Is the version that's released for online viewing (the one where you have to register on the Chinese site), is that the cut version? Does anyone know how long the uncut version will be, given that the cut version is 2 hours.

The version streamed on iqiyi is the cut version. Since the first movie's uncut version reached almost 3 hours (if I'm not mistakened), then most likely the uncut version would be that long as well. The release of the uncut version is said to be this November ^^

Thank you for the reply, and for the information. And yes I do recall the first one being just over 3 hours. I'm hoping the second will be the same.

And November is not that far away, so that's positive.

 

I felt the cut version had something missing, so hopefully come November with the uncut version, it'll fell more whole. That's how I felt about the first one at least, the close affections that were cut out from the short version of the first one took a lot away from the overall feeling of the movie.

 

Side note; I haven't used the forum much in later years, but I have just been anticipating this movie so much since the first one is one of my all time favorite BL movies, so I came back for that. I haven't been this excited about a BL release since Takumi-kun 5. Err.. sorry for the random personal information.

Just finished watching cut version of "nobody knows" and the adorableness meter was off the charts; just seeing Ahn Ziyan wearing that outrageous kitty "couples" shirt was worth it alone... subs not perfect, they changed Mai's family situation to more affluent, the character dynamic was still wonderful, and final impression was loved it from start to finish~
