Fuyuki Takanori or as his mother and close friends would call him, Fuyu, leaned idly against the building a few of his friends were occupying. It was night club that he had been dragged to, well not really against his will considering he loved drinking with friends as much as the next guy but when invited by a good friend to have a nice night out, one wouldn't appreciate the fact that they had been invited out just so that good friend could try and hook said one up with a guy he met through another friend. Honestly, just because Fuyu was gay and that sort of thing wasn't talked about much in japan without poking fun of the LGBT community didn't mean he couldn't find a guy for himself. Besides that Fuyu simply wasn't looking for a relationship though he did appreciate the fact that his buddy was thinking about him even if he went about it the wrong way. He wasn't wasted just a little buzzed, he hadn't planned to get drunk, he was mature enough to make the better decision when he had work the next morning. As his mother had once told him, 'only get wasted when you can afford to do so' and he could at times but tonight was not one of those nights. Fuyu reached into his back pocket, pulling out a box of cigarettes and then proceeded to light one after placing it between his chapped lips. He had an awful habit of licking and biting his lips. Fuyu had only stepped out of the club for a minute, he told his friends he needed to take a breathe and by that he meant he needed to smoke. a bad habit indeed that made it almost impossible for him to relax anywhere in a public building, restaurant, or nightclub even but standing in the cold winter night with his cigarettes was still worth it even if his ears were getting chilly. He made a mental note to buy earmuffs, they weren't very manly but whatever. It was better than his current situation, freezing in the snow. He checked the time, he could have stayed out for a bit longer but he really didn't want to see his probably already drunk friend push the blind date on him any further, it'd be pretty embarrassing actually. Fuyu decided he'd call it a night, it had been kinda fun even with the random guy tagging along who wasn't that bad but still. So the blonde started heading down the sidewalk, he'd text his friend later about his whereabouts but he'd probably not notice his absence anyway if he was already hammered. "You're leaving already?" The light blonde turned his head around to see the other gay guy he was suppose to hit it off with, well according to his good friend. "Oh...yeah tell Hajime I said night and thanks for inviting me out but I have work in the morning so I gotta call it a night." Fuyu turned back around and began walking away once more as the other called out to him. "I can at least give you a ride home." He considered it for not even a second, he was pretty sure that the guy was expecting something to happen between the two of them and even if not one night stands wasn't how Fuyu operated usually. Fuyu was more classical, he preferred a real connection with his partners and genuine feelings developing. "Ah no thanks, I'm just gonna take the subway but make sure Hajime doesn't get too wasted, he loves to go overboard sometimes. Night!" Fuyu waved off to the other guy as he headed down the snowy sidewalk, his cigarette almost burning out and a chill running down his spine. Not because he was cold but because something felt off, he wasn't sure why but it felt like he wasn't alone though he shrugged it off as paranoia. Honestly he shouldn't have been so stubborn and accepted the ride home.

"In here." A man in a black suit opened a door for Jun and gestured for him to step inside. Jun complied stepping into the luxurious office, hands slipped into the insides of his pockets as he glanced around at the tasteful looking office. Luxury was something he wasn't quite familiar with. "The boss is still in a meeting so you'll have to wait inside." The man in black closed the door and left Jun alone in the room. The tall young man steadily wandered around the room, feeling the fabric of the chairs and holding small but no doubt expensive trinkets in the palms of his hands. How did I get here? He knew exactly how he got into this kind of situation. Jun's older sister, recently divorced, discovered she had a tumor yet it took her a whole two weeks to tell Jun because she knew that the expenses were too high of a cost for her and didn't want to bother her younger brother who was at the prime point in his life. Jun was in college majoring in game design, had a cute girlfriend who he had been close friends with his whole life, and a well paying part-time job. Thinking back on how she tried to hide her circumstances made him cringe, his sister was putting others first once again in order to avoid other peoples suffering. But once he learned about the tumor he immediately took her to the hospital and discussed the situation with the doctors there and it was clear, the doctor could not put her through surgery without knowing that they could pay the fines. Jun couldn't afford the bills, try as he might, so he received a loan from people who had tons of money lying around, the Yakuza. Now to repay the debt he was working as a bodyguard, for how long was to be determined. Jun set down the small trinket that he was fondling in his hands and proceeded to walk around the office, he suddenly stopped as his eyes fell onto the luxurious chair seated behind a desk. It was the Bosses seat, he began to wonder what kind of person sat in that chair. Was he kind and generous or possessive and cruel, possibly a strange combination of the two? Jun had no clue. The raven haired male only knew that he would have to work for the man until his debts were paid in full.

His father was a gifted pastry chef, and his mother was equally talented in making traditional treats- wagashi. Seiji took after his mother in many ways, and his expertise in preference was one of them- learning to make them as soon as he was old enough to. However, that alone wasn't enough to keep the bakery running, and Seiji was not skilled enough at western pastries to maintain it. He didn't know how his father did it alone for so many years before now. Today, though, was the start of a new chapter for Maison Wagashi, since Seiji was able to find and hire a pastry chef who was very, very good! Today was his first day working there, so the wagashi-maker was particularly motivated to have the place spotless before he arrived. Mopping was the last thing he needed to do, and he smiled at himself, pleased. It didn't take him long to get back into the habits of taking care of a bakery.
