“Mmmmmmh.” Yukie mumbled as he stepped out of the pillows completely nude not even caring that the nest of pillows were all over the floor. Walking over Yukie kissed Julius’s head before reaching into the bag, grabbing a piece of the fried chicken as he ripped into it having given up on hunting Julius. He was starving and the chicken was too good smelling and was oh so juicy. ”mmmmh god! So gooooood~” Yukie moaned out as he flicked a finger and shorts appeared on his body only for him to sit down and mention to Julius to eat with him. “I’m eating more often around you maybe a habit of being with you~. It’s annoying I get so hungry at times it prevents days of just lying in bed with you~.” Yukie teased as he smirked at Julius enjoying seeing him dressed in his robe. Yukie was not displeased by sharing more meals with Julius and his new habit of eating more often. In fact he had started to look forward to each meal with him. ”I missed good food. I missed having someone to cook for and share it with.” Yukie admitted his eyes full of pure happiness as he stole a fry out of the bag still casually munching on his chicken. “You make me really happy darling.” Yukie stated as he smiled his face fully of genuine happiness and total bliss over sharing fried chicken with the man he adored. —————— “I never hated it. I adore when you do it….I fee so twisted inside feeling any annoyance at you doing such wonderful things for me.” Haruhi explained as he looked at Yumro gently touching his cheek as he calmed down softly in his mate’s presence. Yumro’s gentle hold, his caresses and touches were in the strangest way deeply grounding…something Haruhi hadn’t had before being with him. ”I know, you see me as your mate and equal. I know you love me, and I really love you. It’s just. No one else ever really done any of this before….its hard to step out of that box mentally. You’ve done so much….Its hard not to feel a little overwhelmed and over loved…” Haruhi admitted with a very dry chuckle as he looked down at his hands fidgeting with his shirt sleeve trying to ease into a less sad or tense atmosphere. “I feel so safe with you…well…it makes me scared sometimes. Like what if this isn’t real…what if it’s just like all the other times before. I feel right now when thinking like that…that I would die without you by my side. I’m afraid….” Haruhi whispered knowing in the silence that hung between them the context would be clear on his worry about how Yukie had become after loosing his mate. ”I’m so afraid of loosing you, but then I’m afraid of this all being just…some fucked up foggy moment that I can’t fully remember. What if I forget you…I forgot so much when Haru was born…so much I can’t make sense of over the years as if I was sleeping.” Haruhi said as his voice trembled having hit the root of his worries. His memory had always been a bit fucked after what happened to Haru. And while Yukie and Haru had helped him at first until he was stable, Haruhi had learned to cope, and settle into a safe routine. Haruhi had always denied that he had been injured that day, that he too had suffered and needed help. He had to because he knew deep down it was the right choice. There was only so much Yukie could do to help. He had chosen Haru. Even if it had meant being sick, and being cursed. Even if he struggled to figure out some things, and lived with the fact that some days were fuzzier than others. He had chosen Haru, and he would do so a thousand times over. Haruhi was at peace with his life, with what he had chosen. He had accepted his difficulties and scars he would carry, he would endure his weakened body. Because in his mind, he would have always chosen Haru…he would have always made the right choice. Haru hadn’t ever expected to settle down again though….spider had fucked up so much for him during that time he was trying to get a fresh start…he had been too naive just like the first time. He couldn’t regret the lesson he learned though because it had also changed so much for Haruhi….it had brought him back home, back to Yumro. “…I’m so so sorry. For everything. For being so angry. For being so much and so difficult. I know….its a lot.” Haruhi added as he looked at Yumro his hand reaching up as he touched Yumros cheek gently kissed it proving there was no malice or wrong feelings for him going forward. Just an apology. Just a promise that it was just them in this world they would figure out together. Haruhi was adjusting, learning how to move forward to be a good mate…and find his own permanent place beside Yumro.
