Takumi's eyes fluttered open as he sat up and rubbed the sleep from them. Yawning into his hand, Takumi opened his eyes all the way and looked at the beast as he walked in. Still a little frightened, Takumi got out of the bed slowly before fetching his camera and biting his lip a bit. "C-camera.....i-it takes pictures....captures what you see..." he whispered quietly, moving closer to the beast slowly before showing him the pictures. "This is....you....and...this is my school.....that is my uncle...." he smiled, looking up at the beast.

"When can I go home?" he asked, frowning now. "My uncle is returning soon....I wanted to be home...when he gets back.." he said.

Daichi fidgeted outside the human's room. Or, the room he had him locked up in, anyways. He growled a bit when he got no response from the other, and there was just silence "I'm coming in" he huffed in irritation, unlocking the door and striding inside as he looked to the male who was half awake on the bed. He narrowed his eyes as he watched him jump. Of course, why did it even still hurt him anymore, someones fearful reaction to him? It was normal by now, he should be used to it. But it still hurt.

When seeing that the other was going to move closer to him, he narrowed his eyes, taking a step back away from him, before the other tried showing him something. Hesitantly, he took his stance back beside the other, looking at the screen on the camera as the other tried showing him. His eyes widened a bit with awe, glancing back to the human curiously. Such beautiful pictures - and this male took them? He wondered all the kinds of pictures he took, it was nice to see even the smallest glimpse of the outside world. Daichi himself didn't even step foot outside the front door, not even just onto the property land within the gates and walls surrounding the castle. The thought of what else beyond the doors that the other took intrigued him, but the thought was soon gone from his mind as the asked about being able to leave.

He moved back away from the other with a glare "You're not leaving. If you wanted to be home, then you should have stayed there" he said and it was then he noticed the other was naked. His eyes gazes over his rather slim and structured body, before glaring and turning away from the other "Hurry and get dressed. Then come downstairs and eat breakfast" he demanded before leaving the room quickly.

Takumi was surprised at the beast's reaction to the pictures, smiling at the light that seemed to beam through the man's eyes. He could tell the male liked the pictures, and was happy he did. He never knew his pictures could brighten even the seemingly beastly types.

When he was glared at and spoken to about not leaving home he frowned. "O....okay..."he whispered, not hiding the hurt in his voice as he became quiet once again. When told he should get dressed, Takumi nodded and looked towards the bed. He sighed, walking over to the backpack where he dug through and took out fresh clothes to change into. Granted they weren't fancy, but at least they were clean.

Changing quickly into clean underwear and then slipping into a pair of jeans and a sweater with a vest over it. He then fixed his hair a little before changing the batteries in his camera as he made his way out of the room.

Walking downstairs as he was instructed, Takumi looked around and took pictures before finding the kitchen. Walking to the table, his eyes widened at the food laid out. Taking a few pictures of everything to hold as memory of the food he got to eat, Takumi sat down slowly, not sure what to do suddenly. 'Should I wait for him to eat first...or do I eat first?" he thought to himself.

Daichi didn't spare any pity for the human at his clear hurt and disappointment for not being able to go home or anything like that. He sighed to himself, shaking his head. The male must have thought of that beforehand. It was his fault for coming here and intruding in his home. He thought all the villagers should have been smart enough to keep out and just leave this whole place be alone. He guessed wrong though, obviously.

He sighed as he made his way down to the table in the dining hall, which was large and grand, a beautiful room decorated with chandeliers, and various sorts of food scattered in display across the table. He wondered how long he was going to have to wait for the other, his patience wearing thin, before he heard that faint clicking noise again and the other entered the room. He watched him take pictures of the food, frowning slightly "Are you going to take a picture of everything?" he huffed slightly, before picking up his own fork.

He was just about to start eating, when he glanced up and noticed the other wasn't. He frowned - why wasn't he eating? Was the food not good enough for him? Was he protesting? He watched him skeptically, before speaking up "Why aren't you eating?" he demanded.

Takumi smiled at Daichi then and nodded. "Yes...." he then looked over the food with wide eyes. "T-there's so much food....did you make it?" he wondered. He all but jumped out of his skin when demanded why he wasn't eating. "I-I didn't know if....well....I always thought that when someone comes...to someone's home....well....that the owner must eat first before the guests." he said quietly, cheeks reddening in embarrassment as he took hold of his own fork and took a small bite. "Delicious!" he grinned.

Eating slowly to savor every bite, Takumi set his camera down as he cut a little meat and sampled a few things from the table. "This is...very good food. I've never had the chance to eat such...new foods. Thank you for allowing me to have a meal with you." he said, smiling kindly as he continued to eat.

"It's the first time in a few months that I've had the chance to eat with someone...I'm happy.." he admitted.

Daichi just rolled his eyes a bit when the other said how would keep taking pictures of everything. He glanced to the other with the camera curiously. How did that work? It took pictures? And how did it store so many inside such a small box like that? The device really did intrigue him. But he hadn't the nerve or guts to actually ask the male about the camera, how it worked and why and everything. He just awkwardly turned his attention back to the food before asked if he had made it.

"I uh...yeah" he spoke a bit awkwardly "Is it...too much? Not to your liking?" he asked as he looked to the other, wondering if something was wrong with all the food. "I used to have a bunch of servants around. They would make the food. But since..." he started, trailing off. He coughed a bit "They all left, though. So i had to learn how to cook for myself. I do still have one servant around...he helped teach me how to cook. But cooking....well, it gives me something to do..." he muttered, thinking back. Once he'd been poisoned and his body had taken this cursed form, all but one of his servants had abandoned him and left. Since then, he was left to do everything himself. He did have one left still, Lycus. But Lycus was a busy man to be a lone man tending to this mansion. He couldn't do everything. And Daichi often needed something to do, to keep himself from going crazy, so he helped out around the place, such as the cooking. Though, really he was only cooking for himself. Even Lycus didn't really eat with him. And then the garden was his other priority in the home.

When the other finally started eating, he was pleased, and relaxed. He was then able to begin eating his own food, but occasionally glanced up at the other to see if he was enjoying it. He blinked, a very faint red dusting his pale cheeks when told it was good "Thats good..." he murmured a bit in embarrassment, only continuing to focus on his food and eating to hide his embarrassment. He was glad the other liked it though, it made him a bit happy. Hearing him say how it had been so long since he'd eaten with someone, he was a bit surprised "Really?" he asked looking to him "I haven't eaten with another person for quite some time either..." perhaps thats why he hadn't known how much food to make, and made a whole lot. But it was also because he didn't know what the other liked, and wanted to make sure there was a good variety for the male to choose from. "You're.....happy?" he inquired, confused as he looked at the other with a frown "You shouldn't be. I'm forcing you to stay here in this castle, and yet...you say your happy" he muttered, confused.

Takumi smiled as he continued to eat the breakfast made before him. "You cook very well!" he said, surprised to hear that the other was doing this because it gave him something to do. It sounded like him whenever he took pictures. It was something to do with his time since he was too scared to talk to people, and wasn't very athletic.

"Yes, my uncle was the only one I would eat with, but even then it wouldn't be often. So I'm really very happy to have a meal with you." he said. He stopped eating when he was questioned. Setting the fork down, and sipping some water, Takumi thought over what to say before he opened his mouth.

"I am happy. Perhaps....I am silly to be happy eating a meal together with the one who has forced me to stay here..but I am. Besides...it's not so bad really. I've never been in such a big home before, so it's new to me. Outside it's scary, but inside it feels warm and inviting here." he said, smiling at the beast to cheer him up. "I'm happy to stay here." he said, and then thought of something. "What is your name?" he asked. "I can't just call you 'you' or talk around a name....so what is it? Your name." he asked. "Mine is Takumi..Takumi Saito." he said, not believing how well he was able to speak to the beast without stuttering or getting scared.

He kept his smile on his face as he looked into the beast's eyes. "You know....I'm not scared to talk to you...and I'm not really stammering. It's a surprise to me. I've never been very good with talking to people, but for some reason I'm fine talking to you." he chuckled.

Daichi was rather embarrassed by the constant praise about how well the food was and how he cooked. It was weird to have someone complimenting him, actually being nice to him. It caused an unusual feeling to stir in his chest that he wasn't familiar with. He just ignored the warm fuzzy feeling before silently going back to eating his food.

He listened to the other as he explained how he really never ate with anyone, the only one he would eat with being his uncle. Whom he remembered the boy had said was away at the moment. So he ate and lived alone? It sounded a lot like himself at the moment, in his own world, never talking to others or anything like that. He looked up at the other with interest, feeling an odd sort of connection with the male.

He was a bit confused when the other said he was happy to be here. He frowned, brows furrowed as he looked at the other "Happy?" he inquired curiously, muttering to himself in thought as the other went on about how he seemed to be comfortable here, and it was warm and nice inside. He also mentioned how he seemed to be able to talk so freely, and easily. Daichi did remember that, upon the boys first arrival the other night, he was stuttering and stammering over every word. How was it the boy had come so comfortable to being in here?

Upon being asked his name, he froze a bit "Ah....my name?" he said looking to the other as he introduced himself "Takumi....my name is Daichi..." he said a bit hesitantly. He was so confused. How could the boy be so happy here? He was forcing him to stay here, yet he seemed hardly effected by it.

A thought suddenly passed his mind, before he smiled a bit "If you're done eating...there's something I wish to show you" he said. He had a feeling the male might like the greenery he kept on the third floor, where there was a glass ceiling to let in the sunlight and everything. When the other had finished and said he was ready, Daichi stood from his chair and headed up the stairs for the other to follow him. Upon arriving, he glanced behind him checking that the boy was still there, before he opened the doors and stepped inside the very large, grandiose greenhouse, full of so many colorful flowers and plants.

Takumi continued to smile at the beast, enjoying their conversation as he felt like he was beginning to grow closer to the other even though they literally just met! He smiled when he was told the other's name. "Daichi...." he smiled as he finished meal.

"Something you want to show me? Okay." he said, and got up when he finished before following Daichi up the stairs. Looking around as they walked, Takumi looked back up at Daichi before they arrived at a set of doors. He could smell what was behind it, and he grew excited.

When the doors were opened, Takumi's eyes widened in amazement as he slowly stepped inside. "Daichi...this is amazing." he whispered, walking over to each flower and smiling at the coloring and differences. "There are so many! Did...did you grow all of these?" he asked, looking over at Daichi with a bright smile. "I've only ever grown a daisy, these....these are amazing." he cooed, taking out his camera. He turned off the flash and took pictures before looking at each one.

They made him smile as he occasionally took a picture, but mostly just admired the flowers. "What is this one called?" he asked, pointing to a few flowers. He liked to look at flowers, but never had the opportunity to research and know more about them. "Can we go here often? It's so nice and colorful inside." he said, smiling brighter the longer he stayed inside.

"I wish I could grow flowers like this. You really have a green thumb for gardening Daichi! You're amazing!" he complimented, walking over to the other and slowly hugging him. "Thank you for showing me this Daichi. You are a truly kind person." he said, smiling as he pulled away a little to return to looking at the flowers and different plants.

Daichi smiled a bit at the others interest. He traveled up the stairs where the other came with him and he opened the doors, stepping inside and allowing the other in. He glanced to him a bit nervously, wondering what he would think. He hoped the male would like this room.

Seeing the excitement light up in the others face as he traveled further into the greenery, he smiled, feeling a little relieved, his heart racing in his chest nervously as the other started to speak. He smiled when he looked amongst all the flowers, asking if he'd planted them and everything. He smiled and gave a small hesitant nod "I did...yeah..." he muttered. He smiled as he listened to the other "Daisies? I have some of those too" he said, walking over to one area of the greenery where the majority of the daisies were, and there were a whole bunch of different kinds, various colors and fragrances coming from them.

When the other asked about various other flowers, he smiled, telling him all of them. A lot were common flowers, but then there were a lot of unfamiliar, rarer flowers as well. He knew the name of every single one of them. This place brought him some peace, especially when he found himself struggling with his appearance more than usual. He smiled a bit and nodded his head "You may come in here whenever you like, if you wish" he said with a light smile.

He blushed when the other started complimenting him again and about the flowers and the greenery. "Ah....you really think so? I'm glad you like it here..." he said, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly, behind his horns. He stumbled a bit when he was suddenly being hugged by the other, and his eyes widened as he looked down at the other "Ah...y-you're....you're touching me....hugging me?" he spoke confused and surprised the other was okay being this close to him, touching him. The other had soon gone back to looking at flowers though, leaving Daichi just standing there stunned.

Takumi smiled as he looked over the daisies, then while listening to the other tell him each flower's name and about them, Takumi would take a slight smell from each one. He smiled as he found them all beautiful and their names only suited them. He always ventured back to the daisies though, looking over the different colors and smelling each individual fragrance the best he could.

"Really?? Thank you!" he said, smiling brighter as he gave the other another hug. When the original hug was brought up, Takumi smiled. "Yeah, I'm hugging you. It's a thank you hug. You get two of them because you are so kind to me." he whispered. "Oh, do you not like being hugged? Sorry if that is the case." he whispered, looking over the carnations with a glimmer in his eyes as he sniffed. "These are beautiful Daichi..." he said, looking up once again at the beast with a wide smile on his face as he chuckled. "You look surprised at being hugged. Is it so strange to receive affection?" he asked curiously and went over to the other again.

"I understand though, I do not like being social with others, so...I would like to think of you as my very first friend." he said, a smile on his face as he bowed his head. "Please take care of me throughout our friendship." he said, and straightened his back as he ran a hand through his hair. He then lifted his hand up cautiously "Can...I touch your horns?" he asked, reaching up to touch them curiously, light grazing his fingers over them before poking the pointed end. "It's not that sharp...it's.....like bone...amazing." he whispered, on his tip toes as he touched Daichi's horns before pulling his hand away after he was satisfied. "They aren't so scary after all." he hummed, looking at the other.
