Cold

Take this white, cold face

with lips dripping rogue,

Take these blood-stained hands

shivering in the cold.

Take them and hold them

close to your heart,

and don't ever,

ever,

let them part.

 

Aria

Lighter than air,

this joyous medley

floats high as if

on a birds glorious wing.

It swoops cross the water,

flies along the shore,

and rustles the wings

of a dream yet unborn.

It is a song

that cannot die,

and will not age with every

passing day and time.

It will lift your spirits

and never let them fall,

for this power,

this song,

'tis the most beautiful of them all.
