1st base refers to kissing (making out), 2nd base refers to above the waist foreplay and 3rd base refers to below the waist foreplay

Sure, after a while when you are friends and you decide to go further, you would go to the 1st base, something like this

, then after some time, you go to the 2nd one (touching the upper part of the body)

. And then, when you are ready, you'd go to the 3rd base, which is either oral or full intercourse, I don't think I have to use images for that one though
