I'm not sure if this was your issue, but I initially had trouble getting the game to run with alphadierom, but I resolved it after some trial and error. I dragged alphadierom into the same folder as omegavampire, ran alphadierom as administrator, and clicked all the check boxes on the side, then dragged the 'omegavampire.exe' file on top of alphadierom ^^;; The game opened for me after that and runs well on my relatively new laptop!
