Well, I just unpacked it via 7zip and as it unpacked/copied the datas into the folder and those error messages kept popping up. I tried it a couple times and it didn't change.

It obviously didn't copy any, besides sound, accordingly:

cg.dat -- 401,384 KB

game.dat -- 0 KB

movie.dat -- 32,767 KB

sound.dat -- 78,008 KB

voice.dat -- 40,958 KB

 

Is there maybe a better way to like, unzip/copy them?

I also tried winrar and the same problem. This one says the datas would be broken.

Edit, ah, game data now works, but somehow it erased my previous ones datas that weren't complete.

Now it's:

cg.dat -- 1,449 KB

movie.dat -- 221,669 KB

voice.dat -- 77,909 KB

 

The filesizes are still wrong, though. ^^;;

 

Which download link are you using? It seems like the download isn't 100% complete, so you have corrupt files.

 

Uninstall the game, first, then try the MEGA download link for the installer:

Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links.

 

It uses a RAR file, so use WinRAR to extract the files for it. I just downloaded this version, and extracted the files perfectly fine.

 

I compared the files from the MEGA downloaded version with my bought copy of OmegaVampire on DVD, and it's identical. It should install properly for you if it downloads correctly. MEGA has a filecheck system that it uses to make sure the files are downloaded properly.

I recently changed computers and when I try to run the game, it doesn't give me any message as to why it won't start. what might the problem be? I tried Locale emulator also. (it also appears in the details of task manager but nothing is showing)

Ok, never mind. fixed my problem. antivirus was blocking the game

such an old thread, but if anyone could help me install would i would be very grateful! when i try and use the alpharom to open it, it give me a white screen before closing out. i dont know what to do
