Promise you won’t leave the room without me?” Yukie mumbled still ever worrying about Julius as he let out a deep sigh knowing he was worried over nothing and Julius most likely wouldn’t leave him while he slept. Melting more into the mattress Yukie relaxed under Julius’s gentle touch the soothing feeling of his mates fingers flowing through his hair comforting him more than he would ever admit. After a few minutes of this Yukie was out cold his body having snuggled deep into the sheets and blankets as he slept peacefully. ————— “mmh Yukie’s scent…it changes, I’ve always felt it’s been off after Ren…it smelled so foul for so long. A deep blood and decay smell, as if he was dying on the inside. Eventually he just stopped having any scent…just nothingness. I guess that’s what would happen to us if one of us passed.” Haruhi whispered his voice so deeply saddened by this thought as he looked to Yumro and sank more into his embrace. “When I was talking to Haru when he was younger about demon history and scents and such…he told me he doesn’t smell anything like that from anyone.” Haruhi admitted as he intertwined his fingers with Yumro. “When I smell Yukies scent…lately…it’s as thought his scent has drastically changed…he’s been smelling like sunshine or a field of flowers. Haru said I was crazy to think he smelled like anything since he said he smelled like nothing.” Haruhi whispered as he looked at Yumro a look of confusion on his face. ”Maybe Yukies scent changed because he’s happier now having Julius.” Haruhi mused over his idea as he relaxed alongside Yumro thinking deep on the information Yumro had given him. “I know some scents can change over time. I mean Haru has only had a faint scent once before when he was born…he smelled like strawberries, particularly fresh and ripe summer strawberries. Then when he passed… he stopped having a smell. It was just emptiness like Yukies was a few years after he learned to survive…no smell no scent.” Haruhi explained as he turned and stared up at the ceiling a small bit of worry on his face at the thought of Haru might be damaged. Most demons had a scent, if he didn’t how would he one day find a mate if he wanted to. “Haru…I think can smell scents though…don’t tell Haru I told you this…but he often would complain how you smelled. At first I thought it was out of annoyance…I mean he was adjusting to having you around…but then I noticed he was enjoying certain candle and other scents…almost as if it was comforting having those smells. It took some work…but to Haru I think you smell…like pine trees and rain.” Haruhi whispered as he smiled and looked at Yumro glad Haru was able to make one connection and at least smell someone he looked up to so much. “If you ask him I’m sure he would deny it…but…he really pushed towards getting scented candles in those scents for the house. I think the smell is reassuring that you’re still going to be around forever and he’s safe now.” Haruhi whispered as he looked at Yumro so much happiness in his eyes at having his mate back by his side.

“Mmgh” Yukie grumbled as he stirred gently instantly wincing at the stiffness and soreness of his body. Closing his eyes a moment longer Yukie turned a touch more into Kai his body snuggled and deeply entangled in his lovers arms under the thin stained sheets. Moving away from Kai Yukie could only sit up slowly before moving to the edge of the bed the hard daytime light ripping through the gaps in the curtains showing just how late they had slept in. 12:37….they had slept in so late, it was expected though. They both had been up so late with such passionate lovemaking and closeness the memories made Yukie blush as he looked down at Kai and smiled a little to himself. Leaving the bed Yukie checked his phone amused by the lack of new messages but well he thought nothing of it. Mishka usually stewed for a few days to a week when he wandered off. It wasn’t unusual for him to ice Yukie out while he drank to cope and plan how to punish him. Setting his phone down Yukie yawned a little before making his way to the bathroom and after turning the water on to heat up he dug through the drug bag to find his dosage his hands shaking as he counted out the correct pills. Yukie was looking forward to getting clean, heck even a decrease in dosage was a win to him lately. To get sober and be worthy and good enough for Kai to marry was his new goal even if he couldn’t escape Mishka he would have Kai and that was enough. Grabbing a cup from the table he filled it with water before taking the medicine. Gently leaning down Yukie kissed Kai’s cheek softly as he murmured a good morning and made his way right after to the bathroom. Yukie would let Kai wake in his own time there was no rush to head back home for him. Yukie moaned a touch as he felt the warm water wash over his sore body each ache a reminded of just how deeply he had been adored and loved by Kai. Taking his time Yukie washed up squeaky clean before stepping out a towel wrapped around his waist as he smiled looking at Kai again.

It is... really, really baka inu story. That stupid seme, argh! I was verrrry satisfied, when uke beated him up (I'd like this scene to be even more fiercely, because ano baka inu just deserved it, how could you do these "sweet things" to person you love?!).
