If you, or anyone on here, are interested in knowing how I find stuff, let me know and I can give an example of my process. I've always been good at finding things - which is a good when clients want me to paint or create something that doesn't actually exist and I need reference material. I'm sort of a bit of everything, part native american, well, ten different blood lines in all LOL Pathfinding... well, I start with keywords - say "beautiful men" click *images* there will be a LOT of different men, but I'm looking for a face that speaks to me, probably one I haven't seen before. how about this one Next step is to find his name, which I find out is Daniel - no last name, so I search for more of the same pic and find he's from Deutschland so I keyword "deutschland model daniel" and find Daniel Senft Daniel Garofali and a pic of Daisuke Ueda whom I've had on here previous but there are other names on the link, so I go take a look... ...there are several other models but no shots worth putting up. so I search the names and find Tony Thornburg on the same page are several more models. the one that I find the most interesting is Michael Kroeber and on the same search page... Phil Wyder and so on. Of course I ran into a blind alley with the first "Daniel" but I may run into him later. If I find several good ones some where I save the search or page and go back to it later and start on another trail. It takes time . I don't put up pics of men that only take one or two good pics because then it's the photographer that's good not the model that's beautiful. Also I avoid models that only have a beautiful body but the same basic expression in every pic. I look at them with my artist eye and if I don't think I would draw or paint them, then I pass. There are men that have unconventional looks that I find more beautiful, because they know how to express their "self" so that the camera can see the beauty within. Top actors and models are "top" because of this reason. 2
