But could still sound fondly. He stay around Haru in a swirl of black tendrils, keeping to the shadown, like he wasn’t even there..

Yukie sighed a little at Kai’s gentle touch the man secretly enjoying every second of it, it was comforting though he would never admit it.Sitting and staring at the tv Yukie didn’t protest as he was cared for and bandaged. He wouldn’t lie that for once the pain was rather intense and he needed the care. While he had been beaten before and came to Kai for a break…this client had gone to the extreme. As Kai settled down more beside him Yukie looked over a little as he felt Kai’s head rest against his shoulder. Yukie wouldn’t ever admit it, he would stay cold and distance himself from any affection he knew falling for Kai wasn’t allowed. He was a fallen man, and one in a dangerous position where Kai would get hurt if his “Boss” thought he was trying to get out or get away. It was better for them both if Yukie just existed in his life…he knew though if Kai ever left him it would be the end of his safe place. Sitting and watching the tv numbly Yukie finished his beer only to catch Kai trying to hold his hand. Yukie of course flinching at the touch as he found the softness of Kai’s hand holding his rather nice. “I’m fine..…It was just a little disagreement…nothings broken and I’m not seriously hurt. You should worry more about your own life.” Yukie stated his voice cold as he spoke towards Kai the escort truly believing his words since in his mind if he didn’t end up in a hospital he wasn’t excused from his work. Taking out the pack he pulled one out his fingers shaking as Yukie took a few minutes to light it before finally taking a deep breath and exhaling out the window. He was in hot water at work, dangerously hot water. He knew his boss was going to beat his ass on sight for even having the gall to fight back against his client and Yukie, he had fought back dirty and hard. The man he had left in the hotel room bleeding out definitely had a few deep stab wounds from the broken bottle Yukie had shoved into his stomach. It had been his only way of escape from a torture filled weekend. Yukie knew he needed to lay low…buy himself some time and hide away just long enough for his boss to cool down. There was also the fact he lost the payment…it was so much…he could earn the money away from his boss…he had done it before when the men skipped paying. Yukie could pay his “Boss” back what he lost and it would be less of a beating, and he would be back in his “Boss’s” graces and allowed back home. It would be easy right? Just two weeks tops. Taking a final drag of his cigarette Yukie put it out in the windowsill and breathed out the fumes before closing the window as he looked down at Kai. ”I….I might need to stay for a bit. Can’t exactly go back to work looking like this…I…could stay until some bruising heals.” Yukie said with a small frown as he looked down at Kai not willing to let his heart fall for the male. “I…I need a place to stay until my second job starts in the evening….I do freelance work in my spare time. I’ll take care of your place while you work…cook and laundry and such.” Yukie explained trying to play off his acceptance of staying. Yukie had decided he was going to do easier clients for a while until he looked better until he could pay what he owed. “I need a Fucking shower. I smell like shit” Yukie grumbled as he went to go help himself to a hot shower not even having noticing the whole time his words were slurring as he walked towards the bathroom. He hadn’t ever touched such things the male being so careful in keeping away from drugs and only doing small amounts when safe. The scrubs at least allowed for him to comfortably move around and were just a touch tight against his body when be bent and was reaching like this. Whoever he reached up it showing off his toned body mostly his stomach and lower back. At times he couldn’t help but feel the outfit was deliberate after his first day joining since he was the only one working in this department and from what he knew his colleagues wore much more normal attire. ”Ah! Found it! It was in the wrong spot sir.” Haru explained as he smiled down at the man before climbing down and handing his boss the medicine. “Somehow it got in the wrong area, I could have swore I cleaned up in here last week well enough.” Haru admitted as he awkwardly smiled and turned to put away the ones he had pulled down. “Haru, all the students being mentored are going out tonight with there bosses, sort of a celebration for their hard work. I would like to take you out for drinks with everyone. You’ve been such a hard worker for me over the last six months.” Tadashiro said with a smile as he gently patted Haru’s back. “We can go together and meet up with everyone after work it would be a nice end to your apprenticeship here.” Tadashiro stated as Haru smiled kindly. Haru knew he couldn’t reject his bosses offer since he had rejected him from day one. Haru had no choice but to be flexible now since his boss would be writing his letter of work recommending and his skillset proving how well he did for the last six months. ”I think I would be free tonight, plus working so long I think I could use a break and a chance to see all my other colleagues.” Haru admitted as he smiled politely at the old man knowing he was in for a night of drinking and hopefully a way to let the man down easily. -later- “Yeah Tadashiro, I came where you said but I don’t see you. I think…I might have taken the wrong bus.” Haru stated as he looked around the glowing night light and colorful scene around him something he had never seen before. Standing in the street Haru sighed as he checked his phone waiting for his bosses message back or hell even a phone call. Haru cursed a little kicking himself for not going with his collages but well he couldn’t go out in his work clothes it was easier to go home and change. Standing in the middle of the red district chaos Haru had dressed in what his co workers had suggested a bright and fun shirt and some nice black jeans basically an outfit he felt hot in. Checking his phone again Haru was oblivious to the world around him as he called Tadashiro again and then his colleagues all of his calls going to voicemail as they were all four drinks in at a bar only six buildings down from where Haru was. “Maybe I should ask for directions.” Haru whispered as he looked around and then to a building busy with tons of men dressed much like him (workers dressed flashy) and went inside to find someone in charge not knowing he was going straight into a lions den.
