I'm warning in before-hand, there are suicide references in this poem.

Don't read if you're sensitive, kay?

 

 

I came to you, crying,

Said "I can't go on, inside I'm dying"

And I denied everything that's good in this world.

When everything I really wanted was you

Telling me it's all right, begging me to stay,

For you to tell me you really loved me,

You just said "okey"

I had convinced us both

that there was no other way

That the only way was out,

To run from this so called life

So I begged for forgiveness and said my good-bye's

Emptied bottles of pills,

Washed them down

Just to watch the pain and the world slip away

 

The memories haunt me, 'cause no, I did not die

And your "okey" still brings me to tears

This life is meaningless, I guess you could say,

I'm fighting to face my fears

Don't say you love me, don't you lie

To keep me from leaving,

I just want to die...

This really hit home for me. I tried to kill myself one time by overdosing on pills. Obviously it didn't work, but the worst part. No one even noticed. lol
