I need help. I've been searching for hours on a oneshot manga I forgot. Its about a doctor who wants to live a life without any troubles. He, then, rescues a boy named Rei, a cannon fodder who spent most of his life in a brothel run by yakuza. Rei explains that he was named such because he doesn't have a penny to his name(rei= zero) and that his mother died of depression due to her terminal illness which, I'm guessing, she got from her job as a prostitute. Anyway, Rei decides to repay the doctor with the only precious and valuable thing he has, a scarf. The doctor refuses because of his fear of losing his life without troubles. He abandons Rei. Rei, determined to repay the doctor with his scarf, endured the winter days and nights waiting for the doctor on his way to work. The doctor, observing Rei from afar, grew worried. Rei was persistent, he even washed his scarf in a nearby park. He wouldn't budge from his spot. One night, his body gave out and collapsed on the street due to hypothermia. The next day, doctor rushed towards a crowd of people, gossiping about the poor boy who was sent to the hospital. The doctor, under the impression that Rei had died rushed towards the nearby hospital where he worked. He finds Rei alive and well. He decides to adopt him and become part of his family. The end. Anywho, I'm looking for this manga. Does anybody know the title or the mangaka?
