The red head moved to step up to him. "Mello?" He called in a tone somewhat quietly to get the blond's attention as he appeared to be in his thoughts at the moment. He had already been aware that he ran from wherever he was staying at before and had no place to go. He was his only choice.

Matt told him and gestured to where he opened up the gateway for them. The gamer still stayed in Wammy's as a detective which he hadn't told the characters yet that Mello was back now. Actually, he wasn't sure if Roger would accept Mello easily as he had a record of running away before. So the best decision was to keep Mello in secret from everyone for a bit. Matt saw he could stay in his room for the time being after all.
