Fang listened as Sora informed him that he'd been out since yesterday. He hadn't pushed himself that hard in years. With this information, he was able to piece together what happened. He sighed under his breath, feeling a little guilty for causing so much trouble for Ray and Sora. He flinched when he felt Sora brush a stray lock of hair from his face. It was a gentle and kind gesture that he hadn't been expecting but deeply missed. The tension in his body softened. [ “You scared the hell out of me, (....) I thought—”] Fang stared at the ground. Even tho Sora cut himself off, he felt a heavy weight in his chest. A mix between fear, anxiousness, and remorse. Sora was worried about him, and...he was sorry. Even if he didnt say it out loud, Fang knew. The silence that followed was thick and heavy. Fang wasn't quite sure what to say, much less how to fix the growing friction between them. Was there a difference between protecting and controlling him? To his suprise, Sora didn't scold him, instead he sighed in frustration and nuzzled into his shoulder. He could feel the heat coming off of his body...he had missed being this close to him. [ “You should rest more."] A small smile came across his face as his eyes followed Sora's, glancing at the IV that was still taped to his arm. "probably," he muttered. [ "Are you hungry or thirsty?.. should I find Ray"] Fang was quiet for a moment. He was hungry, but he didn't want this moment to end. "Ain't no need-- I'm here." Ray hollered as he came down the stairs. When he entered the room, he was wearing different clothes. A simple black shirt and jeans. " Im heading out to get some grub. Yall better eat what I bring ya, no complaining. Especially you-" He pointed a finger at Fang. " ...yes sir..." He muttered, sounding like a kid who was being scolded. Ray searched the room for his car keys, grabbing them by the cashier counter. He grabbed a coat that was hanging from the wall before looking back at Sora and Fang. " I'll have you know that the kid hasn't left your side since I picked you up from the side of the road...I ain't trying to get in your business Fang, but you dragged me into it. You owe that boy an explanation...you get me." His voice stern, like and annoyed father. They locked eyes with each other. Fang searching his face. What did he mean by that? "I'll be back later....don't do anything stupid. " His steps quickly fading, followed by the slamming of a door. Once again...he and Sora were alone but now he was anxious. What had Ray told him while he was out? He hesitated before taking Sora's hand, avoiding eye contact as he spoke. "What do you...want to know..."
