They were mean and hateful towards the boy, so at the ripe age of sixteen he ran away from home and has been gone ever since. Living on the streets and things like that, however he is happy with being able to enjoy his life to the fullest. Only on cold winter nights when he has the time will he think back and wonder what would have happened if he had never run away from his home. Waiting to bloom and show off their beautiful color of green... The white of snow shows off the world as an innocent being... Innocence and new life just like the warm cool breeze of spring.- A semi-tall blonde haired male was standing in front of his literature class reading a poem that he had to write for the class. The whole class was silent for a few minutes before they all started to clap. He gave them all a soft smile before he bowed to the students. The teacher who was leaning against his desk was also clapping as well. "That was beautiful Mr. Lexington! It actually spoke the truth about winter. Now you may take your seat." Liam smiled and nodded his head, bowing slightly, when he got to his seat the teacher coughed and rubbed his hands on his dress pants. "Well class is over... So remember you all have a test on the winter legends next Wednesday class dismissed!" He said turning around and grabbing the papers that were on his desk. The blonde sighed and moved out of peoples ways as they walked out of the classroom. He packed all of his belongings up and wrapped a bright red scarf around his neck due to the weather getting slightly more colder, which meant; Winter was just around the corner. After he left school he got a call from his work telling him that he had to come in. He couldn't help but smile, he just loved the animals that he works with, the blonde shoved his hands in his black jean pockets. So far today was going great! What else could make it better? The road itself was beggining to grow icy and surely it would quickly become unusable. Nathanial leaned against the side of the shoe shinning shop, watching as a man who was smoking a cigar hurried across the street to enter a shop for hat tailoring. the small boy knew something was wrong, everything around him seemed wrong some how. He reached up and brushed the snow that had collected on the top of his head off, he wore no jacket over his simple shirt and no hat atop his head. Looking towards the sky one thing kept repeating over and over again in his head. Beautiful.. A little whinning caught his attention, glancing over then behind him he saw what looked to be a moving pile of snow. Eyes going wide he ran over to it and brushed a bit of the snow away to reveal a shivering little dog, the dog whinned softly at him and took off in the snow. Forwning lightly he ran after it shouting. "Hey! Come back here and i'll find you some place warm!" He followed it all threw town, dodging people and cars alike until finally the small animal stooped. It had come up behind a man and bit at his pants, tugging lightly for the others attention. As Mikari came to a stop as well he reached down and plucked the small animal from the ground before apologizing to the man with the red scarf. "I am so very sorry for that!" kittypanda Posted January 16, 2013 Author Share Posted January 16, 2013 Liam stopped walking when he felt the tug on the back of his pants, he turned around ready about to see what had tugged his pants but saw a boy and blinked at him before noticing the puppy in his hands. "It's fine! No harm done right?" He said with a soft laugh before he smiled softly at the boy. The blonde then noticed that something was off with the boy and realized that he wasn't wearing a jacket. "Dear lord you must be freezing!" ~Ashton~ Posted January 26, 2013 Share Posted January 26, 2013 The smaller boy let out a rather nervous laugh before nodding slowly, reaching up while supporting the small animal with one arm and giving it a smooth pat in it's head with the other. He smiled up at the stranger before him, feeling rather bad the dog had targeted him even though it seemed to want to do the man no harm, even though of course it was not his dog. Frowning a bit when he noted the outstretched jacket he shook his head while carefully setting the pup down beside him and motioning a slight no.
