Shan smiled softly "I'll tell you everything," he promised without a second thought. He shifted slightly to make it easier for Haru to lean against him, not seeming to notice the extra weight resting on his shoulder. To him, it felt perfectly natural. Ever since they had become friends. "There are so many classes," Shan began enthusiastically. "I thought it would just be reading and writing all day, but there's so much more." He counted them off on his fingers. "We've been learning history, geography..." His eyes brightened. "There's even a class about different kinds of herbal effects and toxins. We haven't cast any spells yet, but Julius showed us how energy flows through the body." He paused before laughing sheepishly. "I didn't understand all of it." His embarrassment didn't last long. "Oh! And there's a huh greenhouse!" he added excitedly. "It's enormous. They grow all sorts of plants there. Some of them I've never seen before... I kept wondering if you'd know all their names." Shan chuckled quietly to himself. "I think that is one of my favorite places so far." He continued talking for quite a while, telling Haru about the others teachers, the giant library that somehow seemed to stretch on forever, the bustling cafeteria, and the students he'd met. Every little detail that had fascinated him found its way into the conversation. As he talked, Shan gradually realized Haru had become much quieter. After a while Haru's eyes were still open, but only barely. The tension that had lingered around him since returning home had begun to fade, his breathing settling into a calm, steady rhythm. Shan couldn't help smiling. He looked...comfortable. ["Mind staying here... just... for tonight?"] Shan looked at him for a moment before a small smile spread across his face. "Of course I wouldn’t mind." The answer came natural. They'd slept together more times than Shan could count since the was introduced to eachother. But... It had been a while since the last time, half a year. Long enough for Haru to sound like Shan might reject him. He reached over and tugged another blanket free from the tangled pile Haru called a nest, spreading it over them both before settling comfortably beside him. "You don't have to ask, you know." Shan said in a gentle voice. As Haru scooted closer, Shan instinctively leaned against him, just as they always had from way before. The familiarity brought an unexpected sense of relief. For months, he'd worried about Haru, whether he was warm enough, whether he felt lonely at night. Now with Haru home, Shan realized only just how much he'd been worrying and thinking about Haru. "I'll stay." There wasn't a hint of hesitation in his voice. "We can talk until we're too tired to keep our eyes open...tomorrow is the weekend anyway." Shan smiled to himself. The two settled into a comfortable and familiar routine talking for around an hour more before the exhaustion won at the end. Both fell asleep on Haru's single sized bed. Small for two people but alright for two kids. ------------------------------ Then Yukie sat up and suddenly he reached out for him. Julius made a surprised sound as Yukie lifted him up bridestyle even with the blanket and took him to the kitchen. Julius's arms were draped around Yukie’s shoulders. His mate's body felt so strong and warm, that Julius couldn't help but blush as he felt his heart skipping in his chest. Half a year.. That was how long it had taken since the last time he had felt anyone this close. Had someone lift him up in the air like he weight nothing although being a man himself. It wasn’t the feeling of powerlessness he felt it was the zero gravity effect, something that Yukie seemed to do effortlessly. He wasn’t afraid of Yukie dropping him. He trusted Yukie completely with his own body in this situation. The thing making his pule race were something deeper. A hunger that wasn’t one you could simply place on the table. The hunger responded to sexual stimulation. Yukie’s touch, his kisses, his voice, everything of him made the witch painfully aware of just how much he had been ignoring over these months. When Julius was placed on the counter he looked down embarrassed as he adjust the blanket around his waist. He wasn’t naked. He still wore the dress shirt he had fallen asleep in, but his shoes and pants were gone. He was both greatful and sorry about that seeing as he only had his boxers and the blanket to hid away his arousal. ["So, while I cook, what are your weekend plans like?"] "Plans?.." Julius blinked for a moment before his brain followed. "Well.. I was gonna spend the days catching up on som rest. Then finish some paperwork and make sure the staff and teachers gets their pay at the ende of the month... other than that.. I didn't plan further" he explained the things he couldn't just ignore. There was a lot of stuff to be handled. Hearing about Yukie wanting to make up to him for lost time by wine and dine him was very thoughtful and sweet. "I'm not turning down your invitation, but you don't have to go far out of your way. Honestly, I would love chilling on the couch with you while watching a movie. Just don't push yourself if you are tired" A faint flush colored his cheeks as he admitted, "I've already spent months imagining us doing simple ordinary things" He murmured quietly but still smiling bashfully,because Yukie wanted to spend time with him. Even if it was a part of feeling guilty for not being able to for months. "For you, I'll leave my calendar open" Julius said as he watched Yukie swing the cooking utensils around as he made food. The kitchen began to smell nice. He caught the guilty look across Yukie face as he kept glancing at him. Immediately Julius shook his head. "Don’t." The single word was gentle but firm. Before any mistakes could take root, Julius continued. "I can already see what you're thinking.. I am sparing you the trouble." "This wasn't your doing or fault." "I made poor decisions because I was lonely." He held Yukie's gaze. "Those were my choices." His expression brightened enough to ease the weight of the conversation. "So." He drew in a slow breath, letting the scent of food fill the his nose. "I will eat every bite." A tiny smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. "Mostly because it smells wonderful." He paused. "And perhaps a little because I'd rather not discover what happens if I refuse an order from you." A spark of quiet mischief appeared in his eyes. "I suspect I'd lose that battle rather quickly." Julius didn't take his eyes off him. Yukie was just so fu#king handsome and manly for providing for his needs. Julius wasn't helpless but having someone willing to care for him was heartwarming and hot. He was practical drooling in his seat while being painfully aware that although he was aroused. He didn’t have the energy to act on it right now. Slowly the hard bulge in his boxers fell back and that was when Julius crawled off the counter and pulled out two plates from the overhead cabinet to show Yukie were the things was. "We can always re-organize the kitchen if you don’t like it. I just put things up my way as I used it." He explained. @Yukonwolfspirit
