That had been exactly what Sora was doing—staking his claim, so to speak. He hadn't particularly appreciated the sight of girls in revealing bikinis making passes at his boyfriend, and sitting on Fang's lap had seemed like a perfectly reasonable way to make his presence known. At least, that was how he justified it to himself. What he couldn't quite shake was the gnawing feeling that had settled somewhere beneath his ribs when he thought back to what he'd seen on the screen. The memory left an unpleasant taste in his mouth, one he couldn't quite explain away with a few jokes or a possessive gesture. [“Am I in trouble?”] Fang's question held no genuine concern. If anything, he sounded entertained by the prospect, as though the very idea of Sora punishing him was amusing. He probably didn't believe Sora would ever follow through with anything remotely unpleasant. Well, Fang wasn't entirely wrong. Sora would never deliberately hurt him, whether physically or emotionally. That didn't mean a punishment had to involve pain, though. There were plenty of other ways to make someone regret their behavior. His experience working with shelter dogs had taught him that sometimes the most effective correction was withholding something they wanted. Not out of cruelty, but to help establish boundaries and discourage unwanted behavior. And what did Fang want most when it came to Sora? The answer was so obvious. “You aren't allowed to touch me with your hands tonight,” he declared. “No hugging, either. That is your punishment.” He let his fingers drift along the side of Fang's neck, watching the subtle changes in his boyfriend's expression as he spoke. “Since I'm so 'cute', I'll remember that my boyfriend did go swimming with me earlier.” Sora tilted his head, allowing a mischievous smile to spread across his lips. “And I'll be... merciful-ish.” His fingers traveled upward, slipping behind Fang's head until they curled into a loose fistful of his hair. He drew the other man closer, slowly narrowing the distance between them until their faces were only inches apart. “I can still smell the saltwater on your skin,” he murmured. “I wonder if you taste salty, too.” His breath brushed Fang's lips as he spoke. Then, as though unable to resist satisfying his own curiosity, Sora leaned forward and pressed a brief, teasing lick to the corner of Fang's mouth. His tongue was soft and varm and Fang did indeed tast a tiny bit salty. He bite Fang’s bottom lip just a bit hard to leave a small imprint. Then he released the grip on Fang's hair, and took a moment to study it. The salty air had left the long black strands slightly stiff and tousled, giving them more volume than usual. It wasn't an entirely bad look, he supposed, but Sora preferred Fang's hair when it was smooth, glossy, and soft to the touch. Right now, it looked like it desperately needed some attention. “Shower,” Sora announced simply. He rose to his feet and began removing his clothes, giving Fang a pointed look that made it clear he expected him to follow. Once Fang stood, Sora caught him by the bicep and guided him toward the shower. Warm steam was already gathering in the enclosed space, softening the edges of the room and turning the air pleasantly humid. Sora stepped in close, placing a hand over Fang's naked chest as the water ran over his boyfriend's shoulders and back. For a moment, he simply watched the water trickle down Fang's skin, following its path before disappearing into the drain. Then he moved closer, nearly pressing himself against Fang as he reached around him for the soap. “I'm going to give you a thorough cleaning,” Sora informed him, working the bar between his palms until it produced a generous layer of foam. “For my own satisfaction, of course.” His gaze flicked upward, meeting Fang's eyes with a knowing look. “And remember. No hands.” Sora began washing him, taking his time rather than rushing through the task. He worked the lather over Fang's shoulders, chest, and arms, occasionally stepping closer as he reached around to wash his back. The proximity between their bodies was deliberate as the space closed. But the moment Fang crossed the line by trying to wrap his arms around Sora, the human would retreat just far enough to remind him of the rules. Sora was beginning to suspect that this would become the longest shower they'd ever taken together. And that was saying something, considering how much time they'd spent sharing a bathroom since Sora had moved into Fang's apartment. Eventually, after deciding that his boyfriend had been scrubbed to his satisfaction, Sora reached for the shampoo. “Turn around for me, please.” His voice had softened, the command delivered with an almost sweet politeness. It wasn't quite a request, though. Sora wasn't pretending to be the more dominant one; he simply knew that, for tonight, he held the deciding vote. He worked the shampoo into Fang's long black hair, massaging it carefully into his scalp with his fingertips. As he went, he noticed Fang's expression gradually change. The tension in his shoulders eased, and an involuntary sigh escaped him before he could quite suppress it. Sora smiled to himself. Apparently, his boyfriend was enjoying this. Good. When the shampoo had worked its way through the length of Fang's hair, Sora reached for the showerhead and rinsed it out thoroughly. Then he followed with a small amount of conditioner, smoothing it through the long strands to help restore their softness and shine. “Leave that in for five minutes before rinsing,” he instructed, giving Fang's shoulder a light tap. “Plenty of time.” There was a mischievous lilt to his voice. The moment Fang turned his head, Sora suddenly shot himself forward and kissed Fang like he was starving to do it.. He drew Fang closer, guiding him toward the tiled wall while keeping him clear of the direct spray of water. Then Fang tried to put his arms around him. Sora caught both of his wrists before he could complete the embrace, gently but firmly guiding his hands back down to his sides. He held them there as he finally broke the kiss, his breathing a little uneven and his cheeks noticeably warmer than before. “That was almost two strikes,” he reminded Fang, unable to hide the delighted gleam in his eyes. “It's a punishment, remember?” He looked entirely too pleased with himself. Then he got down on his knees infront of Fang. He held Fang’s arms against the wall down at his sides. The human was fighting hard with himself to stay in character and not blush from of the thought of what he was going to do next. When Sora entered the bedroom, a towel hung loosely around his waist. He had made a point of keeping his own hands to himself. Reasoning that it wouldn't be fair to Fang. He paused just inside the doorway, studying his boyfriend with a look of exaggerated innocence. “Still think I'm cute?” He waited for Fang's answer, watching his expression with keen interest. Whatever Fang said, it was enough to make warmth rush straight to Sora's face. He quickly looked away, suddenly finding it difficult to maintain the same confident composure he'd worn so effortlessly in the shower. It was one thing to tease Fang when he could hide behind a clever remark. It was another to be the subject of his boyfriend's undivided attention. After collecting himself, Sora glanced back at him. “Then...” He hesitated briefly, his fingers fidgeting before he finally managed a small, mischievous smile. “Why don't we do something about this first?” His gaze lingered on Fang's face, the earlier playfulness returning by degrees.
