Kai heard Yukies voice, he glanced over his shoulder, seeing a figure sitting on the floor, watching TV. Why was he sitting in the dark? He turned on the light, slowly approaching him. "Have you eaten? I bought you some ice cre----" His voice faded as his eyes finally fell on Yukie. What the hell happened to him? This wasnt the first time he'd seen Yukie bruised and battered after a difficult client but this was by far the worst he'd ever seen! "Jesus! Yue--" He sat in front of him, touching his face. "What the hell happened." He took a moment to examine his face, it was covered in fresh bruises, his lip was split, and even his clothes had blood stains on them. "Let me see." He muttered, taking his arm, and rolling up his sleeve. He couldn't help but notice little burns on his skin...were these...cigarette burns? "C-can you move your arm..." He questioned. Worried it might be broken. The bruises on his skin were so dark, it was concerning. When Yukie bent his arm, a soft sigh of relief escaped his lips. " Good...it's not broken...but..." He fell silent seeing needle marks on his skin. He couldn't help but feel his stomach sink. Since when did Yukie do drugs? This was the first time he'd seen these marking on him...and he was extremely familiar with drugs and where that path led. He didnt want to see Yukie end up like his mother. He bit his lip seeing Yukies neck, which deeply concerned him. Who ever he was with was extremely sadistic and brutal. Judging from the marks, it wasnt hard to see that Yukie was strangled...probably until he became unconscious. There was a blackish/purple line around his neck. [ “For I awhile I thought you would have bailed on me and taken more hours at work, course I’m unable to offer payment for my stay here.” ] "What are you talking about...you've never paid me before. Why would I make you start now.." Kai couldn't help but frown as Yukie nudged a beer can over to him. Seriously? [ “Boss cut my hours.” ] His voice was so emotionless. If his boss really cut his hours...then why was he looking like this? "Don't move." He muttered. He slowly stood and headed to the kitchen, grabbing a first aid kit from under the sink along with the bandages and ointment he had bought from the convenience store and a bag of ice from the freezer. When he returned he sat down in front of Yukie and did what he always did...patched him up. " Put this on your neck." He said softly, handing him the ice, before starting with Yukies arms. Cleaning the needle wounds with disinfectant before applying ointment and covering it with a badge. He then had Yukie take off his shirt, and he took care of any open wounds he saw, and then his legs. When he finally moved to his face, all Yukie needed was some hot and cold cream and a badge on his cheek. It took nearly an hour for Kai to address all of his wounds...and for once Yukie didn't protest. He grabbed Yukies chin, and gently applied some vaseline on his busted lip. It would take some time for him to fully bounce back from this ordeal. As he finished, he found himself holding Yue's chin for a very long moment, he was staring at his lips...wanting to kiss him...but he didn't and immediately released him. Instead, he moved next to the other, and rested his head on Yukies shoulder, his hand reaching for Yues, as he tried to hold it. "Yue...I'm..worried about you..." ( Will he listen to me this time? ) " Don't...go back..." He said softly, squeezing his hand.
