Note:

A .ccd file is a CloneCD Control File. A CloneCD image would consist of three files, a .CCD file, a .IMG file and a .SUB file. The CCD file is simply an ASCII text file that holds information on the CD that is needed for the burning process.

A .ccd file on its own is useless, there also must be the .sub file and the .img file. These files must also be in the same directory (same folder on same hard disk drive) and must have the same file name. For example a folder like C:\Images\ would have to have IMAGE.CCD, IMAGE.IMG and IMAGE.SUB so that it can be burned to disc or mounted onto a virtual drive.

There is a variety of software titles that can make use of .ccd files. For example, Alcohol 120% or Daemon Tools can mount CloneCD Image Files onto virtual CD drives (so you don't need to burn to use them) or you can burn the image with CloneCD.

Does the game not work with Windows 7? I mounted it, but when I try to install it this pops up:

It disappears after I press 'Ok' and nothing happens after.

I'm assuming it doesn't like my OS because of the couple of 'OS's in the statement.

Is there any way to get it to work with Windows 7?

- Switch to Japanese locale and restart

- Then use vista service pack 2 compatibility mode to run,

or try properties -> compatibility -> run compatibility troubleshooter

- If this doesn't work, also try copying files from CD/virtual CD drive onto disk then following the same steps

- If the final installation is missing the main exe, copy it from the files directory

I see a reupload request for this game, not knowing what it is... then I find out it's a Black Butler doujin game!

I'm just getting into this series, too! How funny... I was wondering if there was any doujin games for it, considering how popular it was back in the day and all that.

Well, I thankfully found the files, and now I can play it. But the interesting thing is... the game is in Chinese. Well, the interface stuff is in Japanese, but the text is Chinese. No matter, though. At least Textractor and LunaTranslator have the option to do Chinese translation too.

Here's the files.

141.47 MB. zip file

Includes: A save data folder, a plugin folder, an IME folder, a readme by the Chinese translator, the .exe of the game, a readme by Utsukiyo, an install .dat, and the data as an .xp3 file.

Here's Kuroshitsuji: Question for the hell of it too. Made by the same publisher. I don't think it's a direct sequel or anything, though. This one is all in Japanese.

147.52 MB. zip file

Includes: The game files, a setup as a .bmp file, an installation guide as a Word document, an install .exe, an install .dat, an icon as an .ico file, and an autorun as an .inf file.

Since I'm using Windows 10, I actually had to run Question in Windows 7 Compatibility mode...

(Right click the install .exe > Troubleshoot compatibility > Try recommended settings > click 'Test the program', then it should work)

Sono Shitsuji runs just fine, though. Which is strange, because it's a year older than Question. Beats me lol.

Both of these games were graciously provided by Shunhades on aarinfantasy. Big thank you to her!

If you're asking whether you have to mount an iso/img/whatever into a virtual disk drive (I believe that's what you're asking, anyway), then no, you don't. Sono Shitsuji you can just "run out of the box", but Question you have to put in Win 7 compatibility mode as I outlined in my original post.

HOLY FREAKIN' CRAP LOIS. I thought the original was gone to the sands of time. No.

The biggest, most MASSIVE thank you on the planet to XD92 over on aarinfantasy. Like I actually owe her (presuming it's a her) my life.

I can't tell you how much time I actually spent looking for the original version LOL. Omfggg.

Well, here's the goods.

134.2 MB. zip file

Includes: A files folder containing various gifs and images that are part of the game, a readme by Utsukiyo, 4 .dll files of some kind, a text file that... you can delete I guess LOL, data as an .xp3 file, and an .exe of the game. Outside of that folder- an autorun as an .inf file, an icon as an .ico file, 2 installation files- one as a .dat file, and another as an .exe, and a picture that's part of the setup as a .bmp file.

I actually set this up as the .iso that she provided, so I haven't tried just... Using the .7z/zip method. I presume you could just...

>unzip file
>click the install .exe
>go through the installation wizard
>??????
>profit
