Hey everyone. (: My name's Signe (pronounced sigh'knee) and I just wanted to introduce myself. BL means a lot to me. I've probably been a casual fan of yaoi/bl/queershipping since late high school but it's only been in the past year or so that I realized my sexual orientation aligned so much with the protagonists of these stories! So in a span of 3 weeks I think I've made lots of use of this site so, so much . (I definitely look forward to donating monthly in the future once I have the income!) And just today I've started a group. Looking forward to pimping it out further as the year progresses! We'll see. Greetings! ~* Too enthusiastic for my own good*~ As you can tell from the location of this thread I am a newbie here of course. I have been in many forums before but to be honest this is my first forum on this topic. I mean I am no stranger to the topic persay of course. I am Ivvy, I am in the manga world considered an old lady as I am 31 years old *hangs head* but that is okay, as I am very childish at heart. I am a free lance writer. I love all things dark and complex. Human nature fascinates me because it is so complicated and confusing. While being so simple at the same time. I also paint and draw for fun to pass the time. And I love love love music in all forms, nothing compares to getting lost inside of a song! Just to be transported to a far away place inside your mind that doesn't exist anywhere else based on the creativity of another. The arts really are amazing. *Kayyy* At this point you may be thinking ok this person is a walking contradiction.... because I said I love all things dark twisted and complicated and then I went and got all whimsy and squee there over the arts, but believe me the things that make me go squee at times are also kinda monochrome and sorrowful. I am an odd duck. I tend to find the strangest things to be lovely. But I guess it takes all kinds to make the world go round right? *Sweat drop* Manga's that I love include: Loveless, Back Stage!, Love Stage!, Hybrid Child, Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, Jun Jou Romantica, Umi Ni Nemuru Hana I also really enjoyed the lite novels for Back Stage! But I cant find the 3rd volume for it in English and its making me nuts! I love Rock music, Dubstep, Classical, and well just about any music that can evoke emotion out of me. I can be a bit jaded at times. And go along with the motions of how I feel a situation needs to be dealt with. But if someone or something can actually crack my shell and get to me then I am amazed because it is a very hard thing to do. Hi! My name is Amber. I've been looking for a few places to settle in and rp on and I stumbled across this forum and decided to give it a shot. I have a great deal of Original characters- but I also play some cannon characters for various tv shows and video games. If you want a list you can always ask me- I will probably end up putting a list on my characters topic once I make it. I guess I'll give everyone some info about myself irl first. I live in Louisiana and I'm going to school to become a geologist. I have an older sister with 7 years between us and she lives in North Carolina. I work two jobs, both part-time, both are retail and one is with a music store and the other is a book store. School coupled with work means I might be slow with my posts and responses so please be patient with me. If you ever think I forgot about our rps though just drop me a message to remind me. Enough about that stuff- I'm sure if you really want to know more about me irl, you'll just ask. Haha. I came to this site looking for other rpers that are interested in possibly doing some stories with me on the side- preferably some long term rp partners. I am kind of a geek so a lot of my fandoms and interests are kind of dorky- Tolkien and D&D being higher up there on the list for me. I also am interested in the Marvel fandom, TF2, SPN, Final Fantasy, Elder Scrolls, and Pacific Rim. I've got plenty more but those are just a few off of the top of my head. I have quite a few odd kinks and would be hoping to find others that are interested in experimenting with them or who also enjoy them. If you've got any questions about my custom kinks just message me and we can chat about them. I should also mention now: I'm not SUPER into the 'traditional' uke/seme play and dominance thing (it's just not appealing to me). I am more interested in switching the dominance roles at times as well as the positions (it's a little more realistic to me).

Some yaoi mangas I like are Hybrid Child, Lovers Doll, and Sorenari ni Shinken nandesu. Being an English major, I'm very picky with stories. I like it, when authors/artists can make me emotional. I also have high standards for character development and plot. Along with my yaoi, I also like supernatural/fantasy themes, like Momoiro Tengu, Konya mo Nemurenai, and Mauri to Ryuu. I'm beginning to like older uke and younger seme pairings too. I'm a big fan of Mishima-sensei's work. I guess my favorite yaoi anime is Junjou Romantica; However, there aren't that many to choose from. We need more yaoi anime! One airing every season would be a dream. I suppose I'll just have to bear with fanservice and imagine pairings between Kuroshitsuji and Free! characters. Hmm~ I think that should do it for a disorganized introduction. Ah, I rp too. Hullo there folks. After a long while of being out of commission, figuratively and literally, I've decided to get back into the forum roleplay scene. While I had quite a few searches into LBGTQA forums, I don't think I'd ever find the same feel as a yaoi forum, as backwards as sometimes they will be. I'm a writer with more time under his belt than perhaps wants to admit, an artist, musician, mesh modeler, 3D builder...I've got my hands in a lot of creative outlets. I'm happily committed to my relationship with my girlfriend, and roleplay with her as well, but after writing with only one person for a while, you begin to want some varying styles I think. So here I am. Hope I don't make anybody too angry.
