Malice Mizer will always have a special place in my heart.

This was the band that introduced me to the wonders of the Japanese music scene.

If I have to choose a preferred era, I'd have to say it's the one with Tetsu. Maybe because those were the first Malice Mizer's songs for me or maybe I'm just a sucker for punkish sound. His voice felt the most intense. It was somehow raw and full with emotion.

Nonetheless, I love the directions they took with Gackt and Klaha.

I've found Klaha's era very inspirational to listen during artistic work.

It's strange, they underwent quite a few drastic changes and yet, never disappointed.

They are like the lyrics of Gekka no yasoukyoku, like a sad and beautiful night.

I believe it's safe to say, I'll always love them
