Fang glared at the man infront of him, his demeanor shifting slighly when Leons features changed. He bit his lip as Leon growled at him, giving him a glimpse of the beast inside him. He warned him, but Fang's grip only tightened...he only stopped when Leon forced him, grabbing his wrist and shoving him back. The two glared at each other. He wasnt excepting Leon to be that strong.... [ “Back. Off, Unless you want to find out what happens when I stop holding back.”] Fangs eyes glowed, narrowing. " That a challenge?" The tension between the two of them thickened! He watched as the shifter took a deep breath before speaking. [ “Sora wasn’t the target, They weren’t after him.”] Fang crossed his arms, seeing how Leon's demeanor altered. A mix between anger, sorrow, and regret. He frowned. He also needed to take a deep breath to calm himself down. [ “They took Asta.”] Asta...that was Sora's friend. Classmate...he mentioned the boy in passing but Fang never met the human. He knew Leon was involved with a human...and he had told Sora to stay out of there business...What were the odds the two of them would be dating humans that knew each other. He continued, informing him of the situation...it would seem Leon tried to act...he just wasnt fast enough. [“By the time I got there, Sora was on the ground, and the van was gone.”] Fang said nothing, he wasn't really sure what to say. What kind of mess was Leon in? Whatever it was, he wanted to stay far away from it, and keep Sora safe. [ “Then I got a call. From the person behind it.”] " I've heard enough--" He muttered. [ “She made it very clear. She is gonna make sure I never see Asta again.”] He needed to leave....knew where this was going... Leon was gonna ask him for help...and he didnt want to get himself involved! "That's your problem, you clearly pissed off the wrong person..." His eyes falling to the ground. Leon was going to rescue his mate...his voice so cold that it made him tense. He'd never seen the man act this way before. He never knew Leon had this side to him. Apparently he was more than just a pretty faced stripper. Fang was ready to leave, but what stopped him was hearing Leon say Sora's name. [ “Sora is safe with medics. You were fast, you got here fast to him protect him. "] "Not fast enough..." he muttered. [" What those bastards did... you know they don’t care if they hurt a few humans on the way and no one it preventing it either”] " Don't act like you know me....we aren't friends...I only care about one human...and thats him...he is mine...and mine alone." His tone dark and possessive. Fang hated humans...ever since he was little...every since he escaped them...but Sora was different...he wasn't like the men who tortured him and his sister. He paused seeing Leon take a step toward him. He watched him carefully... [ “But the men who hurt him? The ones who laid hands on your mate? They’re still out there. Thinking they are getting away with it.”] Fangs eyes widened ever so slightly. His body tensing as he clenched his hands into fists. If Leon wanted to piss him off...then he succeeded. He growled, sounding like a pissed off dog. [ “But I plan to find them. I plan to make them wish they’d never touched whats mine. But I need help as you’ve got something I don’t.”] He tapped his chest, Leon knew what he was doing... he was trying to ryle him up...get under his skin... Manipulate him into helping him...Fang knew this...he saw it happening right before his eyes...and he hated it...he hated that it was working. He hated that Leon was pushing his buttons! [" You can track that van from the person's scent off Sora’s shirt right? Hell, the sidewalk is probably still warm with their trail. You want revenge? You want to make sure they never walk again?”] He needed him.... he needed his help to save Asta...and Leon knew Fang didnt want to help him...so he'd use Fangs ego, rage, and pride against him, convince him to help him. ( He's more cunning than I thought ...) [ “Help me find them. You lead me to them, and I'll let you tear most of them apart. Just don’t touch that woman, she is mine to deal with.”] "Your asking for a favor..." [ “I’m not asking for a favor. I’m offering you payback. With blood.”] Fang bit his lip and sighed. His eyes turning back to Sora as the medics strapped him down and started to move him. He closed his eyes and took a moment to feel what Sora was feeling through their bond.... To his suprise... Sora was blaming himself...deep down he was frantic...and he wanted to find Asta....he was deeply concerned about his friend...He was in pain, full of sadness and anger.... [ “If we don’t move now, they really will be gone. And I don’t plan on losing Asta. Feel free if you’d rather stand here and let the ones who hurt your mate disappear.”] Fang opened his eyes and ran a hand through his hair looking rather frustrated. ( Damn it...!) "Tch..." He ran back to Sora's side, stopping the medics briefly so he could speak to Sora before they took him away. " I'll find him...and then I'll come right back...you hear me..." He grabbed Sora's hand and squeezed it gently wanting to reassure him before the medics loaded him up into the ambulance. If Asta was important to Sora...then he was important to Fang too. Now that Sora was safe and getting the help he needed, it was time to find the bastards who hurt him in the first place. Fang quickly crossed the street, following Leon reluctantly. " I'm only doing this because Sora will be mad if I don't..." He muttered. " And I really want to fucking punch something. " He knelt down and slid his finger on the ground, catching the blood on fingertips. He sighed and sniffed his finger a few times before lifting his head and sniffing the air around them. "Got it....try to keep up..." ________________________________ Asta was beyond terrified. He was tied up and gagged. Tossed around like cargo and forced into a different vechclie. He couldn't see where they were going since he was blind folded, but it felt like they were driving for hours! He had no sense of time or direction. By the time the vechclie stopped and he was taken out, his nose got a swift of the sea.... and he could hear a horn going off...was he by the ocean? He was soon forced into a chair and bound, his hands tied behind his back, when his kidnappers finally took off the blind fold and gag, Asta's eyes strugged to ajust. Where the hell was he? He looked around, it was dark...a warehouse of somesort? There was a old light buzzing above his head, and the chair he was in was bolted to the floor. He wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. He heard the sound of heels approaching...he waited anxiously, his mouth wide as Camill emerged from the shadows. ( L-leons...Aunt?) He didn't understand...was she the one who kidnapped him? Why?! What madness was this?! "I...i d-dont...Understand..." he said softly. "Why..?" [ “This, is what Liam chose”] Asta stared at her in disbelief. Her voice was cold...everything about her demeanor was setting something off deep inside him... Run. She's dangerous. Your not safe. Be careful. Don't trust her. [ “You don’t even know, do you?” ] "Why are you doing this! What the hell is wrong with you!" [ “He never told you. Of course he didn’t. That would’ve ruined the illusion.”] Asta tensed, his voice wavering. Illusion? What did she mean by that? What happened next...confused Asta even more...last night...he was so sure of himself...of his relationship with Leon...that nothing could or would shake it...and now...it felt like this women was breaking everything they built piece by piece. Brick by brick. Games? Naïve infatuation? Not equals? Kind? She spoke as if Leon wasn't human. She circled him, digging at his insecurities. She claimed that Leon was using him! "S-SHUT UP!!" He's not using me! Your lying!" He snapped. Camill stopped in front of him, saying she wasn't going to hurt him...yet...but that she wanted to show him...show him....something. [ “I gave him a choice. He returns to our world, to the family that raised him, to the life and power he was born into… or he loses everything. Liam has always had a rebellious streak,”] Asta understood now...he understood why Leon looked so sick that day...the day she knocked on his door...he understood why he changed his name...lied about who he was...why he avoided talking about his past and family... why he ran away. [ “But even I didn’t think he’d fall this far. To hide among you, them. To catch feelings.”] Asta hung his head as Camill continued on her evil little rant....She was blaming him for Leon's defiance?! He flinched when she got closer to his face. [ “Do you know what happens to obstacles in our world? They are removed. Silently. Permanently. And yet, here I am… offering mercy. Do you know why?”] Mercy? This was Mercy? Was she talking about killing him?! Asta couldn't even speak...he was scared too... so he just....shook his head. [ “Because Liam still thinks he can protect you. Still believes there’s a future in this place with you. He doesn’t understand what he’s risking by clinging to someone like you.” ] ( Someone like me? ) Asta’s eyes followed Camill, to her this was all a wild, twisted, elaborate game! She would make Leon choose between him and her. Between saying here and returning home. [" And you.... You will be removed from the equation. Out of his view away from twisting his head.”] Asta fell silent...his mind reeling...he didn't know what to think...how to feel...He didn't believe or trust what Camill was saying...how could he? Especially after last night... He thought about it...the way Leon kissed him...the way he touched him and showered him with so much love that it suffocated him...The way he turned into a different person..showing him a rougher, domineering side. Every time he came...Leon kept going...showering him with kisses and moving his hips harder and deeper inside him. He couldn't breath...he couldn't think straight. All he could do was melt into his arms...he was scared of losing him... ( Leon...) ______________________________________ " Wait..." Fang put his hand out, taking a moment to pause and sniff the air. He groaned in irritation. They weren't dealing with amateurs. " What a pain..." he muttered. He looked back at Leon. " They drove around the area multiple times...probably switched vechclies too...give me a second...." He closed his eyes and started sniffing the air again...changing direction multiple times as he struggled to map out the correct way they went. After a few minutes he pointed north. " This way..." The two continued running, hopping from building to building, roof top to roof top...the sun had already set... By the time they stopped again...the moon was high in the sky. The stood on the rooftop of an old building...it was 4 blocks away from the ocean. A boat dock, with a handful of warehouses. Fang rubbed his nose. " The scent ends here...The smell of the ocean is overpowering...I can't pin point where he is exactly...but he's around here somewhere...within a 4 mile radius..." He pinched his nose, sighing. His nose was extremely sensitive and he hated the smell of the ocean... it was starting to give him a headache. " What a fucking pain..." Even though they were close...it would take them hours to cover and search a 4 mile radius, and they couldn't exactly go door to door, barging into people's homes and establishments. " Well...any ideas where they might of taken him? We're not dealing with amateurs, they know your coming...So where are they expecting you?" He titled his head to the side. @M-jow
