When Yukie came to it was about a week after the terrible things that had happened at Kai’s place. Yukie laid alone, yet the other half of the bed was messy as if he had acquired a guest unknowingly. Looking from his side of the bed he tried to move, his body refusing the request rather harshly as it screamed out in pain at the smallest attempt. Clutching his broken and bruised ribs Yukie let out a small scream of pain his body trembling as he clutched at his side. It was about five minutes till the pain dulled before Yukie noticed that he was strangely bandaged…and it was done rather well almost medically well. Sitting up very slowly with much agony Yukie with each movement fought the urge to vomit as he looked looked around the dimly lit room once sitting up against the pillows. The basement was furnished like a high end apartment, the only issue was no windows, but there was a padlocked and shut door that showed a little light through that unknowing to Yukie lead to a beautiful backyard. Yukie looked down at the floor the long chain heavy as it was bolted to the middle of the floor leading back to the bed where he lay. Yukie could only quickly realize in horror where the chain actually ended as he felt the heavy metal around his ankle. Turning a little more Yukie looked over to the far end of the bedroom over to the only stairs going up to what looked like a very heavy and secure door. ”Good morning Bunny~” Mishka sang out over a speaker as Yukie flinched looking around the room as he noticed the bolted in speakers and the cameras everywhere watching his every move. “You have a doctor visiting in an hour, I’ll have your caretaker bring you something to eat. I had to step away but I’ll be back soon.” Mishka sang out as he spoke through his phone the man having left the house to tend to the business and deal with any issues Kai might bring since Mishka was being very very careful to avoid the thorn in his side. Yukie could only sit in discomfort as he tried to calm his breathing his body shaking as he realized what hell he was in. He was trapped. He would most likely die here either forgotten or by Miskha’s angry hand. The realization made his stomach churn as he covered his mouth to stop his body from vomiting the only distraction being the sudden open of the door as a guardian walked through with a tray of food and sat it down before leaving Yukie alone again in his hellish isolation. Yukie had forced down the food but, he didn’t taste it.The violent beating he had received was fresh on his mind with every bite he took. He was terrified to piss Mishka off while still so hurt…he should have run…he should have begged Kai to not go back to move somewhere else. He knew deep down it wouldn’t have stopped Mishka but they would have had so much longer together. ”Fuck.” Yukie whispered out as hot tears stung his cheeks. “Fuck!” Yukie snapped as he threw the empty tray across the room damned be his pain. Glaring at the door as he heard door open in response to his actions he watched as the guard sighed deeply and picked up the dishes and tray only to carry them out the man leaving Yukie to tantrum to his hearts content. The job was for an in home care patient and it paid extremely well, his experience made him qualified and well desirable in this business. Upon meeting Mishka the interview went smoothly and Haruhi disclosed his medical issues which Mishka had no issue with finding the memory loss a deal in his favor making him pay Haruhi even more. When he finally did meet his new client and was lead down to the basement he was met with Yukie who was still unconscious and bleeding heavily. After six hours of work and some blood transfusions he was able to stabilize him enough to not require a hospital. After that he came daily for health checks in the morning and evening. This had begun his new routine of waking up going to his new job and then heading to his final classes Haruhi being in his final year of schooling and only six months away from his final doctor requirements. ”Go ahead and get to work. Make sure his pain is eased and he takes his vitamins.” Mishka stated as he mentioned to his men that followed with shopping bags they had picked up of new clothes for Yukie and and few other personal things. Haruhi nodded as he worked methodically and went through the motions charting everything before putting out medications for Yukie the drugs being a slow wean just like Ari had wanted. ”Bunny, when you’re done taking your medicine I’ll have you bathed and cleaned up. We have a very important decision to make. We need new rings don’t we Bunny~ this way you’ll behave better. You kept taking your old one off” Mishka stated as he smiled at Yukie setting down a magazine. “We can re-honeymoon once you’re a bit better at least well enough to travel.” Mishka added as he lounged on the couch and turned on the tv. For all Haru knew Yukie was heavily into drugs and had been desperate enough to steal them resulting in being so badly wounded. This prison was for his safety while he got better. Yukie could nods quietly staring at the pills in the cup before taking them the bitter feeling of getting his way, of detoxing came at a heavy price of doing it on Mishkas terms. At any moment Mishka could make him start over. He could easily spike his food or drink and make Yukie suffer in agony as he fought withdrawals. For now it was easier to be obedient to do as told. ”Oh! You two are married? How sweet. How long have you been married?” Haruhi asked as he unwrapped bandages and cleaned the wounds Yukie sitting numb as he stared down at his shaking hands. ”Oh? Five years this year darling. We tied the knot rather young and rather quickly. We’ve been in marital bliss ever since.” Mishka explained as he smirked and flipped through the magazine. It was true Yukie really couldn’t leave him. With Yukie having no paperwork to his name, no identification or money and only legal paperwork through Mishka he was trapped in this forced marriage. Yukie had been rather young, he was naïve and had been so desperate for love he had easily fallen for Mishkas charm until many years later when he saw his true side. That night when he had fought and ended it he had thrown the ring back to Mishka after the first beating. Mishka of course hadn’t ever let it go, Yukie was his by law and marriage…he had made sure HIS Bumny couldn’t escape. It was easy to erase someone who never existed much in a system, with no relatives…no one caring who he was…well it was all to easy to first make it impossible for Yukie to leave the country without Mishka. Mishka had done excellent work making his Bunny next seem mentally unstable in the eyes of everyone who could dare help him. In turn it paid off because Mishka now would be able to walk up anywhere in broad daylight and take him home even if Yukie kicked and screamed to try and get away. Mishka though had been patient. He knew if he gave his Bunny more freedom easier clients…he would enjoy coming back to his bed willingly…so Mishka did just that. Of course he didn’t plan on Kai stepping in, of him filling Yukies heads with life with another and love. It had thrown a huge wrench in his life when Yukie stopped coming back to his bed for his desire to be loved. Mishka was rather surprised Yukie hadn’t told Kai…maybe it was out of fear or shame…or the admittance he was so needy. Yukie had truly been so desperate for any sort of love back then that he didn’t even question Mishkas intentions. He had been putty in Mishkas fingers, and Mishka would make him that obedient again. ”There we go. Should be good for now I’ll leave the bandages off so you can help him bathe off the blood and such. Once he’s dry you can either bandage him or call and I’ll come back and do it. Or if he stays in bed he can let his skin breathe until later this evening.” Haruhi offered as he smiled kindly at Yukie and cleaned up his supplies quickly packing up and disposing of the bloodied items in a bad for a guard to take. ”I think we will wait till this evening.” Mishka stated as he set the magazine down and paid Haruhi who left easily after that, Miskha’s men quietly showing him out. Haruhi waved a little goodbye before heading back out to his waiting car that Mishka set up and arranged to pick him up and drop him off as needed. Walking back towards Yukie Mishka looked at his terrified bunny, who sat just waiting in the bed watching him compleatly frozen in fear as they were finally alone. Mishka hummed softly as he walked over, his hand trailing across the furniture as he prolonged the task before he sat down beside Yukie his fingers tracing the black and purple marks across his lovers neck down to the broken ribs and across his heavily bruised skin. ”You will NEVER betray me again Bunny.” Mishka stated as a warning as he gently pulled Yukie’s chin up kissing him softly on the lips before grabbing his lovers arm and with ease dragged him off to the bathroom. By the end of the month Mishka would make sure his Bunny would be willing to share his bed again……he would make sure he was submissive only to him again even if he had to reteach him the lesson that left him looking like this.

Sora heard the click of the lock behind him and felt the air shift instantly — heavier, warmer. Fang’s presence filled the small apartment like a pulse, steady and insistent. He didn’t need to turn around to know the look in Fang’s eyes; he could feel it. That same pull that always drawn him in no matter how hard he tried to resist. The moment they stepped through that door, Sora had felt his subconsciousness building up. The tension between them hadn’t gone away — it had only been pushed under a rug for the time they were back at Ray’s place. But now, they were alone in private and every inch of that tension surfaced all at once. When Fang’s voice broke through to him. Asking him to pick a number. Sora’s breath hitched. The sight of Fang — shirtless, eyes glowing faintly gold, chest rising with each shallow breath — sent a shiver straight through him. Sora wasn’t too sure what this was or meant. Somehow this just seemed easier for them both that actually talking. He knew Fang was scared, and nervous about telling him. Sora had agreed to waiting to give Fang time. But this time there was a deadline. He didn't think Fang wouldn’t keep his word and right now, Sora didn’t care about any of it. He wanted this. Wanted him. It was all he could think about now. “Two,” Sora said quietly, his voice unsteady as Fang caught him by the waist and buried his face into his neck. As Kai approached his apartment complex he saw Yukies motorcycle in a parking spot. A smile quickly pulled at the corner of his lips, if his bike was here, that ment he was here! Kai immediately grew excited, his pace increasing as he rushed over to his door, but when he grabbed the doorknob he realized the door wasn't locked. In that moment, he didnt think much of it, so he opened the door, with a smile on his face. "YUE! I----im..." (home.) Kai froze for a moment as the smile on his face quickly fadded. The joy in his tone dissipating as he saw the state of his apartment. All of his belongs, books, pictures, had be tossed around and destroyed. It looked like a tornado paid his apartment a vist. His couch was upside down, pillows tossed, cut open, and fluffy guts thrown all around the room. But before Kai could even process this mess, his immediate thought was Yue. "Yue!" He dropped his bag and rushed into the apartment, as the door shut behind him and he began to frantically search for him. Kai ran into the kitchen, every dish and glass smashed and refrigerator raided. His dinning room table set was tossed and chairs broken...but what caught his attention was the blood on the floor. More panic filled his chest. "YUE! YUE Were are you!" He ran into the bathroom, it was just as destroyed and broken...and then his bedroom. The mattress tossed, the curtains dripped to shreds, everything scattered and practically unrecognizable, but Yukie was no where to he found. After searching his apartment he pulled out his phone. Just as he was about to call Yukie, he saw a single notification he had missed. It was from Yukie. Terrified Kai checked it, thinking that maybe Yukie had tried to warn him, even ask for help...and he didnt see his message! [ It’s over. Stay the fuck away from me and out of my life. ] Kai stared at his phone in utter disbelief. Over? Out of his life? That didnt sound like Yue at all... ( T-theres no way...) Yukie wouldn't do this to him. He tried calling him, but his calls wouldn't go through... in fact, it wouldn't even ring. ( n-no....no...) He tried again... ' The number you have dialed is no longer in service. Please hang up and try again ' ( no...) And again. 'The number you have dialed is no longer in serv---' ( NO!) And again. 'The number you have dial--' "Damn it!!" Kai fell to his knees as his vision began to blur. His mind reeling as he tried to make sense of it all. Why was his apartment destroyed. Why was there blood on the floor? Why wasn't Yukie here? Why wasn't he answering him?! [[ I want more of it…more of your love….so much more of your love…I want to drown in it~” ]] Thats what he said...Thats what Yukie told him. There was just no way.....He had ment it...he had ment it...he had ment every word...right? Yukies words and voice started to reply in his head, like a broken record. [[ “I like you a lot…."]] ( ...yue...) [[ I..…can’t lose you…I..I love you.]] They had come so far...so the thought of Yukie leaving just didn't make sense to him. His words didn't match his actions. [[ “…I’ll look forward to coming home to you each day, to days off snuggled up together.”]] (T-thats what...you said... so...) Where was he? And then...his heart sank as stumbled to his feet suddenly recalling his tossed mattress. His saving! His money! He ran into his room and started to frantically search for the bag of money he'd been collecting for years...thousands and thousands of dollars he'd gained through multiple jobs, manual labor, and long nights. Money that was going to be used as a down payment for his car shop. Money that...he worked so hard for...and it was no where to be found. Tears had started to stream down his face as dark thoughts filled his head. Did Yukie do this? Did he take the money? He was the only one to have access to his apartment, the only one who knew he had such money...he had given him 2,000 in cash when he needed it....Did Yukie...use him? ( no...no no no no no!) "I refuse to believe it!" Not Yukie. Anyone but Yukie. __________________________________ Kai sat in his room, looking down at his phone. After he had calmed down and gathered himself, he went straight to the police and filed a missing persons report for Yukie along with a breaking and entering report. The cops ended up coming by his apartment to assess and document the damage. Even forensics came to get blood samples from the stains on the walls and floor. He wasn't quite sure how much he should tell them given Yukies profession...he wanted the officers to take this seriously. So he told them that Yukie was his boyfriends and was suppose to be at the apartment when he got off of work. But due to the blood, destruction, and stolen money, it looked like a crime scene. Perhaps a kidnapping. Kai thought back to what Yukie told him in the motel. How he warned him to stay away from Mishka...saying he was a dangerous man. [[ "Mishka, he will kill you if he thinks you’re helping me leave him…he’s done it before to others who have worked for him. He found out they were offered an escape so he got rid of the people helping them.….I don’t want to lose you like that.”]] Was Yukie in danger? Did Mishka hurt him? Take him? He couldn't see a single person doing so much damage in such a short amount of time, and he couldn't see Yukie trashing his apartment and steeling his money. Yukie had been so excited to live with him, talking about their future and wanting to decorate. What deeply concerned him was the blood in the room and the fact he couldn't get in contact with Yukie. Even if he did dump him...Yukie would never do it kile this...rSomething was wrong....he had too much faith in Yukie to believe he truly this was all done by choice. As of right now, the police took his report and they said they'd be looking into todays events and looking for Yue since they too found the scene odd and suspicious. Little did Kai know that Mishka's reach stretched far beyond the underworld, but he had connections in high places too... so even tho Kai had attempted to do the right thing...his report wouldn't be filed in the system, it would be shredded by some crooked cops and Miskha would he informed of his actions. No doubt causing further problems for Yukie. Even though Kai had called Yukies number 56 times...he sat on his mattress, trying again. 'The number you have dialed is no longer in service. Please hang up and try again ' What Kai wouldn't give to hear Yukies voice again. Tears started to well up in his eyes again as he sigjed and hung up the call. He felt powerless. Deep down he had a feeling that Yukie was in trouble...but he had no idea how to help him let alone where to find him. Yukie never talked about where he worked or where he'd crash at...was he hurt? Did the blood on the floor belong to him? Was this Mishka's doing?! ( Yue....Im so sorry...please be ok...) @Yukonwolfspirit
