Oh, my. Just finished. I cried when I listened the epilogue, where both Haruto and Akira were already old. Actually, I'm typing this with wet cheeks. I didn't read the whole manga (only first 2.5 chapters are Eng-translated), and it was a bit difficult to undestand some parts (like Haruto's decision about euthanasia, or changes of timeline). But. Oh. I transcribed the Epilogue with openl.io. Just... Read and listen. Without manga, only with their voices, I think that Akira is already died (his voice is young at the end, like his answer sounds at Haruto's head) and Haruto, who is already has demention and forget even his daily routine really fast, decided to euthanase himself. But I do not see the image, so footsteps may be Akira's, and he is still alive, that means they travel last time. And this is even sadder. 2-05 EPILOGUE Essay 6: With You While Dozing Opening This essay series, which has continued for so long, will conclude with this volume. It is beautifull, and I cant't help but think, that the music and KENN's play make Mou Sukoshi dake, Soba ni Ite near to Makoto Shinkai's works. I can even image the story as anime in Shinkai's style.
