grimsmile
well what i want to say is that at first when i began reading yaoi manga i really liked minami haruka's work and was obsessed by her work but as time went on and i discovered other mangaka and art styles... i look back and dont like the art/plots as much as before but i still like her...the same with kanzaki takashi...i mean i love them but yeah...i guess i needed a break from them??? im not sure so my question is: is there a mangaka or manga that you got obsessed with but as time went on they kinda went from awesome to average?
Macys
Yeah, in the beginning I liked very very much Yamada Yugi's art and Tohjoh Asami, but later, I have discovered other artists like Yamane Ayano, Minase Masara, Takanaga Hinako, Yoneda Kou and many others... Nena21
I used to like Kano Shiuko, both her art and stories, but then my tastes changed and there are other mangakas that I find much more exciting to read
Morinaga's Girl
It was the manga Private Prince. In the beginning I thought it will be awesome, but then.... so I gave up reading it cause it seemed so boring for me...

Because this manga was cancelled D: It was some kind of depressing when I read it without any end
sarah3161
no that didnt happen to me o_o i think its because i focus more on the story than the drawing from the start O_O
Corbane
I'd say Okane ga nai. The whole thing is ridiculous. Must admit though that I still like it, but i'm way more excited about other manga than that. (Still was my first and I like it.)
JenovaVII
For starters, I'd say Minase Masara, I really liked her when I started reading yaoi manga ages ago -and still do, to some extent- but now I find myself thinking that each story is always the same, not in the aspect of the plot -she does have a pretty diverse variety of story lines- but rather the atmosphere of it. I enjoy her simple art style very much and her use of blunt contrast but, no matter how much the plots and the characters differ, I'm at a point that it all seems the same. I still read her works in hope it'll change. And I adore her coloring. (Not sure if I'm still making sense 'cos I slept really bad and I'm still in my usual good mood, crazy stuff.) Takatsuki Noboru. I remember I really liked her mangas for whatever reason back in the day (talking like an old man now... great) and now I just can't see why I did. The art is usually nice and sometimes really nice (the colored covers, the novel illustrations and the BL games' CGs, in particular), but that's it. While her plot lines aren't... entirely bad, there's also nothing good about it either. Sometimes it's a little bit fun but then it tries too hard and well, it doesn't work. I'm reluctant but... Kodaka Kazuma, as well. I absolutely love her initial art style -rougher and with a more realistic edge to it. It was awesome. Not just her good art she really knows how to write a great story too (Hana To Ryuu, Midare Somenishi and Kizuna). However, she had her art evolution explosion and I was more than just a bit disappointed with the result. Don't get me wrong, it didn't turn bad at all -it's still nice and pretty and easy on the eye- but for me it did indeed loose what I liked the most. Even though I don't like her art as much anymore, as long as her story telling talent doesn't decrease then I'm totally okay with it. (: Thats all. For now. *smirk* It seems my Critic Mode: ON is early today. (-_-)

It makes perfect sense Jenova, i was about to give this same answer, i really do still like her at some extent but, all characters look the same from story to story, she never draws much scenario, which makes me feel like all manga she has done are conected...wierd... Also the fact that all plots are similar don't help at all... So i agree with you 100%. I still love her though
KYOKO
Haruka Minami i'd say, Her art always adorably cute but i got tired with her stoty, always with "A happy ending" plot.
gin
A BDSM fanatic, I got tired of looking at Takakura Row's and Tori Maia's work. No new manga's and updates, then I just had realized that I got bored of waiting for the updates. In the end, i'm still a fan of Row-sensei's and Maia-sensei's work, but not that addicted anymore. aominecchi
Well a lot of people actually like Sensitive Pornograph, but I don't like it at all. At the beginning it seemed to have a good plot, but urgh. The rest is just SEX SEX SEX meaningless sex.
Sloan
Kazuya Minekura... who drew droopy eyes But it seems like most of her characters across mangas had same personalities. Her works always show potential in the beginning but ends in such disappointment because of these pseudo endings. :2yoyo4:
DieStroemi
Hi everybody, this is my first comment on the site. Well, I had that feeling with Moegi Yuu and her Katekyo!. At the begining it seems interesting, or at least it was for me, but after four volumes and many extras with nothing but meaningless sex and no good development of the characters I got bored of it... Agree. Though sex is never meaningless, I have to say there's no character development. Also, I came here to write Shin Mizukami's name.
DieStroemi
Hi, thank you for your answer, I was a bit scared 'cause it seems that this manga is very popular in these days. I have no problem with smut, even hard core, but I must say the sex in Katekyo! is boring, repetitive and the story has no deep at all. Everything is so lovey-dovey that makes me puke. Ps: I beg pardon if there are spelling mistakes. English isn't my mother tongue.
FemaleDeath00
actually yeah ... Akuma wa Hohoemu, it was one of the first mangas I read and then dropped ... it was way too boring for me ( I guess 'cause I like more action *if you know what I mean* ) it's not like I dislike the manga because that's not it but ... it just doesn't really fit me I guess ? No Time For Losers Ltd.
I'll start it with Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. 's work "Sekaiichi Hatsukoi"...Uke's character is so...itchy after the fourth volume...nothing new about their relationship or acting and for the lastest chapter mangaka's drawing looks wired. Maybe I've read it to long....my taste have changed.
trishaotaku
Minami Haruka. Her art looks all the same and the stories hmmm... they fail to interest me.
