If I understand correctly, Sanada Yukimura is a son-in-law of Outani Yoshitsugu in this plot, and Sarutobi Sasuke promised to Outani Yoshitsugu to take care of his daughter and Sanada Yukimura. I think the plot takes place after the Battle of Sekigahara, and Outani is already dead. It has more expressions and bromance contents, like: "I will run, but you must live to fulfill our promice".
