Apparently, this is the Kanzenban version... what that means, I'm honestly not really sure. VNDB didn't really... have that good of an explanation. Who knows. I did a quick look, and apparently Kanzenban version (released in 2020) included a new ending, new CGs, songs, and other fixes. 1

There's no sex scenes 'cause Nintendo nerfs that stuff... unless you're all good with that lol. But here's the NSP and the version 1.01 update so you can play it on Yuzu, Ryujinx, Citron, etc... whatever Nintendo didn't BTFO this time and is still truckin'. I saw that there's a English version for windows "The Town of Nie" on Steam for $60, but I can't find a free download anywhere (besides steamunlocked, which afaik has had issues with malware) so the Switch version is probably the best way to play it in English for free, unless someone has a crack of the steam version :). The lack of free downloads is pretty surprising given that it's been out on steam for over a year, but I guess there's not much demand. 1

I probably should've checked there lol, glad you did. Steamunlocked probably is mostly safe, but even with the talk about malware aside (although some of the reddit horror stories about stuff from steam unlocked destroying computers def makes me paranoid even if its unlikely lol) i generally prefer sites like this, anime-sharing, f95 etc that also serve as a forum, so I'm glad it was on AS. You're right about it being a port of the switch, or at least the same in terms of censored content, as VNDB shows it with the same 17+ age rating as the switch version as opposed to the 18+ rating of the original, but what can you do.
