anime con is different to expo? cos expo was last month... I don't live in london so I don't really know much ....

Two of my friends went to it and they said it was super-crazy-naked-people-getting-tazered-by-police-fun XD

I kinda find it amazing just how many of these things there are...

 

I live in teesside btw. near middlesbrough. It's quite a way from london, but not as far as Mitsu.

 

I was actually planning on going to the one in france. It's bigger (I think) and two of my fav artists are playing there, but I don't have the funds. Going back to london is a nice alternative.

I've never been to a con before, so someone to go with would be great :3

Its kinda small though so dont set your standard to high. Il be staying overnight so if you'r a girl you can sleep over.

I think it would be good to go to a smaller con first, I'd freak out at a big one I think.

Where do you live in London? I usually stay with an aunt who lives in Edmonton.

haha i think i would be scared to go to both (expos and small cons) because to be honest.. i've never been to one, so if i go to them more often... it'll be less scary, right?

i have relatives in nottingham, i could easily go to MCMExpo XDDDD

Mitsu: It's best to start small I think. The big expos sometimes have thousands of people. XD But 'the more you go, the more you know' *headdesk*

Yup and its beter if you go with someone that way you can socialise beter. Im actualy thinking of going there too but il have to see how it goes with the london one.

Which part of UK? If it's London theres the london anime con on the 30th till first of july and the there's London film and comic con on the 6th of july till the 8th.

I never even knew anywhere in England put on these Anime Conventions, never mind in London! Although there are a few of us who live in the UK on every forum ive been on so i suppose it should be a surprise

it's nothing big compare to last month but there is still plenty of stuff not to mention people who have the same interest as you. Anime expo is huge and i remember waiting in the line for a pretty long time. Anime con would be a great start for first timers.

mcm expo is in mid july its in manchester if you'r wiling to wait then mcm expo might be beter to go to its biger than anime con.
