Okay, this was rather difficult to find! But I knew I had to preserver, 'cuz me and |WW| are buds.

I got mostly female characters or cross-players at first… So I had to get specific.

Then I remembered a well-liked series, Angel Sanctuary. I'm fond of the creator and her art style, and I always pay attention to author's notes, regardless. One time she mentioned how one character confused readers about his gender because he wore lipstick. (Because there aren't many gender cues in the Japanese language)

 

But I couldn't remember the character's name! I had to dig through my bookshelf to find vol. 1 of Angel Sanctuary and read through the Author's notes until I finally found the name. Then I realized I could have googled this.

 

BUT I FOUND AN IMAGE!!!!

(In the manga black ink is used to represent red lipstick, but in a lot of colored art blue is used a lot. Plus, I love this picture
