To feel the shivers of coldness Creep across your body. For your body to become so numb Your pain slowly dieing down. To watch, as everything around you Turns to a darkened room. Your body’s shivering suddenly stopping, And your last breath escapes your lips. Have you wondered who’d miss you? Who would cry? Or maybe who would be more happier, If you were gone? Maybe you wonder How many people would hate the world without you… But then again, The main thought…would be how many would celebrate… Can you ever really know… Who would miss you, and who would not? Could you ever really let yourself fall so far, And keep it hidden from the world? Could you leave all your friends behind, And watch the world as a lost soul? Could you cause so much pain for the ones that love you And watch as they live their lives, always remembering you? Could you live in the shadows, Invisible to all? Or do you already feel Invisible to all? Could you hover over the ones you loved, Crying because you caused their sadness? Could you handle… Watching them die when their time came? Now you begin thinking Maybe it’s not worth all that… All the pain… All the sadness… All the people who would miss you… It’s not worth making them sad… So live life… even when it’s hard. Continue on… Even when weak… Will it be easy Of course not… But no matter what… You must go on… The reason I write this poem…is because to be honest there have been many times I have had these thoughts…but always I am pulled back from them…by my friends, who don’t know they helped. By my family, who can’t see my pain. And by everyone else that holds me dear to them, even though they have never met me. It’s only because of them all…that I still exist. I have had many friends in the past who took their life...and it's just not worth all the pain it causes the ones around you.It's more worth it to talk it out with someone who you know would understand then it is to end it.
