InuCassy Posted August 28, 2014 Share Posted August 28, 2014 Sitting in the darkest shadows of reality Distant from the light of the world Voices screaming inside my head Insanity rips apart my soul I tear at the flesh that covers me Trying to reach my beating heart Wanting it to shatter into a thousand pieces Just to heal from a lifetime of sins Closing my eyes briefly Tears of crimson blood drain from the sockets Letting out a soundless cry My throat begins to seal shut Slowly suffocating from my misery Images flood my subconscious Beautiful and fatal like a disease A face stands out amongst the blur Wanting to reach out towards it My muscles begin to disintegrate My love for you is your hate for me Always alone is my given fate A demon hidden within a million angels The gates of Hell creak open Flames licking my battered face Promising a damned eternity No reasons left to want an escape Any fight left quickly fades away I am left limp and motionless Flopping over onto the cobblestone The coldness feeds into my lifelessness A final smile is etched across my lips Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
