Yo. Well, you're literate so that's a plus. Here's the deal, me (the guy with the bike) and the oh so charming idiot you'll see me around with, have formed a little business called Nova Inc. (Catchy, yeah?) We've taken on all sorts of jobs in the past but now that we're starting to make a name for ourselves, we need an extra set of hands to get 'em all done. If you're interested, meet us at the bar after nightfall and we can talk. If you meet our standards, you'll be hired on as a contract employee. (OOC) Hello there! Thanks for dropping by! Apparently I am now brave enough to try RPing here and I was in the mood for some fantasy. Here's the good and bad news depending on how you look at it; I have only had two serious story based RP partners meaning that I am basically an RP virgin and quite moldable/willing to explore. This RP definitely doesn't have to be romantic so it's open to whoever may be interested. There are some profiles and rules for you below. Have a good one!

 

My Rules:

 

1. When I say seme, I do not mean a huge, sentient dick so if your guy is just going to be a substance-less, abusive jerk-off...I'd just rather not. Now that said, he doesn't have to be some saintly, big-brother type (although I admit, I have a weakness) or have some deep tragic past. Same for ukes. I don't mind a delicate flower, just don't be an annoying delicate flower.

 

2. Please, please, please check your spelling, my dears. I don't mean to be a downer but every time someone mixes up their and they're and you're and your for example, I feel myself die a bit inside. I won't bite your head off if it's a hard word or you make a few typos or English isn't your first language but please, basic spelling and grammar would be much appreciated along with minimal text speak.

 

3. Make it concrete to me exactly what is and isn't working out with the RP along with appropriate RP times/frequency

ex) you want me to reply at least 3 times daily from 4PM on your time, so on (I realize most of us have lives)

 

4. Add to the story, it's not set in stone and I love having fun with my writing and hope you do to

 

IMPORTANT: I am used to RPing on instant messaging platforms (Yahoo IM back in the day, LINE now) so I tend to only write a sentence or two to a paragraph as I respond pretty quickly (instantly to ~30-45 mins generally). We can discuss how we want to do this but I don't like big, huge chunks that take five minutes to read unless it's plot important and really can't be broken up.

Dye

 

Age: "Unimportant but I’m legal, dammit." (19)

 

Origin: Dye was "created not born" as it was put to him and he has the curse of fire, leaving him unable to touch people lest he burn them, a sad reality he discovered early on. He’s not an amnesiac per se but his memories are few and far between and he likes it that way. He has an older sister that he loves dearly but refuses to go home to until he breaks this curse.

 

Personality: A bit surly and forgetful but he’s always looking out for Harley. He gets lonely and can admit that but otherwise, he’s not very touchy feely. He adventures to keep himself fed as well as to stave off boredom. He’s rather tenacious and can be very impulsive and tactless, especially when he’s gone too long without using his abilities but he can be quite kind and very collected if he feels the need. He is rather skeptical of Harley’s abilities but often has his fortune told anyway. He keeps a journal of sorts to help him remember things… Or it would if he hadn’t have lost it... Again.

 

Physical Attributes:

 

Dye is tiny but mighty, standing proud at 5’4” and weighing in at 130 pounds of muscle (and maybe the slightest bit of baby fat on his face) from all his odd jobs. He runs warmer than most humans at a simmering 140 when he’s not trying to keep it under wraps. His most notable feature is his hair. (He’s a brunette with a distinctive streak of orange that runs from the crown of his head through his bangs, it tends to light up when Dye is excited, nervous, etc. leading him to tie his hair back with a bandana when it isn’t spiked up.) Having fire power is a double edged sword as contrary to what some may think, he can overheat either from overuse of his powers or not using them enough and he hates it. When he does overheat, he tends to become disoriented very quickly, unintentionally rampaging and setting things ablaze until he wears himself out, leaving him very vulnerable for the next several hours with his temperature going as low as 70 degrees. After the most recent incident, he and Harley decided it might be good to have another set of hands.

 

Clothing:

 

*He prefers simple clothing and isn’t picky aside from nearly always wearing gloves and his bandana.

Harley the Seer

 

Age: Unknown, he likes to say his birthday is the day of the first snow

 

Origin: He comes from a small village (-cough-harem) of female psychics with one male who impregnates all of them until his death. He was the first boy to be born in a very long time. Half his people treated him as an outcast and the others as if he was some holy being. Eventually he wandered away on his own.

 

Personality: He just wants to play. Harley is rather curious, especially about bodies, but also very laid back, he's content to laze about and enjoys dancing in their free time(something Dye calls him a "girl" for). He loves loud, noisy, colorful things. Harley doesn't exactly comprehend human emotion in Dye’s opinion and just enjoys the pleasures of the flesh such as drinking. Harley’s not worried about own mortality, he doesn't see death as good or bad, it just is..

 

Physical Attributes:

 

Like all of his people, he has another set of “eyes” that allows him to see future events and such but his physical eyes are no longer present either from damage/deteriorating or they never formed to begin with. He can't quite remember but that doesn't matter, he just uses his "other eyes" to tell him what he needs to know.

*Harley’s skin has a rather luminescent quality to it and he seems to have a slightly bluish hue.

*Fairly toned physique because he can’t stay still for too long.

*5'9" and "heavier than he looks" according to Dye.

*He seems to float more than walk

 

Clothing:

 

*Tends to go barefoot when he can and he enjoys loose, flowing clothing with sheer fabrics.

(He doesn't like wearing a lot because it hinders sensation but he will follow Dye’s instructions to blend in.)

*He has an affinity for scarves and boots when he must cover up.
