He felt the shift of authority surrounding the other and the change of personality even before they spoke. Kaito wolf was very formal. Knew how to adress Asher by his title in the exact manner. It was so weird hearing Kaito’s voice speak to him in that way. He was more used to the informal way Kaito spoke to him, it wasn't unpleasant just driffent from usual.. "Nice too meet you Nova" he greeted her back with a calm calm smile. For the last part he wasn't sure what to say. "I did what any man should do in that situation" he didn't feel like that was something he needed any thanks for. He had simply helped as it had required, even before he'd learned Kaito was his fated mate. "I'm still wrapping my head around it all myself and I understand this must have come quite sudden for both of you too." Asher looked into Kaito’s eyes. "But you don't seem as shocked about any of this as I had imagined, Nova" The name rolled pleasantly off his tongue. "So.. well the reason why I asked to speak with you was because, I want to meet you. And secondly get to know more about you guys... as you well can imagine, settle my curiosity" Asher hadn’t expected he'd actually get to speak with his mates wolven side like this so easy. Then he paused to get the other's response and nodded. Then came the first question he'd wanted to know for a long time. "Nova. Do you know why you guys are in danger?.. is it because of what you two are? A mix, or is there something more behind it.?" He asked in case Nova knew anything. Some wolves were closer to the goddess that the rest and some wolves she spoke too and share her knowledge with, to help them overcome struggles on earth. Chester wasn't one of those wolves they called 'touched by the goddess'. But since the goddess loved all of her creations equally no matter the circumstances, he wondered if Nova was one of those. Since her life within Kaito were bound to be a struggle for their very survival. "You don't haft to tell me anything you can't share. But one can't fight what one can't see. I want to know how I can protect you and keep you by my side.." he paused realizing what he was saying and bite his lip almost shyly. "if that is what you two want of course" he wouldn't lock them up, or make them feel trapped with him. It was still a very new relationship between them all. @mik3la
