“I can think of plenty of things I want to do with you,” he murmured softly, letting the rest trail off. Julius buried his face into Yukie’s neck, hiding the warmth that flared in his eyes. It didn’t matter that it was the middle of the day—but saying those thoughts out loud still made him shy. Ever since he’d saw Yukie’s new haircut, Julius had been fighting the urge to touch it. He wanted to slide his fingers through it, to feel the unfamiliar texture brush against his palm. It wasn’t like he fixated on things like that normally, but with Yukie he did. His hair, his hands, the way he moved, the sound of his voice—every small detail caught Julius’s attention. Sometimes it made him feel ridiculous, like he couldn’t rein in his thoughts no matter how hard he tried. This trip had already been intense in ways he hadn’t expected, and the idea of being apart for months afterward made his chest tighten. How was he supposed to handle that? With a small shake of his head, Julius leaned back so they could look at each other properly. Meeting Yukie’s gaze. “I think… I want you more than usual because I know what’s coming,” he admitted quietly. “But at the same time, I don’t want all our time together to blur into just tangled up in the sheets.” He hesitated, choosing his words carefully, cheeks warming despite himself. “Not that I don’t enjoy it,” he added quickly, almost stumbling over the words. “I just— I want to see you smile more. Hear you laugh. I want us to make memories.” He exhaled, uncertain. “Does that make sense? I’m not even sure I’m explaining it right.” After a moment, he offered a small, hopeful smile. “How about I take you out tonight?” he suggested. “Maybe we go dancing.” He held Yukie’s gaze as he spoke, those honest eyes pulling him in the way they always did. Julius knew he could stay like this for hours. -------------------- Oh yeah.. Yumro remembering now that Haruhi didn’t know about when he threw Haru into a portal back at Yukie's house. Nothing had happened, he'd caught him a moment after but Haru hadn’t like it at all. To be honest Yumro had liked being kicked of an airplain by his grandfather either. So Yumro had decided to try gentle parenting. Yumro simply smiled. "All good, I caught him not a moment after. It was just a very bad joke I didn’t realize at the time" he tried to calmly explain. "I'll teach him that too" he assured Haruhi and chuckled as his mate pushed him off. "Sure sure I'll get more for you all" he said and true to his words Yumro came over with plats stacked with pancakes. He’d already made them earlier and kept them in the own on low heat to keep them varm. Shan’s eyes swallowed the tower of pancakes and his mouth watered at the scent. He looked at how Haru ate the first batch of pancakes and saw how Yumro poured maple syrup over some, and spread jam over some other's. It all looked so tasty. Shan decided to try it plain first. The texture was fluffy, soft and buttery in his mouth. Soft spices hit his tastbuds in a very plesant way and he loved it. He try out all kinds of toppings after that until he decided his favorite was the once with maple syrup. Both boys were devouring the tower of pancakes like they hadn’t eaten anything in days. But there was still more than enough for Yumro and Haruhi to get their fill as well. When Shan couldn't eat another bite, he felt like his stomach was about to explode. "I can’t eat another bite." He groaned as his stomach felt a bit painful from overeating. "You don't haft to eat everything." Yumro told him. Shan sighed. "But I couldn't stop myself, never had any before and they are so delicious." Plus Haru had eaten even more than him so Shan thought it was normal. Now he felt so stuffed it was kinda uncomfortable. The shadow had just learned another important thing about having a physical body. "You can go lay down with your feets stretched out, it helps" Yumro told Shan. Shan nodded and started walking outside to lay down in the shade on the porch. He felt sick. Like everything he had eaten was trying to come back up again. It sucked and he didn’t enjoy this feeling at all. Yumro didn’t know much about Shan’s condition. But as long as it was simply discomfort he wasn’t worried. Though, he wasn't sure if Shan actually could get sick now that he had that body. "Maybe you'll have an easy day. I don’t hope it will last but, if Shan still feels sick, you can both have a cozy day of resting" he told Haruhi.
