  7. [“I know…that I’ll been dreaming of you, that this will be such a strong memory…”] Julius smiled. That had been his goal from the beginning—to make this so memorable that Yukie would never forget it. “If this appears in your dreams every night, I’ll take that as a victory. I said I would make tonight memorable, did I not? And you’ve given me equally wonderful memories to look back on—and I’m not just talking about today. You really went out of your way to make time for me this week. Thank you… I can’t describe with words how much this means to me. You are my treasure~” Julius looked at Yukie as if he had hung the moon and the stars in the sky just for him. He was glad Yukie liked this. He wanted to show him how much he appreciated all the small and big things he had done. ["..I want to marry you..(..)..just us forever."] Although Julius was leading the dance, it felt as though Yukie was the one sweeping him off his feet. He missed the beat of the song and nearly tripped over himself, but he didn’t look away from Yukie’s face. The words echoed in his mind, over and over. Each time, his thoughts short-circuited, and his heart raced like an engine pushing toward the finish line. Wow… was Yukie proposing to him again? Because it certainly sounded like it. Julius had to blink back tears that suddenly welled in his eyes—not from sadness, but from being overwhelmed. He hadn’t expected Yukie to say anything like that, yet it filled him with happiness. It meant he wasn’t the only one looking forward to marriage. Julius wanted to be Yukie’s spouse, to be bound to him in every possible way. This beautiful man was tying knots around his heart. Julius could feel warmth spreading through him. “I want that too… I want you to be completely mine—in mind, body, soul, and by law. There’s no one else I’d rather spend my life with than you. When you go, my heart goes with you, and I’ll feel hollow until you return to me…” Their dance slowly came to a stop as they became lost in their own little world. Luckily, no one bumped into them—though eventually, they might be in the way. -------------------------------- Yumro didn’t answer right away. The question settled into him heavier than anything Haru had said before. He stared at the fire, watching the flames twist around the logs, listening to the steady crackle as if it might offer him an easier truth to give. It didn’t. His jaw tightened slightly. He had expected questions about strength, about control, about survival. Those were simple. Those had answers he could hand over cleanly. This… didn’t. Yumro leaned forward, resting his forearms on his knees again, eyes fixed on the heart of the fire. When he finally spoke, his voice was quieter than before—steady, but carrying a weight he didn’t bother to hide. “It didn’t haunt me at first.” The honesty came out blunt. He didn’t dress it up. “I didn’t feel much of anything, actually.” His fingers curled slightly together, knuckles brushing as if grounding himself in the present. “I was already angry. Already… empty in a lot of ways. So when it happened the first time, it just felt like finishing something I’d already started inside myself.” A pause. “That’s the part I’m not proud of.” The fire popped again, sending a brief scatter of sparks upward. Yumro’s eyes followed them for a moment before they disappeared into the dark. “I got good at it. Too good.” His tone hardened, not with pride—but with something closer to quiet disgust. “People started to know my name. The kind of people you don’t want knowing you. They respected me… feared me… because I did things most wouldn’t.” He exhaled through his nose, slow and controlled. “And I let that be enough for a long time.” Another pause stretched, heavier now. “But it catches up to you.” His gaze lowered slightly, unfocused—not on the fire anymore, but somewhere deeper, somewhere older. “Not all at once. It’s not like the stories. No ghosts standing over you in the night.” A faint, humorless breath escaped him. “It’s quieter than that.” His voice dropped. “It’s in the way you stop seeing people as people if you’re not careful. The way it becomes… easy. Too easy. And once it’s easy, you stop questioning it.” His hand shifted, pressing lightly against his knee. “That’s when it becomes dangerous. Not just for them—for you.” Yumro finally turned his head, looking at Haru—not with authority, not with expectation, but with something far more deliberate. “I don’t want you to ever get to that point.” There was no hesitation in his voice. “No matter what path you walk, there’s a line.” He gestured faintly toward the fire, as if drawing it there between them. “Defending yourself… protecting someone… that’s one thing. Sometimes you don’t get a choice in and just has to act fast.” His expression tightened slightly. “But choosing it? Letting it become a part of you? That’s different.” A second passed. “And once you cross that line for the wrong reasons… it’s a lot harder to come back from than people think.” The wind shifted, but Yumro barely noticed. His focus on where it mattered, when Haru’s last question came. ["Would you both still want me…?"] For the first time since the conversation began, Yumro’s expression softened in a way that wasn’t his usal self. He reached out, adjusting the blanket slightly where it had slipped from Haru’s shoulder. “When people grow,” he said quietly, “they change. That’s not something you can avoid. Not in this world. It’s normal.” His hand lingered for a second before he pulled it back. “There’s a difference between changing… and losing yourself.” His eyes steadied. “You won’t be unwanted for changing.. But if you start becoming someone you don’t recognize—someone we wouldn’t trust, someone who stops caring about where that line is—then it won’t matter what anyone else thinks. You’ll feel it yourself.” His tone didn’t harden but it still carried so much depth. “And I won’t let you go that far without dragging you back.. whether you like it or not.” There was no threat in it. Just certainty. Yumro leaned back slightly, glancing at the fire again, his voice quieter now. “I’ve done a lot of things I can’t undo. And I will live with that. That’s my responsibility.” he said and faintly exhaled. “But you?” He shook his head. “You don’t need to carry that kind of weight. I don’t want you to become a version me, or even Haruh. I wish for you to become a better person than I ever was” Yumro would kept carrying all that, just so innocent kids like Haru wouldn’t. Another brief silence settled, but this one was less suffocating than before. “You may come back different…” Yumro muttered, eyes still on the fire, “that’s fine, we wouldn’t stop loving you... just make sure you come back as someone you want to be.” -------- ----------- ----------- Shan felt a rush of excitement when Haruhi smiled and said he would love to teach him. It wasn’t the first time Haruhi had offered, but this time was different—this time, he actually stood up and began gathering supplies. The quiet promise had turned into something real, and that made Shan’s chest flutter with anticipation. He followed Haruhi inside, watching closely as he selected what they would need. Shan’s eyes lingered on each item, curiosity evident in the way he leaned in slightly, trying to understand their purpose without asking too many questions all at once. Shan had seen musical notes before—on sheets left open, in books—but recognizing them was very different from understanding them. They might as well have been symbols from another language. It reminded him of when he first encountered written words. Back then, they had been just as foreign. If Haru hadn’t patiently read to him during those early days, back when Shan had still been just a shadow on the floor—he might never have learned at all. Haru had always loved reading, and his enthusiasm made it easier for Shan to follow along. Over time, the strange shapes had begun to form meaning. Now Shan could read on his own, slowly but surely, and he had even started working through numbers with the help of a math book. Still, music felt like an entirely new world. He glanced at the sheets Haruhi had picked up, then back at him, curiosity finally getting the better of his restraint. “You said you learned to play the violin when you were little, right?” Shan asked, tilting his head slightly. “Are the notes the same, no matter the instrument?” There was a quiet eagerness in his voice. He had already fallen in love with the piano—the way it sounded, the way it felt beneath his fingers— but that didn’t mean he was against learing to play other instruments. If anything, it made him want to learn how to play those too.

I greatly appreciate your generosity and haven't been able to thank you enough! I'm sorry you had to have such a frustrating experience due to a few ungrateful rotten eggs - may they forever live in a bubble of their own hydrogen sulphide and be forever repulsed by their own fumes... Hate Me.... But I Love You (closed to MasterSeme) 18+

Cody tilts his head and slowly nods his head, "oh... I see. Well depending on the size of the house the family is in, a big family wouldn't really be a problem," he rubs the back of his head. "Does the son and the daughter have jobs," he tilts his head to the side. He slowly nods his head, "yeah I suppose it is better that way especially if your father is moving out." He did know it could be a pain to have to find a new place to stay at.
