「 The prestigious Etoile Academy is renowned for its Entertainment Department, where talented students hone their skills in preparation for careers in the performing arts. Each year, the academy's most anticipated event, the "Gold Rush" talent competition, offers aspiring entertainers the chance to prove themselves before industry professionals.

The protagonist is an upperclassman assigned to mentor one of two freshmen as they prepare for the competition. Through careful scheduling and training, he'll help his chosen student improve their abilities while navigating the relationships that develop along the way.

(No seriously though, the summary on VNDB made no sense at all. It literally starts out, 'Main character has a weak boy'. Wut?)

I saw this as a reupload request...

There WAS an upload on pan.baidu (my mortal enemy...) a long while ago on its initial, original reupload request, but the baidu stuff got BTFO'd. Probably a long time ago.

Thankfully, aarinfantasy had the files! I'm so happy the mega BL game torrent exists...

 

Anyhow, for the installation... it's interesting. Well, the process is normal. You know. Mount the iso virtually. 

However...

Windows false flagged the game installer as having a virus. Why? Who knows...

Now, don't worry though... it doesn't. I poked around using 7zip, and the files look just fine.

I'd say just have Windows Defender exclude the iso itself.

(Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > Virus & threat protection settings > Manage settings >  scroll all the way to the bottom and click "add or remove exclusions" under Exclusions > Add an exclusion > file > pick the iso from wherever you saved it)

 

Back to installation...

 

It will give you a few choices. 

標準インストール (hyoujun insuto-ru/"standard installation"), フルインストール (furu insuto-ru/"full installation"), and 最小インストール (saishou insuto-ru/"minimal installation").

I think it's pretty much just for the interest of space on your drive. Pick フルインストール (furu insuto-ru/"full installation") and click インストール開始 (insuto-ru kaishi/start installation)

Depending on where you pick the game to be (I left it default), it might ask if it's OK to create the folder. Just pick yes. The game will start installing.

After it's done, it'll tell you that it finished. Click ゲーム実行 (ge-mu jikko/run game).

Voila! Etoile no Houtekishiki is officially running on your computer. Yay!
